Beautiful riad and lovely, attentive staff!

My daughter and I traveled to Morocco for the first time and decided to stay in riads rather than hotels most of the time. We flew into Casablanca from Miami and then took a private transfer to Rabat. Our driver called the riad and let them know the approximate time of arrival and the riad sent someone to retrieve us and our luggage. The riad was perfectly located on the edge of the Medina so that we could come and go as we pleased while shopping and sightseeing on our own. Sena, our hostess for the 2 days was very accommodating making sure that we were comfortable and well fed. She served us hot Moroccan mint tea and cookies upon our arrival. Breakfast was a smorgasbord of breads, pancakes, boiled eggs, pastries, fruit salad, fresh squeezed juice, yogurt, coffee and hot tea. Riad Kalaa 2 is a lovely small guest house with beautifully appointed rooms and private baths. All rooms had high ceilings, large ornately carved wood doors, exquisite light fixtures, and bedding. Everything was immaculately clean. Breakfast and our afternoon/evening tea was served in the open courtyard. Sena and the rest of the staff made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely return to Riad Kalaa 2 in Rabat again!

in Medina where negotiating small barrow lane with baggage in your hand is not easy. nearest car park is 300 meters away. not for people traveling with a lot of luggage.

Very good

Breakfast was basic but nice. Everything was well made and quick service. The workers at the Riad were very good. Always help with any request , very helpful and always available.

Disappointing

The staff were super friendly especially Sanaa, she did more than her effort. Generally the riad is clean en calm located in the heart of medina.

The smell of sanitary pipes and ants. Deception of rooms en pictures does not match the right category..

Beautiful Riad and nice staff. Unfortunately it gets really noisy in the morning so that sleeping longer than 08.30 am is nearly impossible..

Very nice trip

We were a group of 12 friends. We really like the situation of the Riad, next to the market. The place itself it's incredible, rooms are big enough and the pool makes the difference. Breakfast it's so good and we have to make a mention to the people working there. They are so nice.

Great location. The staff is nice. They booked a very good guide for us. Good breakfast Also, they have beer !! (but no peanuts)

No hot water during the day unless you ask for it. With the room price, you expect to be able to take a hot shower at 6:30pm after a long walking day. In the bathroom, the shower head was to be replaced since couple of months. Also, we booked the transfer to Casablanca airport with the hotel (70eur) and instead of getting a normal "tourist vehicle", we had a kind of Kangoo/Berlingo/Express which was noisy and not much comfortable. Small details but it is really a nice place.

The location is excellent, right in a great part of the old medina. The staff is amazing, giving the best local recommendations and can help plan out your days no matter your interests. I will 100% recommend this to anyone I know traveling to Rabat.
