This place was AMAZING!!! Mike and Diana are so welcoming, kind, and generous. The scenery, the quiet, and the overall, experience was awesome. We got to meet two of Mike and Diana's friends, who were very welcoming as well. The two dogs that Mike and Diana have are adorable too! We could not have asked for a better experience!!! Amazing place in the woods right on the bank of the Washougal river. Place is new and has all amenities and appliances, room was comfortable, vintage bath tub and great walk in shower. There's a huge hot tub outside with great view as well. Breakfast was really good, home made on the spot and delicious ! don't pass on the baked French toast, it's a MUST. On top of all, Mike and Diana are the best hosts ever, really nice people that we were fortunate to meet and get to know and enjoy their awesome house. p.s. some very good restaurants 20 min away, get recommendations from Mike & Dianna :)

This place is magical, I felt just like home! Diana and mike are such wonderful people, they make you feel welcomed and comfortable from the second you walk into their home. Mike is such an amazing cook! We really enjoyed our breakfast mornings (they have one of the best coffee) I was able to play with their sweet dogs and not to mention they have lots of cute chickens running around. Going to bed and waking up to the sound of the river was one of my favorite parts. They have a brand new jacuzzi that we were able to enjoy as soonest we got there after a long drive. Diana gave us some of her lavender products that smells soo amazing! Overall this trip was incredible and it was all thanks to this amazing place and people ! I recommend it 1000% Thank you Diana and Mike for having us ! I will be back again ❤️

Outstanding home, built by the owners (he has a construction company) to a standard beyond anything we have ever seen. Plumbing fittings were amazing, The shower was the best we have used. The homemade breakfast was custom planned to meet our allergy issues. Mike and Diane treated us as old friends and gave us fruit a lavender to ease our journey north. Overall the experience far exceeded our expectations and we would recommend a visit to anyone.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Delicious Farm to Table breakfast each morning! Property right on the Washougal River and we went to sleep with the gentle sound of flowing water. Just about 8-10 steps down from gated yard to dip your feet in the mountain fresh stream! Property featured fun and cute chickens and two friendly dogs. The house has MANY top quality features and lots of daylight through impressive windows. Woodwork was first class, and beds were comfy were beautiful antiques. Bathroom sinks and showers were amazing too! Beautifully decorated with nature themes throughout. Lavender field was a nice touch and a surprise sachet of dried lavender was a nice departing gift!

Pillows were firm. Perhaps offer a softer pillow choice in the closet for hard to please guests. Property is a great quiet getaway, but the distance was a bit farther than we anticipated from the main highway, so be ready for some winding mountain roads to access the lovely property. Not very close to town, so don't expect a 15 minute trip if you forgot something, but if you want to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting, this might be your ideal stay!

The setting and private deck were amazing. The room was large and comfortably decorated. Owners were friendly as well as the chickens. It was fun to have the chicken entertainment.

The place was fabulous. Beautiful. A Keurig in the room and a privacy curtain in the bathroom would have enhanced the stay. Two minor suggestions.

Out of the way location, rural. Beautiful setting. A creek in the back, chickens in the yard. Very large lot. Planning to expand the lavender farm and have begun putting in a vineyard. Quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was gluten free baked pancake just for me. The owners bent over backwards to please. I would like to go back and spend a week.

Angels Rest B&B and Lavender Farm was exactly the place my husband and I were looking for to get away, relax and celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed relaxing nature sounds along with a flowing mountain stream from our balcony and room. The mountain view and the backyard stream were awesome. It is a very clean and comfortable place with everything you need. Mike and Diana were very accommodating, helpful, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast each morning was superb. Mike & Diana shared some wonderful recommendations on where to eat, places to shop and sights to see. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home and wonderful property. Great shower, great bed, great breakfast. Really nice folks with a good attitude for their work. If you are in no hurry and are fine with finding a hidden gem in the country this is a beautiful one. If you need a quick to access location, you are probably going to stay in the city at a hotel or motel. Relax enjoy the drive and hospitality and beautiful scenery.

This is such a lovely place to stay! There are only 4 rooms making for an intimate experience. The owners built the home themselves and the craftsmanship is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning for a dinner with our children so they can chase the chickens and cool their feet in the river. Thank you, Mike and Diana!

Location was about 15 min. up the hill from WA State Hwy 14 which provides access east and west along the Columbia River. Room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious, updated and very clean and included both a tub and shower and two sinks. We had a private balcony overlooking the Washougal River and facing a beautiful hillside forest. Breakfast was remarkable and different each day. The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and provide any information we needed. We loved having the chickens and dogs around (the dogs were very lovable). The house provided many different areas to sit and read or write.

Everything from the food, to the environment, to the location, to the people was so much more than I expected! I absolutely loved staying here, and I know that I'll for sure stay there again if I'm back in the area!
