Séjour merveilleux chez Milly & Bill ! La chambre, la salle de bain et les pièces communes étaient toutes très propres et très confortables. Le lit et la literie étaient très douillets. La salle de bain a tout ce qu’il faut avec des super produits et en prime des savons faits main par l’hôte lui-même. L’emplacement est parfait, nous avons pu aller à la brasserie juste avant et nous étions près de l’arrêt de bus pour rejoindre Ucluelet le lendemain matin de notre séjour. Milly & Bill sont très accueillants et accommodants, ils nous ont préparé un super dîner à notre arrivée, ainsi qu’un petit déjeuner très matinal pour que nous puissions voyager le ventre plein. Ils sont incroyables, je reviendrai sans hésiter et recommande à 200%, merci encore Milly & Bill !!!

the guy in charge we walked in but me and the wife were thinking it was pricey but it wasn't so we walked out after we were trying to make another baby and the dude at the place we didn't dirty anything and i asked for our money back at least half he wouldn't do it i told him what we thought and what we wanted to do he said i can offer you 15 percent off our next stay i couldn't believe it and he wouldn't budge so in reality he scammed us

Tolles B&B. Super aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der in offener Küche das Frühstück live zur gewünschten Zeit zubereitet.
Der Gastgeber, ein feingebildeter Herr, hat sehr gute Ausflugstips und weiß über alles Bescheid, ggf. mit Hilfe des PC.
Wohlfühlfaktor wie bei Freunden zu Gast. Es gab sogar Abendessen, included (!!). Das hatten wir noch nie in einem B&B. Herausragend.
Der Seeblick ist phantastisch und verleiht der Unterkunft eine Toplage.
Schwer zu sagen, unser Navi tat sich bei der Feinfindung ein wenig schwer, aber was macht das schon, man kann jede(n) fragen, alle Menschen sind sehr hilfsbereit.
Die Lage ist eben nicht zentral, aber man kommt natürlich schnell mit dem Auto zum Hafen usw.
Badezimmer ist „shared“, stellt aber kein Problem der, wenn sich jeder Gast so verhält wie zu Hause.

Frühstück und Abendessen in Bioqualität inklusive und selbstgemacht! Toll!
Zum Abschied gab es noch eine selbstgemachte Seife.
Es ist etwas hellhörig durch die Dielenböden.

Didn’t realise we having shared bathroom and single beds but that didn’t matter to us, all worked out really well.

The hand made soap and environmentally friendly shampoo. The comfortable bed and the home made Granola. Lovely house in a quiet location within walking distance of shops.

Bill and Milly are incredibly accommodating and friendly people, who will tell you about all the best spots to eat, hike and other hidden gems. Bill prepared a healthy homemade breakfast every morning, and even made each of us a homemade soap to take home! The place itself is spacious and clean and has a beautiful view of the water, and is in walking distance of all the best restaurants in town!

Milly and Bill were so generous and helpful. We had a couple of issues with health and our hire car, and they completely saved the day. Just wonderful!

Close to the water
The floors and doors are squeaky and if there is someone staying above, one can hear everything and its hard to get a good night sleep. And in the morning when the hosts are preparing breakfast, you can hear everything they do in the kitchen.

Very friendly welcome by the owner. We stayed in the family room on the top floor. Nice and spacious room with a private bathroom with a good shower. Pancakes with fresh blueberries were made for us for breakfast.
although we are not the widest, the double bed was really tight in terms of width - rather a wide single bed than a double bed.

Our room was beautiful and the bathroom very clean and fully equipped. Bill is a very nice host (and a very good cook) who invited us to join his delicious dinners and prepared fantastic breakfasts for us. Also, Bill gave us very helpful tips for hiking trails and beautiful secret places. And his bear talk is not to be missed.

We really enjoyed staying a night in Port Alberni at the Outdoor Lovers. The hosts were very kind, helpful and communicative. The dinner and breakfast was homemade and very delicious. The whole house was tidy, clean and comfortable.
Bill had very good suggestions for our trip. We implemented them and we had great trails with less people and saw the beautiful nature.

Everything is very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is calm and has a beautiful small harbor. Bill cooks everything fresh by himself, it tasted very good! He also showed us some insider tips we could visit :)

Very interesting heritage property. I appreciated the owner’s hospitality and their commitment to make our stay enjoyable. on short notice, we stayed a second night due to the highway closure.
The only concern I had were the stairs; but these were manageable.

The hosts Milly and Bill were very friendly and also offered both dinner and breakfast as part of the stay and both meals were exceptional. It was good to meet two other couples staying at the same time and we had some good discussions over meals. Bill also suggested interesting places to visit around Port Alberni.

Breakfast was ample and delicious (eggs, toast, bacon, coffee and tea) - Bill and Milly make jams, nut butters and salsas in-house themselves, as well as providing a little gift for everyone of homemade soap! They were warm and helpful and friendly but also gave us the space for our group meeting at breakfast as we needed to make a plan for the rest of our trip :). They were also very flexible and accommodating about a late check in from our group.

Bill and Milly were fantastic hosts. They were such a pleasure to chat with and made us feel very welcomed. The property is in a beautiful location that's a perfect hub for visiting a lot of the surrounding areas and a bunch of great hikes in the area as well. Breakfasts were great too!

Very convenient if travelling by bike, they allowed us to keep our bikes in a safe place and we could even dry out our stuff next day. Also the location is great for resting. The house is lovely and clean.
The breakfast and the dinner were absolutely amazing, the owners are very generous and they gave us some natural soap as a gift.
The room is like a teenager's room and the mattress was too short. There isn't key for room's door.
Very awkward moment before check-out, I think it's unnecessary to pressure your guests asking why they wouldn't give you a 10 in a review while you are staring at them. So rude!

Bill was extremely pleasant and helpful. He even provided dinner for us - a home-cooked meal that was delicious and included in the price! We were only 3 minutes from where we needed to go to catch our boat to Bamfield, and he provided information on parking, etc. The house was super quiet and there was absolutely zero street noise , which made for a great sleep. We will definitely stay here again if we are coming to Port Alberni. I cannot recommend this property highly enough! Thanks Bill and Millie!
