Günstig Unterkunft und nettes Personal. Zimmereinrichtung ok. Insgesamt sehr einfach aber ok.

Estancia perfecta en Monteverde

Es un hotel pequeñito, regentado por una familia encantadora que nos ha hecho sentir como en casa. Los dueños son encantadores y te ayudan a preparar excursiones, solventar dudas y todo lo que necesites!! El desayuno es casero 100% y preparado en el momento. De verdad que para lo que necesitábamos para nuestras vacaciones, nos ha parecido estupendo!! La ubicación es perfecta, a un minuto en coche de Santa Elena, con un supermercado al lado, una hamburguesería (hamburguesas caseras incluyendo el pan, merece la pena probar!!) y un restaurante (también buenísimo!!) pegado, no es necesario mover el coche. Un saludo grande a Nancy, a Mauricio y a sus hijas, les deseamos lo mejor de lo mejor!! Esperamos volver a visitaros muy pronto!!!!

Nice stay

Nice rural property in close driving distance to town. Had great complete breakfast options to get your day started. Comfortable and quiet at night versus staying in the noisy town area. The young couple owners were extremely helpful in recommending tours when we asked them for their support. They made good recommendations that kept us away from the overcrowded tourist tours and sent us to locations with smaller groups and better experiences. Lots of birds on property.

Just FYI. They are finishing up some new units on the property so this may not be ideal if you wanted to hang out in the hammocks outside all day hoping for complete silence. However, if you visit Santa Elena, then you are probably going to be in the cloud forest, nature forest, or on some type of adventure tour during the day and not be bothered by this in the least. I actually think it will be a really nice property when fully completed.

Ich komme gerne wieder

Nafre House ist ein Familiengeführtes Gasthaus. Die ganze Familie ist sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker.

Fijne relaxte plek in het verder drukke Monteverde

Heel vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen, handige locatie als je met de auto bent, mooie tuin met fijne hangmatten en lekkere stoelen.

Het uitzicht vanaf onze kamer was op een bouwplaats, dat was wat minder gezellig. Overigens geen geluidsoverlast van gehad.

We arrived 2.30 minutes earlier then check in , the place is not what it says it is ,.a small hot small lot with hardly any rooms , the room we booked was a triple it was so small and hot , the breakfast area was minimal and it was very badly designed in general for over 100 dollars , we called a telephone number which was a UK number the man was rude and said he didn't know why I had his number , we asked for a partial refund and they refused , I'll be contacting bookings.com and my bank for a refund a d after this will not use bookings.com again as they gave no idea who they partner with,.I tried to call bookings.com and there would not answer in the Costa Rica office , this hotel was too expensive and their policy is fraudulant , I'll be getting legal advice ., A total rip off

Great quiet place 5 minutes from busy downtown Santa Elena!

First of all, it is dog friendly. The breakfast is included. We opted for the tipico breakfast, which included gallo pinto, eggs, bread, sweet plantains, sour cream, fresh cheese, and salchichon, which is a type of Kielbasa. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about different tours available in the area. The grouds were very nice. They even have a fire pit with chairs. Bathrooms and rooms were very clean. We stayed in room 5, which has 2 beds. And our 2 small dogs liked it too.

Beds were a little too hard for my liking, but my husband didn't have a problem with them.

Lovely stay

Run by a lovely family who looked after us really well! Thank you for all the tour advice. Good breakfast and very clean. In a quiet and safe area.

I'd probably add some better lightening to the rooms . We slept well but the bed was rather firm.

I loved the family owned business.

The staff bent over backwards accommodating our every need. The family run business has a daughter who can speak English, otherwise it’s Spanish. The property is close to all the tourist attractions. It cost 2000 Colon to take a taxi from Monteverdi Central to Nafre House. The taxis sit outside the Treehouse Restaurant in Monteverdi Central so it is very easy to catch a cab from downtown. The owner arranged all our tours for us and the transfer from Liberia airport to Nafre House and then the transfer from Monteverdi to Tamarindo at a lower price than what we could fine. The accommodations were very reasonably priced for the area and the location was quiet. It is just far enough away from the noisy downtown yet close enough to all the restaurants. it’s

The wind was so ferocious while we were there that it sounded like the roof was going to blow off. It is chilly in the room at night at the end of January. We had a hard time figuring out how to get warm water for our shower. The family showed us how to get warm ( not hot) water for the shower. It is a warm water on demand system over the shower head. It is was very interesting system to conserve energy. It is a very difficult region to get all the luxuries that we are use to in Canada.

We booked the room for two nights but only stay one night. It's a good location. Easy to access the town by car. The reception was ok but quite slow. The room basically is clean but hardly says comfort. Especially can't understand the design of the bathroom. You hardly can raise your head in front of the basin. Wi-Fi is good but the room is dim. Can't even read anything. The room is extremely noisy. you can clearly hear your neighbor's every single word. Unluckily our neighbor's kids fight each other and their parents yell at them till midnight. A terrible night. We escape immediately the next morning.

The experience there was as expected, people were kindness and provide all info that we need to enjoy the best places in Monteverde, the brekfast was delicous and all was so clean on our room, I recomend this place and I would like to visit it again.
