Beautiful historic-style home with great conversation

The hosting couple were welcoming and charming. The house itself is beautiful and has an historic quality, representative of the Georgian architecture of Brockville. We were walking distance to Brockville's waterfront which is a great place to visit. At breakfast we had a stimulating conversation with the hosts and the other guests staying in the house. Ida and David were very instrumental in providing an atmosphere conducive to excellent conversation.

I can't say there was anything I particularly did not like.

Lovely host and fabulous historic building.

Very comfortable bed and house. Good privacy and lounging options, close to downtown, very nice hosts.

I found the bedding had strong fragrance ie fabric softener that bothered me but was able to open windows for fresh air.

We will definitely visit again.

There was a coffee maker upstairs so you could have coffee in bed before you came downstairs to an outstanding breakfast. The location was beautiful and within walking distance of multiple restaurants and the Arts Center. The hosts were wonderful, very helpful, interesting and pleasant. We enjoyed talking to them for a few hours after breakfast covering a wide range of topics. Overall it was a wonderful getaway.

A welcoming and comfortable stay

We booked a last minute stay while on the road from Toronto to Montreal and are so happy we did! Our hosts were so welcoming, the bed was comfortable (we slept for almost 10hours!) and the B&B was in the heart of the town, a short walk away from great restaurants. Ida’s breakfast was also a delicious start to our morning!

A Gem

Beautifully furnished house. Our suite had bedroom and TV lounge plus bathroom. A further adjacent room had table, chairs, coffee making facilities, newspapers- shared with the other guests. Downstairs there are two very comfortable lounges for guest use. Hosts, David and Ida are very friendly and accommodating. Area is an undiscovered gem - not extensive but interesting. Brockville is beautifully located on the St Lawrence. Pleasant walks. Good parking on site.

The accommodation, food, and graciousness of the owner/hosts was outstanding.

Outstanding individualization of breakfast choices, well prepared and beautifully presented. In addition there were a great many amenities that were available beyond the typical things hosts set out for guests.

We had a wonderful stay at this b & b. The house was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. Location was great, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was excellent. Ina and David were very attentive and welcoming hosts. We will be back.

Wonderful welcoming stay.

Ida and David were wonderful kind and helpful hosts. The historic house was very spacious and we felt so welcomed. Breakfast was great - we were able to dine al fresco on their lovely patio. The Inn has only two sets of guest at a time and is very near the center of town. Great for strolling around.

Beautiful old house in the Thousand Islands area.

The house is beautiful and well furnished. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, ready to comply with all our requests. The breakfast on the patio has been a pleasure. Brockville is a nice village, a good starting base for visiting the Thousand Islands area.

We were there for a short time only and our stay was perfect; I have nothing to complain about.

The owners are first class hosts. we love heritage restorations and they have done a beautiful job. We appreciated all the advice about things to see and places to eat. The breakfast is to die for!

Very relaxing, very comfortable in a lovely environment.

Ida and David were wonderful. They offered a beautiful home, an amazing breakfast, and great conversation. Very gracious hosts! We would definitely recommend their B&B to anyone travelling through Brockville and hope to visit with them once again in the future.

The Isaac Brock is the number one place to stay in Brockville, could not have been better.

Our hosts at this bed and breakfast were exceptional, we had a most enjoyable stay and this would without doubt be our first choice to stay on our next visit to Brockville! The accommodations were spacious, clean and super comfortable; literally a home away from home!

A wonderful time!

I loved the house and the decor was beautiful. The rooms were very nice and the hosts were just wonderful. We had amazing breakfasts and great conversation. There was always water and coffee available at any time. I felt very welcome. This was my first time as an adult at a B&B, and I'll be going back one day.

Everything! The owners where so friendly and made us feel so welcome. They also recommended places to eat and things to do. We had a wonderful trip. Rocky their little yorkie is a sweetheart.❤️

We found that our room was warm in the section where you watched TV. A fan in that area would have made it much more comfortable. This is just a suggestion not a complaint.

Very fresh and welcoming

Feels like you stay home. Very clean and welcoming. Very fresh air in the rooms. The breakfast served for your taste of choice. In terms of location, one hour driving distance from Kingston and Ottawa, which is perfect for one day traveling.

David and Ida are amazing. Hospitality worth its weight in gold. Their home is spectacular.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing !!!! David and Ida are more than wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend their B&B to everyone looking for a place to stay. The location is very close to the St Lawrence River and the downtown area. My time there was a delight !!!

Covid 19 has shut down so much. Yet the sun was shining. The river was blue and sparkling. Perhaps next visit I can experience the restaurants.
