a rejuvenating getaway on the west coast

it was a magical oasis! stunning property, beautifully landscaped, trails to explore, lounge by the pool and soak in the relaxing Salt spring vibes…the hosts are amazing and the food is farm to table and so delicious! thank you for having me:)

A peaceful and relaxing night stay at the charming Wetherly Inn

We were warmly greeted when we arrived by the manager Stephanie who showed us around and told us everything we need to know about the beautiful property. The grounds of the Wetherly Inn are incredible, the house is like like nothing I have ever stayed in before. The rooms are bright and very clean with a balcony overlooking the garden. It is a total oasis and I loved every minute of it!

Incredible property and experience

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful! The grounds were stunning and we really enjoyed lounging at the pool and playing around in the games room. Stephanie was an amazing host. This place is a true gem and much more special/unique than most hotels we have stayed at. We will definitely be back next year!

The wifi signal was not very strong, particularly outside the house on the grounds. Not a huge deal but it made it a bit challenging when trying to look up information about restaurants and other tourist attractions for planning purposes (the LTE network on Saltspring was not reliable/responsive).

Cleanest, most thoughtful place I have EVER stayed at throughout my North America and Europe travels

Amazing!!! They thought of everything! From the yummy breakfast to the smallest things that you might need during your stay away from home (including umbrellas by the door in case of rain! ) Very, very clean! I'm a bit of a clean freak and I personally do not take baths in hotel/motel/B&B's bathtubs. Here I did. It was that clean. :-) The surroundings, the gardens, the pool and hot tub, all an open invitation to relax and forget all your troubles. So glad we chose this place. We had originally booked another accommodation bc of price, but the pool was the deciding factor. So glad we went for the pool. We got so much more than a pool! Yes, a bit on the expensive side, but well worth the extra couple of hundred dollars !

Ummm...... I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like.

Perfect spot! What a find!

Absolutely loved this accommodation! We stayed in the cottage (4 of us). It was darling! And we were off on our own with our own deck and chairs by the pond! The grounds are phenomenal...a true English Country Garden. Due to Covid we were almost alone at Wetherly and often had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. It was a short walk to do one of the hikes we had planned: Maxwell Mountain. The proximity was a bonus. The staff were discreet but always available and so very welcoming and accommodating. Loved the added touch of water and sparkling drinks at the pool and for our use otherwise as well. Everything is well looked after here, and very nicely appointed. There was nothing we were without in the cottage; it was so well stocked! We could not have hoped for a better place to unwind and enjoy the laidback vibe of Saltspring. The location is also perfect to get anywhere on the Island. It is not waterfront. It was not missed because the grounds are so enchanting! We will be back!

The only thing I can think of is that the table in the cottage and the one on the deck are a little small for 4 adults but overall it really was not a big concern!

Exceptional

What a beautiful property! Nice outdoor pool and hot tub, and lovely gardens to stroll through! We sat on a deck on the pond and thought it couldn’t be prettier. Only about 15 minutes in to Ganges and close to several wineries.
