Everything about this BnB is amazing! Not one thing to reproach! Every detail you can think of is included in this lovely, clean and well appointed home. Welcoming and feel right at home. Would need to go back to enjoy it even more. Breakfast was hands down better than most restaurants.

We stayed in the blue room, which is spacious, beautifully decorated with nautical/maritime themes, meticulously clean room, with a big ensuite bathroom (both shower and a spa bath), plus a king bed. The room also has a shared porch, with a part of it being a private balcony with a beautiful view, including 2 amazing horses. Also, we could do our laundry ourselves and free of charge. Every morning, we had a delicious breakfast and enjoyed the conversations with very, very friendly hosts. Host are very pleasant and helpful, but also discreet: they are there when you need them, but otherwise do not see them much during the day. The house is new and the whole properly is very nice. Plenty of restaurants 10min away in Sydney. Very good location for visiting Louisburg Fortress (a MUST see!), Highland Village (and the Bras D'Or Lake / Biosphere), and the Two Rivers Wild Park. We travel a looooooot, and this is one of the top 5 B&B accommodations we've ever been to.

Dolores and her søn are great hosts. The house is beautiful, the room spacious and clean The wine and water in The fridge thank you Dolores we appreciated it was a nice surprise. The breakfast was royal It was quite peaceful that the hosts were so discreet. The view was amazing .everything was perfect .I highly recommend the place

Delores was an excellent host. She was very accomodating. She even let us feed the horses. The breakfast was wonderful. The bottle of wine and the toiletries were a nice touch.

Very cozy home, well thought out amenities in terms of guest comfort. Had even the smallest things available if you forgot to bring anything along. Good location, and as a bonus it had horses on site!

Greg and Delores are incredibly hospitable and kind. There were several custom touches to the stay that showed they have traveled and understand little comforts and needs that folks on the road would appreciate!

Very clean and friendly atmosphere! Bedroom was comfortable and the homemade breakfast was delicious.

I honestly have no complaints and will most definitely staying here again the next time I'm in town.

What a delight to find this awesome Bed & Breakfast. We truly were welcomed into Dolores' home with open arms. We had a wonderful huge room and everything seemed completely new. Our room was filled with lots of little surprises, little gifts which made us feel very special. We have to admit that the bed was (by far) the most comfy we've had on this 3 week trip. And our breakfast was a gourmet event - we got to watch Dolores cook it in front of our eyes - the best omelet I've ever had, for starters. I could go on forever!

Dolores is a gift that keeps on giving. The place was decorated for Halloween adding that whimsical touch during our stay. Her warmth and generosity made us feel very much at home. The complimentary gift of toiletries and bottle of wine was such a pleasant surprise and a luxury we certainly weren't expecting! The bed was oh... so very comfy. Breakfast was superb and delicious! She went above and beyond as attentive hostess to make us feel very special. We'll definitely be coming back when we visit Cape Breton again! Thank you so much! 💝 Michelle and Kirt

Only disappointment was distance from airport. We thought it was close so returned our car rental and planned to cab to airport. 30.00 from Sydney to BB, 30.00 from BB to airport. Our fault as I should have checked.

Bathroom was a bit far from the bedroom - although we knew it was not ensuite. Perhaps an offer or recommendation to upgrade at booking if available would've been good.

Everything. The extra touches in the room were so appreciated from the towel warmer, to the wine, the slippers, just everything. The quiet country air. The sound of the horse snorts and the frogs talking to each other at night. Friendly and helpful hosts. Opportunity to do laundry!
