Convenient.

Location was great for accessing the airport with ease. A few restaurants in a nearby plaza.

There were some animals -that were making a racket in the ceiling - which kept us awake at night.

Accommodation was not usable due to no electric power - see below.

Two big problems with this place. First, this was advertised as a Two-Bedroom Apartment – ‘more privacy, more space and a home away from home that's all yours’ according to the ad. This is NOT an apartment – it is 2 bedrooms in the owner’s private house, sharing his living space and kitchen (not too tidy and who knows how clean). I do not wish to share my living space with a stranger and if I had known beforehand I would have booked elsewhere. Second, when I arrived at 3 pm the ‘apartment’ was not usable as there was no electric power (not uncommon, apparently). So I could not shower or have a cup of tea. At 6 pm it was dark and there was still no power so I had to find other accommodation. The owner did not offer any compensation for this huge inconvenience and is still trying to make me pay the full amount.

very convenient to San Jose airport, awesome owner!

the owner is so kind! the property is very close to the airport (5 minutes) so we stayed here our last night in Costa Rica to make our trip home easier. the house is very nice, modern facilities and we had a great breakfast as well. beautiful garden and view of golf course.

The AC was weak and only in one bedroom - the owner says you don’t need it here (and he’s probably right) but we are spoiled Americans and like to sleep in the AC lol

Exceptional

Beautiful and well designed accommodation. So peaceful and quiet. We slept ever so well. The Italian owner even made us breakfast in the middle of the night as we had to leave early for our flight. Thanks again!

It was all great. Only wanted to add that we couldn't find it straight away as there is no big sign and it looks like a private big house. It is on the right side at the end of the street (dead end).

owner stays on property and is extremely accommodating and has excellent continental breakfast available as well as dinn

very relaxing and comfortable setting and great safe location near airports the beds were very comfortable owner and staff very friendly and accommodating

the way the property is designed it uses cross ventilation from opening windows and doors and works excellent for climate control heat and air conditioning are not needed this can allow bugs in but there were almost none so be aware you might not be used to this but works very well and is environmentally smart, in the evening close up all the windows and no bugs

Exceptional

Pierro is a great host. The location is very close to the airport. We planned to stay here only on our last day so we'd be close to the airport - but ended up staying more days. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. We also met other interesting people. We really enjoyed this place!

The location was excellent close to shops and public transport. The room was very spacious and clean and the beds are out of this world. King size and the matrass will make you sleep like a log. Mr. Piero is the best host you can think of, he will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. Piero prepares an delicious breakfast with a lot fresh fruits and a tasty coffee. For sure we will return here again and I highly recommend it to other people to stay here whenever in San Jose, Cost Rica

Superb

Small place in a nice location which is in fact a private home with a few guest rooms. Piero, the owner, is a very helpful guy (but a minimum command of Spanish or Italian is of advantage). 3min walk to bus stop where buses to San Jose city centre (15min) or the Airport SJO (10min) pass by. Nice garden with open gate to large Golf area. Very convenient for first/last night after/before flight. Breakfast was also perfect!

Very comforting

The location and logistics were great. The atmosphere and architecture was comforting. Mr. Piori went out of his way to please us and makes us feel at home. He was caring and pleasant. I liked his ways and the way he treated us. En Even when things were not readily available.

Perfect start to our stay in Costa Rica

Here you are renting a private room in a detached property right on the golf course. You won't find a more hospitable and welcoming host than Eli - she is just lovely and speaks Spanish, English and even Chinese. We extended our stay because she made us feel so much at home.

A wonderful place to stay, and practice your Italian..... Very accomodating host!

Pietro, the host, will go out of his way to ensure you are comfortable and will have a breakfast that you desire. This was my second time staying here, and he remembered that i had recommended him to buy some fans for the rooms, which he did. Everything was great.

Everything was fantastic.
