Cosy and comfortable

We were a group of 4 singles so this cottage was perfect for us as we all had our own bedroom. The cottage was very well equipped down to toiletries, beautiful breakfast supplies and chocolates and port. It was very cold at the time but there was plenty of wood supplied for the fire. We look forward to a return trip in warmer weather so we can enjoy the outdoors area with the lovely country view. This is a great stay for families too with 2 living areas available. Read more

Wonderful comfy cottage

This cottage is located in the historic town of Mintaro. It was beautifully presented, very comfortable, very quiet, and contained all modern conveniences. Easy access to the Clare Valley and its wineries, and the historic town of Burra. We met the owners who were friendly, and helpful, and were genuinely concerned that we had a great stay. Tasteful and restful

Our family of 8 (2 adults and 6 children) stayed for a comfortable 2 nights in this beautiful cottage situated in the lovely historic town of Mintaro. The cottage is a full size house with many modern conveniences, 2 toilets and ample space. The fire was appreciated on the cool nights as was the bedding and electric blankets. Wonderful Accomodation

Myself and 5 girl friends stayed here for a girls weekend away. We absolutely loved it. The accommodation was great. The cottage was a nice mix of luxury and coziness. We walked into an immaculately clean place.The beds and pillows were comfy. The beds had electric blankets for the cold nights. We were blessed with beautiful weather during the day but the nights were still frosty enough for us to be able to enjoy the wood fire.The pictures shown in the ad are exactly what you will find. We were wonderfully surprised by all the little things that were included. It is quite close to a lot of attractions.The Mintaro Maze is just around the corner and Martindale Hall is a short drive away. The pub is across the road and so is a winery/cafe. Clare is not far away and there are so many wineries to visit. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for groups or families. Read more

Great little getaway for weekend especially after lockdown from Covid 19. Only few minor issues but not enough to ruin getaway or raise. (Smoke detector does need new batteries though). Ellenor Ivy Cottage is a gorgeous, well-equipped B & B from which we enjoyed a 2 night Clare Valley get-away. The weather was wintery, but we were very cosy with a wood fire and electric blankets.
