I really enjoyed my stay. Pat was very nice, always checked to make sure we were doing well and the food was delicious.

It’s a very comfortable home! Very well kept and looks beautiful for it’s age.

I don’t have any complaints about the property. Yes, it is an old house so it won’t have built in AC or heating, but the ceiling fans and mini heater available and ready to use in the room’s closet do justice.

Feeling at home.

The host is very friendly and helps wherever possible. The breakfast is extraordinary for a small bed&breakfast: big variety for every taste and of high quality. The kitchen facilities are open for the guests, you can store some food in the fridge and heat it in the microwave. A big living room with all necessary equipment to hang out.

The furnitures are old and the building is light-hearted. No central heater, only fan heater. The water of the shower is not very hot and takes a long time to come.

we booking for our first anniversary the location was great easy access to walk to the beach feels like you are home Pat was very friendly breakfast was plenty and good if you want a different experience besides common hotel this is your place to stay plus the place was organized and clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Inn was lovely. Very comfortable and beautifully presented. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The location was handy to shops and the beach. Pat was lovely and very helpful. We highly recommend Beachrunners Inn and plan to stay again soon.

Like staying at a good friend’s house

Beachrunners is an absolutely beautiful cottage a stone’s throw from the beach. The owner keeps it spotlessly clean and in excellent nick. The room was like staying in a good friend’s guest room: beautiful, comfortable, bed and pillows were great. The breakfast was fresh and lovely. Beachrunner is a true gem and if ever I’m in Long Beach again, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else!

Pleasant

Breakfast coffee and breakfast were great! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

Biggest problem was that it was not air conditioned which we did not expect. There were ceiling fans but it was hot! Shower had low water pressure. TV was very basic and dated. They could upgrade to a smart TV. Back patio area could have been much nicer with upgraded furniture.

We will recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

We enjoyed our time in this lovely home! Patricia is so welcoming and sweet. We enjoyed her lovely homemade breakfast and conversations with her. Our room was clean, comfortable and had its own bathroom. The home had nice common areas and a lovely garden in the back. We will visit again, I’m sure!

Stay here, if you're at Long Beach - you won't regret it

Beachrunners Inn was our last stop at the end of a four-week-roadtrip with multiple accommodations - and it was by far the best of them: Starting with the warm welcome by Pat, the delicious breakfast, the beautiful and exceptionally clean house, comfortable bed and the peaceful backyard. We really felt at home at this classical B&B, which is situated very conveniently to explore the relaxed and creative neighborhood. If you're a runner you'll enjoy the nearby beach promenade. Also: Parking is included which comes in very handy due to the parking situation in this area. Can't say enough good things about Beachrunners Inn except that we want to come back: Stay here, if you're at Long Beach!

clean, close to local restaurants, bars and clubs

no air conditioner. hot in room even when windows are down. don’t go in summer months you will die. bed is to small for a couple. it was a full bed. no light in shower so it was dark.!

EVERYTHING!!!! It was the most perfect vacation getaway. The comforts of home at your favorite relatives home was right there at Beachrunners Inn in Long Beach. The atmosphere from the very start was warm, inviting, congenial, and relaxing. Breakfast was freshly prepared, complete, and delicious. I methodically examined my beautiful omelet in hopes of replication in my own home. The breakfast dining arrangement looked like a magazine photo from Better Homes and Garden. Im still kicking myself for not taking a picture! My stay was an absolute dream that is difficult waking up from! I didn't, and still do not want to wake up to the reality of being back in Texas. I will definitely return SOON and stay longer.

Leaving!! I'm a native liberal Californian living in the conservative harsh environment of southeast Texas. This was my first trip back to my native land, for vacation, in over 25 years. OHHH!! How I do miss Cali. My home sweet home. I can truly stand tall on the roof of the Alamo and shout, I'm not an oddball, I'm a displaced NATIVE CALIFORNIAN.

Perfect place for my 2 night stay, got to enjoy the beach and retreat to a quiet space for rest

Perfect location to the beach. Definitely a plus nit to worry about the first meal of the day. Snacks we and water were available and accessible as needed!

Great location close to the beach and parks in a nice neighbourhood.

Pat was very welcoming and breakfast totally adequate. Home is a very classic Craftsman style.

Wi-fi reception a little spotty. Difficulty with key opening room door - took several attempts before it engaged.

Lovely Location

We loved the location of Beachrunners Inn. The staff were friendly. We walked to the beach and the nearby restaurant & Irish Bar was very fun. It was a hot day when we arrived, but there were cold bottles of water available for us to take on our walk to the beach, which helped so much! Also our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Loved the ceiling fan and the comfy bed. The host let us leave our bags at the Inn until later in the afternoon, which helped us out a lot.

The breakfast was served from 7-9am and when my husband got downstairs around 8:45 it was already made and the egg & toast was dried out. The mixed fruit dish was great. The coffee ended at 9am and we didn't leave until 11:00. Would have liked more coffee but didn't see anyone to ask about getting more. The outside sitting area was nice, but looked like it was being worked on while we were there.

Lovely short overnight stay

The location to the beach and restaurants was very good. Bed was comfortable and staff super nice and sweet as well as accommodating. Easy drop off and pick up for our Uber drivers. Breakfast was good and I enjoyed having a small snack and coffee via Keurig available to us during the day. Appreciated the extra little usb charger available on the chest of drawers.

No ac in our room. I forgot to check to confirm whether or not there was ac. Our room was next to a very busy and noisy street so having the windows open was not good. During the evening the noise was a lot less There was a pleasant breeze blowing through the windows and we were tired enough we made it work in the evening. Room and Bed we were in was on the small side. But I think there are larger accomodations available for a different price point than what we paid. The shower was much smaller than what we are used to. But not necessarily a "deal breaker" for most people I don't think. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Wonderful experience.

The Inn is a great place to stay. Each morning there is an amazing breakfast and a short two block walk to The beach. The owners, Pat and Courtney, are gracious hosts. Booked a second trip already.

Being a B&B, this is literally a home in a beautiful little neighborhood. Pat, the innkeeper, was such an amazing hostess. She was personable and her breakfast was lovely. The rooms were homey and comfortable. I would highly recommend Beachrunner Inn to anyone.

Parking is difficult if you don't know where you are going. Very little street access, and their lot is kind of hidden if you haven't gotten the info from Pat.
