The room was very cold A heater would help

No breakfast provided, but shared kitchen with equipment where u can cook your own meals with own bought ingredients. A very homely feel, our bedroom overlooks a beautiful and wellkept garden , an amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle, placed in a posh area of Nairobi. Clean bedrooms with mosquito nets and all basic facilities provided, like kettle, tea bags, sugar, refrigerator, tv, plenty of storage etc, overall peaceful and satisfied vibes

We had to lock the gateway and main door of the guesthouse ourselves which was a bit tedious as we had one key only and all of us left at different times. The gateperson usually wasn't present and the key was very hard to use(wouldn't open the lock) . The living room (part reception area) was always quiet and it didnt feel very comfortable (maybe it's just because we are used to the usual crowd of staff in hotel reception area). The water pump did not work for us at 5.30 am and we had to make use of very slow running water at that timing.

A serene and private setting. Henk is such a friendly manager. He went out of his way to make our stay great.

The owner, Henk, was very helpful with advice about how to get around and was always ready to answer any questions I had. The house is lovely and the bed was super comfortable. Guests can use the kitchen, which is a nice option if you don't feel like going out all the time. There is a nice shopping mall nearby (about 20-30 minutes walking). The wifi connection was excellent.
