Situated in Stowe, this attractive cabin for $175 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Goldilocks cabin is a cozy retreat for a romantic getaway, and perfect for small families as well. The cabin is located on Stowe Hollow Road, a residential area of widely spaced lots, just 1 mile from Stowe village, eight miles to Mt. Mansfield and skiing, and just a few miles to the Pinnacle, one of the most spectacular hikes in Vermont. So, if you are looking for a secluded cabin in the woods, Goldilocks may not be your best choice, but if you want a charming and unique, conveniently located cabin, which is easily accessible in all weather conditions, Goldilocks is for you. Goldilocks is well appointed with Black Forest and French antiques, and antler chandeliers--the perfect combination of rustic and luxury. The piping hot wood stove and the chiming cuckoo clock make this cabin a cozy retreat after a day of hiking or skiing. The large master bedroom has an antique four poster bed, complete with a sumptuous mattress, and a alcove with a desk. The sleeping loft (a favorite of older children) is accessed by a ladder and has a full size bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room, as well. The cabin has two decks a gas barbecue, and a fire pit. Goldilocks is pet-friendly. Well behaved, approved pets are always welcome. Guests often mention our attention to detail as one of the many reasons this cabin exceeded their expectations. Goldilocks cabin is just right. Amenities: Wifi, well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker and a gas stove. Dining area seats 6. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Wood stove. Television. CD player, VCR. Two decks, barbecue,and mud room for ski storage. Approved pets OK. Will consider 2 night stays mid-week. Please inquire. Activities: Minutes from skiing, miles of snow-shoeing, and cross country skiing, biking, hiking, fishing. Close to town and shopping. Six restaurants within a two mile drive. Great antiquing around Stowe, Farmer's market. Burlington is a 35 mile drive. Area: One mile from Stowe village. On 4 acres. Close to shopping, restaurants, hiking, skiing. In Stowe Hollow. A residential neighborhood of widely spaced lots.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in the Fall. We loved how it was so close to downtown Stowe but not right in town The decor of the cabin was very charming we loved the attention to detail that the owner used in decorating. It felt very cozy. We look forward to another stay in the future.

Jill's Goldilocks Cabin is very well situated, a short drive to many awesome hikes, including Mt Mansfield as well as Burlington. The cabin itself was nice and cozy, with plenty of space to relax and unwind.

Staying at the Goldilocks Cabin was an absolute dream! It's such a beautiful and relaxing space in the middle of the forest. It's also super conveniently close to Stowe and the Waterbury Center State Park. We had such a wonderful cozy week at the cabin and enjoyed dining out on the patio as well as laying in the hammock outside. Jill is such a kind, helpful and responsive host. Thank you so much for this amazing experience! :)

If you check out the Goldilocks website- it’s exactly as stated. It is off a fast street windy street, no sidewalks but you need a car to get around Stowe anyhow. Us NYC folks enjoyed the quiet & remote surroundings of the cabin. Lots to see inside so we were off our cell phones & really enjoyed the visual decors. Thank you for the board games!

My partner and I stayed for a long weekend at the end of the winter season and were dazzled by the charm and decor this place offered. It had everything we needed to enjoy and relax including a wood stove. There was always something new to discover in every nook & cranny. Like Goldilocks, you have to be a bit curious and snoop around to find all of the amenities tucked away in cabinets and drawers. Jill was a wonderful host and checked in on us via message the day after we arrived to check that we were all set, and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this Vrbo for a couple or family with 1 or 2 children who can climb into the tall loft.

When my wife and I arrived at Goldilocks Cabin, we stepped through the doorway and found ourselves in a delightful, storybook setting with all of the modern conveniences! The cabin is absolutely adorable and much larger than it appears in the pictures. We enjoyed making breakfast and a few dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. The dinning room table was the perfect gathering place for board games. The wood stove kept the main room toasty warm and was much appreciated after a day of skiing at Stowe. Jill thoughtfully checked in by message to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything is well laid out and there were helpful instructions for things like TV/cable box and the wood stove. We hope to go back again next year.

Jill is a fantastic host and very responsive to questions. Her property is even better than the pictures! The cabin is just a couple minutes from Stowe Village and a short drive to Mount Mansfield. It is perfect for a couple or young family. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Quaint, cabin that makes you feel like you're in another world. Perfect timing for us as it snowed throughout our stay. All the amenities you need and more. Perfect location, 1 mile from downtown Stowe and a short drive to other towns such as Burlington and Montpelier. Jill the host, was quick to respond and checked in on us during the snow.
