We had a wonderful time and loved out stay. They treated us well.

Loved the location, staff, unique common areas, the hospitality, breakfast, tea and dessert.,

We think the outdoors - patio, walkway, garden, gazebo area could use a little more upkeep. Bed not so great.

Southern Hospitality at its finest!

The staff really make this place special! Kennedy is such an amazingly kind and sweet host! When we checked-in, she showed us to our room, helped us with our luggage, and then led us back to the main dining room area where she offered us an evening port wine and chocolate mousse cake which was such a treat after a long drive from DC! We mentioned that it was our anniversary weekend, and they included a personalized card in our room that wished us a happy 15th anniversary. It really made my day :) The breakfast was wonderful. We enjoyed breakfast in the main dining room the first morning and I had the blueberry French toast, which was excellent. The next morning we ate breakfast under the pergola complete with shrimp and grits and lemon ricotta pancakes. The young lady working the reception during the day was also really kind and helpful and prepared two bikes for us to take out for the day which was such a memorable way to scope out Savannah. Hands down, my favorite part of the trip! We then hopped in the car and went to check out Tybee Island and she set us up with beach towels and waters. Lastly, if you request turn down service, they leave yummy cookies in your room!

It’s hard to say anything negative because the good was great and far outweighed anything negative. I would say that I noticed that the baseboards in my bathroom were a bit dusty so that was a tad off putting. The parking situation was good in that it was free, but there is limited parking for guests at the back of the house, and my husband didn’t really like handing over his keys so that they could move cars around as needed.

Great stay in a historic home.

This was a great place. Beautiful building. Good location. Close to one of the main parks in Savannah. Staff was also really good. And our particular room was amazing. We had a walk in shower, king bed, big tub, and a working fireplace.

The parking situation isn't the most amazing. You have to give them your keys, and they kind of move cars around. But I could leave my car there and walk around the city. The walls are maybe a little thin. But it's a older house. And our bathroom had a leaky shower. But overall, very minor things, and our stay was amazing.

Historic Grand Gastonian

Terrific, cozy b/b within a 10-15 min walk of the waterfront on a beautiful, residential street that was popping with Spring colors of pink, white and fuchsia azaleas. This is an old brownstone property that takes you back in time with elegant furnishings, fireplaces, comfy beds and towering armoires. My room (104) had a huge whirlpool spa, sitting area and giant bed with white cotton matalasse blankets and very lovely pillows!

Beautiful stay in a beautiful part of Savannah

We loved the location The breakfast was fantastic. Loved the extra touches, like dessert in the evening. All the staff was exceptional, bust most especially the kitchen staff. We were traveling with my wife's elderly parents (89 and 87) and the staff did a lot to show their care and make them comfortable.

We loved it all.

PERFECT.

Breakfast was always of great quality and had sufficient options. Gastonian location perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Staff at Gastonian friendly and helpful. Only place we stay when visiting Savannah.

Parking on premises limited, but there was street parking available.

Felt pampered and cared for:)

Breakfast was lovely and appreciated having room service option. Location was good, not central but in a quiet, quaint neighborhood.

Felt like the amenities fee was unnecessary given the nightly rate. There is no pool, hot tub or other amenities.

Wonderful southern hospitality in a beautiful historic home!

Beautiful historic home right off Forsythe Square! Checkin was a breeze and the staff were kind, courteous and very knowledgeable. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfasts were amazing- generous portions and very good. Cocktails and tapas were great and dessert was tasty. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and southern hospitality!

The blow dryer in my room was missing. I tried calling the front desk twice and no answer (middle of the afternoon). My husband walked down and they had to locate one. Just would suggest that housekeeping check the room on turnover for things like this. Also, the wallpaper in our bathroom was curling at the bottom and needs to be repaired.

Drop back into tge past at tge Gastonian Innn.

Perfect location, very walkable to all area highlights.Lovely quiet inn.staff very helpful n poltite.

We had the garden room, which was lovely n very private.because of the historic status the inn has , we realize all upgrades must meet a standard. The shower was unruly n the water created a mess on the wood floor by the window. They should add tile to that side of the antique tub.

Romantic, relaxing and awesome!

The staff was amazing! everyone we encountered was so pleasant and all smiles. I have never been to an inn that was so relaxing and enjoyable. We had a picnic in the park arranged by Courtney and Caitlin and they made it the best day we ever had on vacation!

I had to go home after my stay.

Loved the Gastonian will definitely stay there again if I come back to Savannah.

The breakfast was great. The staff was exceptional! So helpful and polite.

The shower head was unpleasant. To thin a stream so it felt Piercing on the skin.
