Cottage #6 at Storm Mountain is a newer handcrafted log and rock cabin nestled in a beautiful meadow on Spring Creek. The cabin is situated right next to Spring Creek. Guests of this cottage will enjoy the creek frontage view right from the hot tub. The cabin features a full spacious kitchen with breakfast bar, loft, great room and patio with picnic table, Hot tub and barbecue grill. Conveniently located in the Heart of Hills just one mile from Hill City. We are in close proximity to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and an excellent variety of restaurants, wineries, breweries and shopping nearby. Cabin is across the highway from China Gulch Road giving easy access to many ATV/UTV/Snowmobile trails, Bedroom 1: 1 King on main level Bedroom 2: 1 Queen on second floor Loft Area: 1 Queen and a Full size Futon Additional sleeping: 1 Queen sofa sleeper in great room Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms Bathroom 1: tub/shower combination (main level) Master bathroom: Jacuzzi tub/shower combo Gas fireplace in great room. My family (me, hubby and 9yo daughter) had a great week in the cabin. The cabin is beautiful, spacious and very well stocked. We had everything we needed for a week’s stay. Love that it is centrally located to just about everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again if we’re out this way and will recommend to friends/family. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

This place was fantastic. The description was perfect. Beds very comfortable and large bathrooms. Central to all sites- Mt Rushmore;Custer State Park; crazy horse; and even the Badlands. Home was very well equiped and so cozy. Lots of room for everyone. Outside was so pretty next to a creek. We appreciated all the info in the welcome booklet. We are planning our return.

The owners, Bridget & Randy, have a beautiful cottage near Hill City. We loved the place. It was so clean. It was beautifully decorated. They have thought of everything. It is close to Hil City but out far enough to see the wildlife. We got to check in early which was a huge bonus. We highly recommend this rental and plan to visit it again soon.

My wife and I took my MIL and her aunt and uncle (from SoCal) to the black hills. Both had seeing Mount Rushmore as Bucket List place to see. Your property made our experience even better. The location is ideal! Hill City is a classic black hills town. Great restaurants and bars helped, that’s for sure! The cabin was clean, spacious and a great home base. The communication with the owners was timely and polite. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this property. Thanks!!

We have previously stayed at Storm Mtn 2x, always satisfied because the homes are beautiful but always envious because this rental was always rented & it does have the most unobstructed private view
House immaculate & very comfortable & spacious. Hot tub outstanding. Dealing with Bridget was a pleasure. She & Randy truly wanted us to be comfortable. Kitchen made cooking meals easy. Nice decor, bedding & furniture. Neighbor Doug always a pleasure & a great help. We had met him previously. If u need a local map or info visit Doug, 3rd cabin on the left (resident). Anyway, u will most definitely not be disappointed. Delightful home to return to after visiting the Black Hills. Miner Brewery about 1.5 miles away has awesome craft beer. Enjoy, it’s great. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin at Hill City. The cabin was exactly as described and well supplied with all we needed in the kitchen, plus movies, games, and laundry (not entertaining but so helpful!). The info binder has all the instructions, and owners were very responsive to any questions. The cabin is just off a main road with a grocery store very close by. We found it easy to navigate from there to Custer State Park, Lake Sheridan, Keystone, and much more. We definitely recommend this beautiful cabin for a Black Hills vacation!

Excellent communication with the property managers. They answered all my questions promptly, and notified us that our cabin was ready ahead of schedule so we could check in early. The cabin was very nice and looked just like the pictures. It was in a good central location for all the activities that our family wanted to do while we were there.

We loved this cottage as our homembase for 5 days in the black hills for our two families! We had 4 kids aged 8-13 and 4 adults and this home was a great fit for us! The creek in the back of the property provided hours of entertainment and the home was so wonderfully appointed- everything we looked for to make our meals easier was readily available! Randy and Bridget were incredibly gracious as hosts; prompt communication, clear expectations, and supremely helpful. We loved our time!

This home in Stone Mountain Properties was perfect for our 2 night family stay. The property is immaculate inside and out. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need (check refrigerator and cabinets before you go shopping . . . you may find some spices, oil, tinfoil, etc that you don't have to buy). We were grateful for the nice gas grill and enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Location is perfect for exploring the Hills.

We were thrilled to stay at this comfortable cabin so centrally located to all the activities we wanted to do in the Black Hills. Great for a family stay and close to mt Rushmore/badlands/Custer state park/black hills/devils tower. So much to do and see that this served as a great home base with all the comforts and amenities of home! Highly recommend

Deer sightings were an everyday occurrence. The owners were very easy to get a hold of and even checked in to make sure everything was good with the cabin. We traveled to Hill City for a wedding and arrived early to ride our motorcycles in the area! Great location. Easy to get to everything and fun place to unwind! We had plenty of room to spread out and friends rented the one next door so it was easy to see everyone over the long weekend!

This property was wonderful. The location is great; being between Hill City & Rapid City. Distances to our different destinations were short. The view out the back is gorgeous. The cabin was very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was cozy and very clean. Sometimes the pictures look better than reality, but the cabin was exactly like the pictures. The location was peaceful and easy to get to lots of different places. Hill City was a quiet town (at least in March), but it had some nice restaurants and a grocery store, and they were only a short drive from the cabin.
