We are accustomed to somewhat sterile Airbnbs and were blown away with our experience at the Holidae House! It is clear John and Jeanette love what they do and they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. The property itself is quaint, charming, and impeccably clean. We can't wait to come back!

Everything was perfect John is so knowledgeable about the area for eating out and explaining how everything at the Inn works. Jeanette cooks the most amazing Breakfast that you will never forget. And they also have fresh baked cookies every night. I would definitely recommend staying at this Victorian Inn it is spotless and very well kept up.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation right in the heart of beautiful Bethel. John and Jeanette were so friendly and helpful. We felt right at home. There were some delicious home-made brownies waiting for all the guests and we appreciated this very much, particularly after such a long drive up from Boston. Fabulous breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent shower. Complimentary toiletries. Very comfortable bed. Large room. Right in the centre of Bethel. Close to the supermarket and wonderful restaurants. Close to the museum. Easy parking. Would gladly stay there again. Thanks so much, John and Jeanette.

I give up on the breakfast part in most B&Bs. Frozen processed breakfast food heated or microwaved. Terrible!
Real food. How about some scrabbled eggs, home fries and a breakfast meat. Simple!

We so enjoyed staying here. And John and Jan were incredible hosts. She is a great cook with a delicious made from scratch breakfast each morning. And a fresh baked goody in the middle of the day like brownies and cookies. John quite the historian and also told us of places to go within Bethel.
