Luke was especially helpful during our stay and made parking duing this holiday season super easy! The room is a charming super styled antique oasis, complete with a stunning 4 post bed, it was the perfect place to rest after enjoying the mountains and the town of GB. We were a bit surprised by the breakfast, or the lack there of. Cold pastries and regular coffee were the only options, no decaf. We have stayed before and had a very different experience, so we were surprised the change. All in all great, just plan a breakfast.

Finding the hotel and getting in were chores. There was no receptionist. One was left to figure it out. The venue is actually the third floor of a repurposed bank. The website gave no indication of this. The main entry is a small door leading to two steep flights of stairs-horrible! The owner/corp does everything possible to pretend this is luxury. It ain’t! The breakfast was fabulous as was the server. Just too weird!

Incredible. The staff made it so easy to check in late, as we were very delayed from our road trip. Wonderful restaurant recommendations, wonderful breakfast the next morning and we slept so well I snapped pictures of the tags on the pillows and ordered two for our house as we both agreed it was some of the best sleep we’ve ever had. Great location. Definitely on our list for places to stop when we’re in the area. Thank you, Barrington!

Property was located on Main St in the heart of Great Barrington, walkable to all stores and restaurants. Very pleasant facility, room very comfortable and clean.

The Barrington is a wonderful small hotel - great location in a charming small town, beautiful rooms, great old building, and the breakfast was fantastic! My only issue was the on-going mask mandate policy. At this point, we should probably be following the "science" and allow guests to wear masks if they want to... but don't require them. Even Hawaii has dropped the mandate!

Great spot to stay in downtown Great Barrington. A little less of a BNB than a hotel, but there were many touches that made us feel welcome as guests. Room was quite large, bed was spacious, and everything was clean and pleasant. Carrie is helpful and responsive and I recommend staying here!

Our stay in The Barrington could NOT have been better. My boyfriend and I came up for an escape from New York City and were amazed with the contact-less, CLEAN experience we had at this B&B. The breakfast outside the room is a sweet touch, the facilities are impeccable, and we communicated with the staff via text message. I will surely be back. The Boudoir suite was so chic and romantic.

Even with all the COVID19 precautions in place, The Barrington made our short stay memorable. It's a beautiful property, well hidden on Great Barrington's main drag. So beautifully decorated inside. Service was excellent! The place is kept extremely clean, and there is plenty of hand sanitizer everywhere. The highlight of the trip was breakfast each day, which was left outside our room every morning. The most wonderful continental breakfast! Clearly they have an amazing chef. Great B & B!

Enjoyed our whole experience, Management communicated with us details about our check in. Gave us a tour of the dining room and gave restaurant suggestions. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We liked having a cd player with opera and other choices for us. They left out fruit and snacks for us in the common areas which was nice. The Barrington couldnt have been in a better location. Right on main street we were close walking distance to everything in town. The fridge and keurig in the room was also a nice touch. In the morning we had breakfast and it was faboulus. Fresh squeezed orange juice and very good coffea and cappuccio, followed by a well made omelete and waffles with perfectly cooked blueberries and strawberries. 2 thumbs up for sure, we will go back for sure. A great experience, my wife and I cant say enough good things about it.

WAY more expensive than it needed to be.You pay a premium price for a lackluster stay.Not a true hotel only a few rooms on the top floor of an office building, sort of sketchy. Bed was uncomfortable

It was close to the event. It had an elevator and the room was clean and very spacios. I dont like that i left the "do not disturb" sign on the door. And the room was cleaned. The towels were hung up as stated with the "save the planet" sign. The towel were replaced. They only had decaf coffee in the room.

A complete and wonderful surprise! Correctly characterized as cross between bnb and boutique hotel.At first blush the location is unimposing -- on the third floor of an office building overlooking the main street -- but it turned out to be very funky, cool, and upscale!One of the few places I've stayed where I've thought of the furnishings, "I'd like that chest of drawers (or desk, or rug, or silverware, or dishes) in my home."William the proprietor is great. Delightful ambiance.Bathroom beautiful, kitchen spotless, breakfast music in dining area perfect.Could've stayed for days; would definitely come back.

Everything about The Barrington was fabulous - Location, rooms, staff. This is a small hotel with 6 rooms. Each was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Coffee and refrigerator in the room. Great restaurants, bakery and cafes a short walk from the front door. Great hop off spot to enjoy the Berkshires - Suggestions if you are in the area see Chesterwood, the estate of Daniel Chester French (You know him from the Lincoln Memorial in DC) and of a quirky little site, walk to the Newsboy Statue, an 1895 tribute to all of us who have ever delivered a newspaper. And here is a tip. If you book directly through the hotel and not Expedia, they include breakfast.
