Disappointing stay: uncomfortable mattresses, inconvenient breakfast, lack of amenities, and non-functional spa.

Location

Bad quality mattress, the breakfast starting at 8.45am is just not realistic if you want to make the most out of your day for skiing. One mini fridge for 5 bedrooms! No small table or chair in the empty room. It’s supposed to make you want to eat and go to the shared areas but the rules or equipment aren’t really aimed towards that. Oh, I almost forgot the spa was out of order!

We enjoyed our stay, the main lounge area was lovely and well equipped.

The breakfast was very good, but would have liked juices, toast and preserves.

We felt the bedroom was a bit clinical and needed soft furnishings, there was no chair.

We love this place so much! Could not expect more! Wonderful host taking care of their guest not only during delicious breakfast but also in other situations. Very clean room, washroom, kitchen and surroundings. We have relaxed in this place perfectly and would definitely like to come back one day as there are also great activities to do like trekking, biking, skiing etc ☺️

Comfortable and convenient base to explore Revelstoke

Our stay at Arrows Edge Lodge was thoroughly enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent and set us up well for the day. Curtis was a helpful and friendly host, the lodge provided a comfortable and convenient base to explore Revelstoke. Highly recommended.

Brilliant place! Will definitely stay again!

Really lovely little Bed & Breakfast style place run by fellow Australians!! Was lovely to hear the familiar accent after being in the US for a while. The room was lovely, bed was comfy & the breakfast provided by the hosts was delicious. It is a little way out of town but that just makes it so peaceful in the mornings when you wake up with the quiet & views.

The room is not air conditioned so did get a little warm during the night despite having the fan on.

Great location with clean and comfortable room for a couple for a weekend stay. The common room was nice with access to a small fridge and conducive to meeting other guests. A cooked breakfast was appreciated before our long drive home. I would definately stay here again if I am lucky enough to visit in the future.

Host is friendly. Enjoyed sharing breakfast and visiting with other guests. Common room area was nice.

Bathroom and shower way too small. No a/c was an unpleasant surprise as was very smoky for sleeping with open windows. Breakfast choices would have been nice.

Simply Amazing! 10/10

Simply Amazing! We had a wonderful stay there. The rooms are big an bright, and the shared living room was very homey. Curtis & Michelle are great hosts with great tips on what to do in the region. The breakfast was amazing and as if that weren‘t enough the location of the lodge is idyllic yet not to far from the centre of Revelstoke, as well as the surrounding National Parks (Glacier and Mount Revelstoke NP).

Lovely stay in Revelstoke

I loved staying at Arrows Edge Lodge, host was super nice, caring and welcoming. Room was lovely and even had an air conditioner which was amazing with over 30 degrees outside. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. Location was very nice, close to a lovely lake and very quiet.

Clean spacious room with own ensuite in a B & B house with 4 other bedrooms and shared communal kitchen/dining

A bit far out of town so you need to drive for dinner etc Pebble driveway makes it a bit hard to wheel suitcases inside

A lodge in the woods

Parking was easy, friendly, helpful staff on-site, spacious rooms, expansive indoor & outdoor area overlooking forest environment, readily available coffee, tea and fridge, and delicious breakfast.

Entrance was tricky to spot due to foliage along the road. Although breakfast was delicious (Blueberry pancakes one day, frittata & fried potatoes the next) and a decent serve, there was no other choice, unless you gave 48 hrs notice of dietary restrictions. It's nearly 6km out of town, so a microwave to heat up dinner would have been useful instead of having to eat in town.

Beautiful modern property, each with private bathroom outside Revelstoke city limits

Property was lovely. One criticism was the very specific breakfast timing - for us it was 8:45 which we assumed meant all guests would be together. This was not the case, and in retrospect I would have preferred a choice of timing (earlier). The 2nd item was that the ad mentioned a full English breakfast - this usually entails bacon, eggs, toast etc. instead, we were given 3 pancakes and that was all - while they were good, this is hardly a sufficient breakfast for a B&B notably for outdoor enthusiasts. This left a slight bad flavour to an otherwise delightful stay.

What's not to love?

We really enjoyed how beautiful the guest area was - both the communal and private spaces. Modern and super-clean, light and airy, felt new and sparkly. Felt spoiled by the excellent home-made breakfast. Lots of conveniences - they've thought of everything - wine glasses, small fridge to share, dishes and utensils if you bring leftovers... even lent us the bear spray for our hikes! Local art, book collection, and local tourism info, too. Curtis was so helpful and attentive! We'll always remember this place when we look back on our first vacation without the kids - and will stay here again when we come back to Revelstoke!!!

It was the perfect accommodation for a couple of ski bums 😊

It was super clean in all areas, had comfortable rooms, breakfast was delicious, the property was beautiful and only 5 minutes from the ski hill
