Our stay at The Regatta House was excellent. The property is top notch and all the employees were awesome. They all seemed to thoroughly love their job and were so helpful! The room was very clean and decorated elegantly; even the soap and shampoo were luxurious. Also we were so close to walking downtown and to the beach.

Not told I would have to walk up 3 narrow flights of stairs when I reserved my spot. Room was an attic room. Very small. Only good thing was the bed, shower and toilet worked. Staff was friendly. Overall disappointed for what I paid.

The property and location were fantastic… like many businesses they are understaffed and so we waited more than a half hour at the check-in desk for a person to help us check in. It’s already bad enough when resorts will not allow you to check in until 3 PM that when you get there, you have to wait after 3:30 pm to actually have someone available to check you in.

The room was clean and charming, as advertised. I was disappointed with the lack of communication between the hotel personnel. For example, the key for the room was left on a plate with a sticky note bearing my name. Had it been in an envelope with a short welcome note, some brief instructions and at the very least, a thank you, I would’ve been more open about the lack of personal presence I had from the beginning. There were some delicious salted caramels left for me when I stated my discontent but the dye was cast. Also, bicycles were promised to me but that wasn’t an option when I got there. All ‘n all, I left feeling just meh about the hotel.

Overall: the stay was ok but it could easily be improved to be a great experience if the management tried. Good: room was clean upon arrival. Property is nice looking and there is decent outdoor seating. The place is very close to the steamship terminal and general location to the centre is excellent. Breakfast at the parent property is very close by and whilst the breakfast is limited in options, there is enough for it to work. No throw away mini toiletries Not so good: the living area with small items was poorly stocked (water cans ran out, there were no cups for coffee, snack biscuits were gone after the first day). The bins were not emptied in the communal areas for days meaning they became overflowing. Room cleaning was limited to refitting the same sheets and replacing towels. Fridge in the room was extremely noisy. Toiletries were not refilled in the room. There is construction going on right behind the property so it can get noisy from 8am. Internet was intermittent

The room was perfect! A classic design with simplicity. It was clean and had all we needed. The shower was beautiful with two shower heads as well as a handheld shower. We never encountered another person, but not times I called about early check in and late check out the customer service was wonderful. They were very accommodating and helpful. The house is located very close to the shops, ferry, and great restaurants.

When we checked in there was nobody around to check us in!!! And when we checked out, there was nobody around to check us out!!!! Very poor customer service! And when u call the number they left, it was an answering machine that said they werent returning until March!!

Bathrooms were newly renovated and fantastic! Rooms were comfortable & modern. Quick walk to town, and lovely surrounding area. I would definitely recommend.

This was our first time to Nantucket, we stayed 4 nights. It is a lovely hotel, part of a large group of Hotel Collection Nantucket. They have had an unfortunate fire in July 2022 that totally destroyed the Veranda Inn next door, also a part of the collection. They are determined to rebuild, just finishing up the demolition of the charred building. While they do, there is a lot of heavy machinery and construction noise that spans the entire block that lasts most of the day. Evenings are quiet. It will be very lively once it is finished. Our first night there, it was a major thunder and rainstorm and unfortunately rainwater was coming into the room through the ceiling. The property manager promptly moved us into another room for the rest of the night, and then upgraded us to a deluxe king with a great shower and soaker tub for the rest of our stay to make up for the trouble. These things happen, you can’t control the weather but how you deal with it is important. The property hosts stepped up, made us feel welcome and ensured the rest of our stay was very comfortable. Great location, walking distance to everything, lovely continental breakfast and very nice staff. We would definitely stay here again next time we are on the island!

The room was adorable but we’re pretty sure the AC filter had not been changed in a long time. So we were quite warm the whole stay. Otherwise, the place was excellent.

The property was beautiful and the supplies to make your stay (bikes, beach chairs, supplies, etc) were in excellent shape. The rooms were stunning and the staff, particularly Simone, was friendly and gracious.

Central location in easy walking distance from Town Center, quiet, beautiful garden, many places to sit and read. Room was on the small side with no closet and essentially little to no opportunity to hang up clothes. This was challenging as we were here for a wedding with lots of clothes. Not much indoor sitting space if weather is not good, plenty of outdoor seating.

We came to Nantucket to celebrate our anniversary and had a fabulous time. The hotel is lovely, staff were very helpful the room was really nice and clean and the bathroom spacious and very modern. We stayed in Chapman House to the side of the main building but breakfast is served in Veranda House on the terrace. There is a lovely garden and fire pit to sit around which only added to the quaintness of the place. It’s located really close to the shops and bars and the port. Loved it and would definitely come back

The location is great. The property is nice, clean and updated for an old building. I would highly recommend that the Windows need to be repaired. The rattle like cray when their is any wind, bad enough to ruin a nights sleep.
