amazing house with all the luxury that you need for an amazing stay

We stay at the knotty Pine each year when we travel to the valley. The kitchen is always perfectly stopped for breakfast, and we love the shared spaces and other guests we get to meet.

Beautiful accommodation, good breakfast, stayed 2 nights instead of one. The main house is stunning, staff very friendly and accommodating. Very clean, warm and set in wonderful surroundings.

Maybe the hot tub should be included in price of room and in the annex would have liked own bathroom.

The location is great; set just outside of Main Street Palmer. It was very easy to get to and a lot of wildlife to see as you travel to and fro. The bathroom we had in our unit was fit for a king. I am kicking myself we didn’t have a chance to use the gigantic soaker tub while we were there! The home and property are gorgeous. Rooms are all newly remodeled and up to date.

We stayed in the lower unit and walking down there my husband mentioned it smelling like a barn. (He works near one and is familiar). I would be curious to learn more about the property if it had stalls in the lower level. Had he not said anything, I wouldn’t have noticed it. I didn’t mind, but if you’re sensitive to smells it’s one thing to consider. While we were there and making up the pull out couch for our boys, we noticed the blankets had been thrown into the closet. Nothing was folded and some of the comforters were soiled. (Very gross) During the night we had to separate my sons and set up a fold out mattress to the floor. (We used 3 fold out mattresses in total; two for the pull out couch, as there is little to no padding and one on the floor.) The second night we go to make up beds and notice a pad is gone. Someone was in our room and took it. We locked the doors when we left and the only people to enter our room would have been owners/managers. I would have been fine if they would have called me to tell me they were entering our room and what they were doing, but the fact someone entered our room without notice is unacceptable.

location was great, lodge is beautiful, nicely stocked main kitchen.

didn’t know we were not in the main lodge. stayed in detached building with other people that had a big dog. doors weee squeaky and loud, shared bathroom was messy with other peoples personal teams. rooms were small and could hear all noises.

Beautiful Lodge, comfortable, felt like home. The Bull Moose blocking the road after dinner was a Bonus 🤩👍

I really liked spirit of this place. I felt like im in proper alaskan cabin and feeling was even better when i eneterd my room. I loved room itself, but bathroom was the pearl of entire stay.

Very quite and cozy place. The host prepared a lot of things in the refrigerator for our breakfast. Will come back again.

Quiet very nice house with full kitchen.

Everything. Location was great. Home was beautiful. Kitchen was supplied with top of line large and small appliances. Breakfast items were a large variety to suit every appetite. Bathrooms were like new. Excellent hot and cold water pressure and shower was easy to operate. Beds were comfortable and linens were very high quality. The pillows were very nice. All of the furnishings in the house were of great taste. The woodwork inside and out was beautiful especially the inside staircase and the wood inlays on the accent walls. The perfect balance between log cabin and Tahoe chalet.

No cable TV. Could not cast to the TV.
