Most friendly and exceptional B&B we've ever stayed at.

First of all the owners Janet and Carl are very wonderful people. They spare nothing to make your visit comfortable and very friendly. Also the ambience of the home/house...lots of history and pictures. Rooms are most comfortable and every detail... shampoo, grab bars, toilet lids that close slow (yes it is important) is taken care of. Their breakfasts however are unmatched, simply outstanding.

Just plain great in every way.

The home was beautifully restored to it's 1902 glory and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. They made great recommendations for things to do, places to see, explore and eat. We were very comfortable and had a great time. Highly recommend this gem of a B&B.

Scofield House Rocks!

The house was beautiful. The accommodations were very good. The food was fabulous. But most of all, and more importantly, the hosts were gracious, hospitable, and very friendly.

That we had to leave. We will definitely return often. Had a wonderful stay. Surpassed our expectations.

Beautiful home, wonderful host, best hot breakfast to start your day. They think of all the little details to make you stay comfortable and enjoyable. They have great suggestions for things to do in the area.

Very compfortable and relaxing.

Karl and Janet were great hosts. We also enjoyed the other guest. The location was very good for a base while exploring Door County.

Our only disappointment was we only could stay 2 days.

A last minute stopover with long lasting memory

There isn’t a single detail overlooked! From the ornate original custom woodwork, fabulous stories of furniture returning to the home, provided treats, quality linens, amazing breakfast, and overall hospitality…this is definitely a place to return to.

Wonderful experience

It was beautiful, affordable, and the owners are the kindest people. Breakfast was amazing! We fully enjoyed our stay! There was a lot to do in the surrounding areas. I'm so glad we stayed at the Scofield House!

Highly recommend for an enjoyable place to stay, relax, and recharge.

Very unique and historical and Karl and Janet were outstanding hosts. So helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Breakfast was 5 star awesome. An amazing place to stay.

This B&B is head-and-shoulders above the rest. Stop looking and book here. You won't regret it!

We didn't like anything about The Scofield Inn, we LOVED IT. What a wonderful experience. Beautiful house and room, the most courteous and kind hosts, fantastic meals and accommodations, and a great location. We loved everything and will definitely be visiting again; maybe even this year!

There was nothing we didn't like. I'm serious. It was all better than we could have expected.

Homey, attention to the small details and the best hosts you’ll ever meet!

We loved the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts!! From the minute we showed up, we felt at home. Breakfast was incredible and our host gave great recommendations for things to do in the area!

Nothing to complain about. We loved everything about out stay.

Will definitely be back, beautiful home, welcoming owners

The breakfast was delicious and portion sizes were generous. There were many drink option available. Hot apple cider, tea, coffee, WI sodas, and cookies (and other snacks) were available all day. Areas outside of our room were comfortable and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, with period details, a whirlpool tub, two comfortable chairs, fireplace, and very comfortable bed.

No complains, I was pleased with everything about our stay.

We could not have a better experience, outstanding!

The breakfast was delicious, a variety each day. The amenities were very nice and the the place was immaculate. The nicest part about our stay were the hosts. They engaged with each of the guests during breakfast and gave us tips of things to see and do on our trip. We would highly recommend this place!

Pleasant stay, great food

Food was wonderful, maybe the best of any B&B we have stayed at. The shower/bath was nice and the building was gorgeous.

Main downside was the room was smaller than I expected. Not even room to set out a second suitcase. Lots of stairs (porch + up to rooms)

This is our go-to place to stay in Door County.

The breakfasts were the best we have had in any B&B. The quiche pastry was so tender and the seasonings were just right! House was sparkling clean. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Our hosts were accommodating, welcoming and knowledgeable.

The Scofield House B&B is a beautiful, well-kept building that has been maintained beautifully.

It is a top rated bed and breakfast and my wife and I agreed that it doesn't get much better than what we experienced. Karl is an excellent cook and both Janet and Karl bend over backwards to make you feel at home.

Nothing; it was a perfect B & B for us. The only thing that may not be OK for some people is that there are stairs you have to climb to your room.

This is a vintage historic home with many saved remembrances from this homes beginnings back in 1902. It is like taking a step back in time. The owners of this gem in Sturgeon Bay, Karl and Janet, take great pride in their home and how the run their bed and breakfast. This is the 5th B&N we have stayed at and is our favorite. Great people, Great food and a great house.

I honestly have no complaints besides not staying longer!

Everything was absolutely great. The hosts were wonderful, the breakfasts homemade and delicious, and the house and our room was delightful.
