Wonderful Resort!
From the wonderful sunrises, spectacular pool, beach, well-manicured landscaping and on-site restaurant, this resort merits 5 stars. Adjacent Safeway and Starbucks are a definite plus. This is an excellent location for seeing all parts of Kauai, from Hanalei to Kapaa to Waimea Canyon.

Great Resort...Great Room
Have stayed twice at this property and hope to go back more times. Location is great as there are lots of things to do close by and it is centrally located for ease in travelling to other parts of the island. This unit was in good condition and offered a nice view of the resort and the Kauai was very easy to work with and very prompt in all communication. Have dealt with them on multiple trips and have always been very satisfied.

Perfect Perfect Perfect
Location was Perfect! View was wonderful! Condo was perfectly clean and met our needs and then some. Our first visit to Kauai was definitely memorable and we WILL be back! The on-site restaurant is closed two days out of the week but there are plenty of other options nearby. Not to mention the full kitchen and on-site BBQ grills available. Proximity to the airport was wonderful. Proximity to the other areas of the island makes this location wonderfully ideal. Highly recommend. We were pleasantly surprised by a welcome gift. We were able to chat with the person who was there to service the condo upon our check-out and he was very pleasant and informative. Nothing bad to say about this experience.

Anniversary getaway
Overall was about what you would expect. Room sizes were generous for a week stay but a little cramped with an infant and nanny using the pull out couch at night. Room overall needed a deep cleaning to get some stains out of the curtains etc but we spent most of the time out of it than in it.

Waipouli Beach Resort is amazing!
Stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. Our condo had all amenities we needed, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, super comfy bed, and lovely bathroom.

Wonderful Place to Stay
The space was wonderful, spacious and well appointed. The resort itself is quite nice - do wish there was some other food option directly onsite. The only complaint about the room was the broken drawers in the large 3 drawer dresser - I felt fortunate that I did not break a toe with one of drawers falling out on me!

Loved Kauai!
The Waipouli Beach Resort was a terrific place to base our Kauai vacation. The condo has an amazing view of the resort and ocean and we spent each evening relaxing on the lanai. The spacious condo had everything we needed and wanted.

nice resort, some issues with unit
This is a nice resort with a nice pool - note that it is a shallow pool, there is not a deep end, at all. The restaurant on the property is amazing! We love to stay in this area in Kauai, it makes for easy driving to other areas as it is what I consider centrally located. Issues with the unit though...things that they don't have control over but are worth a mention: too big of a bathtub (which we did not use except to dry our swimsuits), too small of a shower (most adults shower). The code to enter the pool is ridiculous, and became entertainment watching from the lanai all the people trying to get in. Frogs or something in the courtyard at night - it echoes and they are noisy.
Things they do have control over: CLUTTER. Too many decor items - that space is needed for guests to put their items - i.e., they put a nice corner shelf next to the toilet in the main bathroom, which would be useful for personal items, but they have put tchotchkes on every inch of it. Too much furniture - it crowds the place. Suggestion: remove the 4 barstools. BEDDING AND VACUUM ON THE FLOOR OF THE CLOSET!! I moved a mattress pad and a pillow to the top, and there was still a lot on the floor, but at least moving those made it possible to hang my stuff up w/o touching (yuck!)! We had to store our shoes in the foyer! AND THE PILLOWS ARE TINY AND THIN AND THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE I'VE EVER SLEPT ON! A king size bed deserves king size pillows. The light in the shower bathroom is too dim. The drawers on the dresser don't open and close correctly (one almost fell out on to our toes).

Great location!
This property is in a great location and part of a beautiful resort that includes a lazy river, 3 hot tubs and pool area. Located on the east coast, it is perfectly situated for exploration of the entire island! The condo was very clean, but would recommend updating the furniture and decor as well as replacing the sagging mattress in the master bedroom, it was the only thing we found to be uncomfortable. I would also recommend adding beach towels to the towel inventory. We did purchase a couple of cheap ones at Walmart and left them for future guests.

