Disappointed

The area.

Dirty room. Animal & human hair on sheets , pillow & couch. Was never informed that pets are allowed in rooms. Definitely needs to do better job cleaning rooms..

Okay. Would not stay there again, even though I prefer B&B's over hotels. It's a beach community.

Breakfast was great, location great. Bathrobes provided, luggage rack. Bathroom large and adequate. Staff/owners friendly and personable. Complimentary wine in evening, beach chairs, towels, etc. Gave us directions, recommendations for dinner, etc.

Inn is very old, needs work to upgrade condition. Staircase and upstairs hall carpets need replacing or removal, hardwood floors refinished. Window air conditioners in all rooms, needs central air. Facility allows pets, they don't help the condition of facilities.

Suite was very clean and spacious. Unfortunately the suite itself had a very musty odor to it- not quite sure where it was coming from but it permeated the suite.

I had to search the B&B for someone to check me in. Breakfast was the worst part of our stay and was included in our stay. Yogurt parfait had been sitting out at our table- not sure how long. ( we had not ordered it) I had 5 cups of coffee- NONE of them were hot. We were served scones. We were never asked if we wanted something else- we had to ask if we could have something else for breakfast…we ordered scrambled eggs/ toast nothing elaborate. First time we have been to a B&B where we weren’t given a choice for bfast- disappointing. Suite was very clean and very roomy but had a very musty smell to it. No one around at all at check out.

Enjoyed our stay. We had a really good time.

Breakfast was Great! Doug did a great job! Enjoyed the 3 course meal. Different each morning and very tasty! Dottie was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. Location was good. Could walk everywhere.

We had rainy cool weather every day. According to weather channel was to be warm and sunny. Not the Inn's fault.

Staff extremely friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast every day. 😋 Our server Dottie was great. She was very engaging and so easy to talk too.

Our room had a leak from the upstairs room. Manager shut water off and called plummer but it was Saturday. He offered to discount our stay. Also the refrigerator was unbalanced so the door scraped the rug. Big brown stain on rug by desk. Missing blind wand and several blinds were missing slants.

Nice B&B for a get away.

The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Someone was always available to assist and help if needed. The property was nice and the breakfasts were good.

the staff was amazing and the location was great

the carpet could have been vacuumed better going upstairs and hall, there was a slight odor and the fan in our ‘‘twas very dusty

It was a great stay and I would definitely stay again.

We loved the location. We loved the decoration and charm of the place. It was great to have breakfast and coffee in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was filling and satisfying. Bicycles were available for use (bring your own helmet) and information was available about scheduling other activities.

Let me just start by saying that we really loved our stay. However, part of the reason we chose Channel Beach Inn was the information on line that it was run by chefs. We do not expect fancy or five star food in a beach, small town location but we were hoping for expertly prepared and savory, tasty food. Breakfasts were fine but nothing special. We paid for the five course meal and, of course, enjoyed ourselves and the service. But, the food was truly just very, very average and not very flavorfully prepared. The one exception was the ten star (out of five) lemon dessert. THAT was award worthy and very appreciated!

We love staying at this wonderfully charming B&B located in the quaint downtown of Chincoteague Island.

This is a charming B&B located right off of Main Street. Walking distance to many excellent restaurants, a variety of shops, parks and boat excursions. The staff is very warm and friendly. The breakfasts (and special dinner offered on the 4th o July) were all gourmet and delicious.

The property is older and some of the main floor is in need of redecorating.

Great host offering excellent breakfast/complimentary afternoon wine but rooms are old, outdated

host was extremely friendly and helpful. breakfast was very good. hotel is generous offering afternoon wine to guests and free water bottles

Room was tiny and bathroom even smaller. like a compartment on a train. way to small and cramped for the amount of money they charged for the room. terrible value for money!!

Great place to stay

Staff is absolutely wonderful. They are always willing to help. The food was great. They have bikes, beach chairs, beach towels all that you can borrow for free, though it is first come and a limited number of each.

I would have liked to have the coffie/tea available for longer. But to be honest I didn't ask for it either.
