Pour quelques euros de plus, vaut mieux aller ailleurs

Grandes chambres, lits confortables, personnel disponible et gentil

Établissement a 15min a pieds du centre, sur une pente assez raide. Connexion Wifi très lente à l’étage des chambres, petit déjeuner décevant par rapport à ce qu’on a pu voir dans d’autres établissements, pas possible de régler en euros ou par carte, chambres avec vue sur un puit de lumière.. avec vis à vis (très proche) sur la chambre d’en face. Toilettes dans la salle de bain, partagée avec 4 autres chambres..

Absolutely spotless place. Very kind and helpful owner and staff, good breakfast. Not expensive. Great view from the pleasant terrace. Big kitchen at guests disposal.

I was a bit disappointed by my room which wasn't at all like the photos on Booking.com. As very often when one travels alone you get casted out to the worst room of the hotel. Although it was very clean it was not at all a pleasant room. I would have thought as I stayed 5 nights I would get a better room. I knew I had to share the bathroom but I would expect at least a sink in my room. It had no furniture except for a simple bed, 2 chairs, a tiny bed table and a rack with cloth hangers. Not one decoration, not even a small table. The worst was the view from the window which was to very high and very pink walls so I had to look high up to see the sky. My room was always pink because of it. Some of the rooms have a great view and good windows. I had a very bad mattress but when I told the lady she changed it straight away. She really wants people to be satisfied. So I had a great stay but I would dare to suggest she makes the one person room a bit more cosy, pleasant and comfortable. And she should do something about the shower which was not very good. No pressure, very long time waiting for hot water and no way to hang the shower head so you had to hold it in your hands the whole time.

Polecam, na pewno tam wrocimy.

Pani wlascicielka, przesympatyczna oraz bardzo pomocna, jak rowniez pracownicy rezydencji. Na zyczenie mozna na sniadanie zamowic tradycjonalna na Capo Verde : Catchupa. Pyszna!

Niestety na sniadanie brakowalo warzyw, mozna jednak samemu sie zaopatrzyc na lokalnym bazarze.

Apartamento con maravillosa terraza.

La terraza y las vistas son extraordinarias. Nos alojamos en la habitación 8, no conozco las demás habitaciones, pero ésta es totalmente recomendable. Tiene un pequeño sofá desde donde contemplar Mindelos. Muy buena relación calidad/precio, al apartamento muy amplio y limpio. No hay TV ni aire acondicionado, aunque hay disponible un ventilador, no nos hizo falta. El desayuno muy completo y bueno, el wifi funciona muy bien. La dueña muy enrollada, nos ayudó mucho. Absolutamente recomendable.

La ubicación no es muy céntrica, pero se llega al centro dando un pequeño paseo.

Comfortable house up the hill from central Mindelo.

The house is very comfortable and located a maximum 20 minute walk from anything you'd want to visit in Mindelo - just bear in mind you'll be walking uphill to come back in the evening. The room is huge is very comfortable.

The photos aren't up to date and there is now a large house blocking the view of the bay. The staff didn't seem well coordinated and aren't able to speak to guests directly due to language barriers.

Very good

the breakfast was great, the owner is really nice, she comes to the residence sometimes. There is hot water avail. The room is huge! The neighborhood is nice and quiet. For the same price you can rent a room with a private bathroom but this residence is still good and well kept.

The cloth hangers in the bedroom were broken and the internet doesnt work in the bedrooms. It only works in the main living room and terrase.

Katy and her crew were totally cool and we enjoyed our stay.

I was worried that the location would be too far from the center of Mindelo. In fact, it was a short walk both to the center of Mindelo and to the beach, admittedly a walk downhill and then a return uphill. It was even closer to our two favorite music venues: Metalo Fast Good (sic) and Birdie Jazz. Also, Katy and her team were great. Breakfast was an event, eating on a balcony overlooking Mindelo.

Our room had a bathroom with a shower that needed some upgrades. (Why did it seem that the hardware holding the shower heads in all our bathrooms in Cabo Verde needed repair? Maybe, because they were all by the same manufacturer?) Anyway, we got clean and the hot water felt good. Also, the room and bathroom were clean and Katy promised the upgrades as soon as possible.

Super good option in a spotless room with views 10’ walking away from the city center.

Excellent treatment from the hostess, who facilitates everything that is in her hands to make your staying pleasant and comfortable. It is like 10' away by foot from the city center (downhill). The room and bathroom are spotless!

Nothing! To say something, the way back from the city is a bit hard if you are not used to walking uphill, but taxis are quite affordable.

Katy was super helpful and friendly. I ran into her at a local supermarket and she greeted me and was able to help me with getting a local SIM card. View from the terrace is beautiful and just as pictured. Even though I left at 5:45 am to catch the morning ferry, breakfast was already prepared and was substantial to start the day.

Great host, great room!

Our room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, we had a great view from the balcony and the city centre was quite close. Our host was really helpful and thoughtful, she arranged our taxi very early in the morning and made sure it arrived for us. She also packed a takeaway breakfast for us at 6am. She's amazingly kind!

The only downside in the room was the light coming from the bathroom as it has a glass door, but that's no big deal!

Very sweet host attentive to our needs and available. The breakfast is really great, local and tasty. The huge room is very comfy and with specaculat view over the city ;)

This small family-run hotel is on a hill very close to the port of Mindelo and with very nice view. Catty, the young woman who runs the place, went out of her way to help us figure out whether we needed to do a COVID test prior to our domestic flight (not such a straightforward issue, as we were getting conflicting replies): she accompanied us to the clinic very early in the morning, she checked elsewhere for any alternatives, if need be, and she waited until we made sure everything was settled. We really appreciated her help!