Excellent Location For Island Exploration
This unit is excellent for those looking for a high-quality resort as a centrally located base for active exploration of the island. If you are looking to simply relax and spend most of your time at or near the resort, a property located on the north or south shores of Kauai may be better. Property is on the east shore of the island between Wailua and Kapaa, 20 minutes from the airport, about an hour from Princeville and other destinations in the North and 1.25 hours from Waimea Canyon in the west. Very convenient to grocery shopping and restaurants. Photos of unit and property are accurate. Property was very quiet during our stay. Plenty of parking. Check in/check out was easy and communication from Re/Max was outstanding. Unit is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Description states two bathrooms, but the layout is very odd; if privacy is important, it is functionally one bathroom. Direct but distant view of the ocean. Some reviewers state they had a direct view of the sunrise but this may be a function of time of year since our view was occluded by other buildings. Excellent pool area. Nice beach in front of the property but bounded on the north and south; do not plan for a long beach walk (look carefully at Google Earth). Beach is not “swimmable” - much better beaches located in the south or north of the island. On-property Oasis restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday which we found inconvenient. Overall, we were very pleased. If this location works for your plans, unit is highly recommended.

Amazing!!
This was our first time to the island and the vacation rental experience was flawless. One of the best surprise perks was our vacation concierge reaching out a month prior to our trip to help us plan activities. This was a first when dealing with a non-resort property.

We had the most amazing time in Kauai! We watched the sunrise every morning from the balcony, and spent our evenings in that beautiful pool. There are no words that can accurately describe what we experienced, but our lives haven’t been the same since we left.❤️ Book this place NOW!

Great Unit in a Great Location
We really liked the unit we were in with the A/C and great view. It was in a convenient location to access the north & south side of the island.

Great kitchen and view
We spent 3 nights in this unit and had a great time. Pros: Really nice kitchen with updated top of the line appliances and nice dishes. Loved having 2 bathrooms with huge soaking tub plus shower. Lanai felt nice and private with comfortable chairs and a pool/ocean view. Unit is right by elevator so easy access. Our daughter loved the slides in the pool. The restaurant Oasis was surprisingly good and had a nice ambiance. Central location to north and south shores and convenient grocery store across the street. Cons: Even though we knew the east side beaches were not great, we were a bit disappointed coming from having stayed in Princeville the previous nights which is much more beautiful of a location. The condo was very clean but the couch could use a steam or updating as it had a big stain on it. I also found the bed uncomfortable - the side I was on had a big depression in it. But my daughter loved the sleeper couch which had a Tempurpedic mattress. No beach gear like beach chairs or boogie boards to use but Poipu beach has rentals. Overall, we had a good stay in the condo but just know that you can't compare East side to Princeville or Poipu.

Kauai Getaway
My husband and I stayed at the Penthouse Oceanfront Waipouli Beach Resort to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The penthouse was amazing! They had everything we needed to hang by the pool or play in the ocean. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in the mornings on the lanai watching the waves. We will definitely be back!

Great Place to Stay
The condo was excellent. Great kitchen, comfy living room and bedroom. Very clean and looks new. Grocery store across the street and a numerous restaurants within a mile. Location was perfect as it was about the same time to go to the North Side as it was to the West Side. Both within 90 minutes. Perfect for exploring the island. Pool was relaxing after a day out.

Great location and ammenities
The Waipouli Beach Resort condo offered all the conveniences of home with the added perk of an ocean view and fantastic amenities. The pool and hot tubs were well maintained and offered activities for all age groups from kids to senior citizens. The condo unit offered luxury appliances and the convenience of an in unit washer and drier. We were able to travel using only carry on luggage by running a small load of laundry mid-stay. We also ran a load the last night and went home with a suitcase full of clean close! The only drawbacks we can point out are minor. The exterior of the property is showing a little wear and could use a fresh coat of paint. Inside the unit, it was evident the cleaning crew is not focused on the details. There was a potato chip under the cabinet overhang on the kitchen floor. We also found a bobby-pin and a used toothpick (ew) on the bathroom floor. In the bedroom we discovered a discarded earring a previous renter left behind. These are all signs of the cleaning crew just phoning it in. All in all the condo is terrific and the location can't be beat.

Great Kauai Getaway!
Kauai is always a beautiful place to stay, and this one-bedroom unit was perfect for a couple. Easy access to pool, workout room, parking lot, and restaurant. We could enjoy the music (Wednesday nights) from our balcony. The unit was well furnished, especially the kitchen. The Waipouli Resort is centrally located on the island, making it a great place to stay.

The condo was beautifully furnished and had a lovely location. A few negatives were: the uncomfortable sofa, the useless sink disposal, and the tricky start to the clothes dryer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This property was so perfect. The furnishings were super comfortable, all the appliances were very high and the kitchen was extremely well stocked, the view was spectacular and the resort itself had terrific amenities, plus it was on the beach and had a wonderful restaurant.

We loved our time in E-406. The condo was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family of 4 to spend 2 weeks enjoying Kauai. The unit was well appointed with everything we needed and Waipouli Beach Resort is perfect for families.
