Parfait !

Tout ! Très belle haveli, bien restaurée. Staff adorable et aidant. Mukesh nous a été d’une grande aide et est très à l’écoute de nos besoins. L’hébergement est situé au cœur de la vielle ville, près des monuments et vieilles architectures. Bien apprécié le calme sur la terrasse en fin de journée.

A truly amazing property!

The history of the property is fascinating and how amazing the restoration has been. Its situated in the old area of Ahmedadad and there are options to join a historical tour (would recommend this so you get a feel of the surroundings) The decor is truly wonderful, the architecture and furnishings are stunning, you can feel the sense of history and will feel at peace staying here. The stairs are leading up to the property and also inside can be steep but the staff are willing and capable of carrying heavy cases (especially mine) and despite the noise from the traffic, once the doors are closed, it's very quiet. The hotel doesnt have a restaurant and breakfast is cooked to order which was tasty. All staff are friendly and attentive. Overall I felt extremely safe on my own and would highly recommend anyone to stay! p.s it's the most comfortable bed I think I've ever slept in! Thank you for looking after me!

The shower head was a bit crazy with the water spraying everywhere but still a good shower!

very disappointing stay.

I likes the history behind the house.

This may be an old house of maybe 300 years old, but our stay was not the best. We experience the following: a) water issues, b) The location is such that taxi's do not want to come there only ricksha's. So if you have bags this is a problem. c) the bed was the old style mattress, made of a layers of indian blankets (Hodrha).

A calm & classy oasis in the heart of the crazy old city.

In a word EVERYTHING! This beautiful 300 year old Haveli is easily the most impressive place we have stayed in during our many trips to India. Mukesh & his FABULOUS team of Devising, Mohan Lal & Dattu looked after us like Royalty & the regality of this building also adds to that feeling. We were truly bowled over by the warmth of their hospitality, the great coffee & fantastic breakfast. I hate gushing but everything was just so perfect! Mukesh is extremely professional & accommodating & helped us with trips out to Patan & Modhera for the ancient steps & the Sun Temple. He also can arrange a heritage walking tour of the old city. None of these things will break the bank. The only sadness was having to leave the place .. we SHALL be back ❤️

Bel endroit

Bel haveli restauré, des meubles anciens, la beauté des sols carrelés. Beaucoup de charme dans la vieille cité. Confortable et spacieuse chambre à 3 lits au 2d étage tranquilles nous étions au calme. Personnel attentionné, appliqué. Avons spécialement apprécié Mukesh qui à 2 reprises nous a fait visité la vieille ville.

Hébergement pas adapté aux personnes âgées ou à celles qui auraient des difficultés à marcher du fait des différences de niveaux et les nombreuses marches. Le thali gujarati est bon mais trop cher.

Todo fue muy bueno. Solo hay que tener en cuenta que es difícil llegar en taxi, el hotel tiene el contacto de uno muy bueno que te acercará lo más posible. Los del aeropuerto no querrán acercarse

This is a beautiful heritage building in the heart of the old city. The building was meticulously maintained and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was delicious!

Access can be a bit tricky during rush hour as the streets are narrow.

A unique experience that needs a week to properly delight in.

The 300 year old mansion is gorgeous and lovingly restored, with original details faithfully there every where you look. At the same time, the air conditioning, wifi, and comforts of the beds, linens and majestic bathrooms are completely up to date for modern needs. The staff are incredibly nice and caring, cheerfully going above and beyond.

The site is in the old city, so be prepared that to get there you have to go down crowded and bustling narrow alleyways. It’s a locale and definitely Indian. It’s hot and sticky with flies in summer—but that’s Ahmedabad. The food is home cooked and delicious— and completely vegetarian. Vegan can absolutely be accommodated, but no yearnings for anything like an egg.

We do not regret at all and highly recommend the place

We really appreciated the way we were hosted. Mukesh in particular, but not only, has been very helpful and gave us lots of good tips such as place a to eat. He has also been very nice to make our staying the best it could be. He and his colleagues have been very nice guys!

Maybe the shower should be fixed as we did not get lots of water

The room was HUGE, we weren't expecting this at all. The property is old and beautiful and for the money this place is amazing. We didn't have breakfast but they did kindly give us fruit and juice, and we were able to order food to the property. Great stay in the old city.

Down quite a narrow busy road and once we got thrown out the rickshaw at least 10 minutes away, so as long as you're ok with walking this place is great.

nice stay in the heart of old town. staying in the old town has its pros and cons. but if you choose to be immersed in

a 200+ year old old house with lots of characters. the staff is helpful if you ask.

wi-fi in 2nd floor is terrible. the breakfast can have more varieties.

beautiful vintage property with the old world charm. the staff were super helpful and went out of thier way to make our stay comfortable.

This hotel is in the most amazing heritage listed 400 year old building. I booked the King Suite which was enormous with a beautiful 4 poster bed and tastefully renovated fittings and furnishings.

The property is located in the middle of the old walled city and is a bit tricky to get to but we’ll worth the effort.

The homestay was a heritage property which has been upgraded and modernized. The old character of the building has been well maintained. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful.

Spacious and pretty

Spacious, quiet, laid back picturesque haveli in the heart of the old city.

They have constant commercial photographic 'shootings' going on which is a bit of an inconvenience for those staying there. The fixtures are all a little off.

It’s beautiful inheritance property. Feels like home. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Location is great. Manekchowk, where you can buy so many stuff was at walkiodistance. Very pleasant stay.

A 300 years old heritage haveli with all modern amenities

There are antique furniture in the rooms and the common spaces. Room and bathroom are clean and well ventilated. The bathroom is amazing with all modern amenities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in an open courtyard. Food is good in taste. The coloured glass window panes deserve special mention. The haveli is located very close to the Ratan Pol traditional clothes market and Manekchowk food market.

The haveli is located in the very narrow lanes of the old city area of Ahmedabad. Cab drivers refuse to enter this area which can be a problem if you have heavy luggage. The lofty stairs in the haveli are unsuitable for elderly and kids. The area is very polluted with smoke from innumerable auto rickshaws and motorbikes. It is almost impossible to walk along the lanes.
