Nestled in Norris Lake, this charming cabin for $850 per night is a great option for your next break. Little Sycamore Creek Landing - has a secluded private cabin - a beautiful 5 Bedrooms + Loft - 4.5 Bathrooms Lakefront Log Cabin on Norris Lake ~ (sleeps 16 easily ~ more including pullouts) ! It's a perfect location for a Family Reunion, multi generation group and family Getaways! It's our hideaway in the hills of Tennessee - near the Cumberland Gap! Little Sycamore Creek Landing is nestled on the eastern shores of Norris Lake in the outlying hills of the Cumberland Gap right off Hwy 25 E in Tazewell, TN. LSC Landing is situated on over 120 private acres of Tennessee woodlands with Little Sycamore Creek running along our property's border. As you drive along our lane, the creek flows into Norris Lake meeting in the cove right out front of the cabin. This lakefront cabin is situated on the quiet side of Norris Lake with few boaters and little water traffic. The cove seems like your own private playground. Our cabin has over 2000 feet of shoreline on Norris lake to play on. It is a gentle easy walk (a mere 200 feet away) from the lake shore to the huge deck of cabin. You can float, boat, paddle, and swim to your heart's content. The cabin offers its own private floating dock with a swim ladder and a gravel boat launch / ramp for your boat, canoe, or kayak. Ramp requires 4 wheel drive vehicle or you can use the public boat ramp which is just around the corner or launch at a nearby marina! The cabin also has a fire ring overlooking the lake for evening chats and roasting s'mores. Our property hosts several hiking trails through our 120 acres of rolling woodlands and pastures for the more adventurous guests. LSC Landing was completely renovated in 2013. The highlight of the cabin is its huge deck and covered patio! This is the favorite gathering place for all ~ day or night. The deck is 34' x 60', overlooks Norris Lake (Little Sycamore Creek cove), and the natural woodlands surrounding the cabin. The 14' x 24' covered patio offers an intimate comfortable outside gathering area. It has a beautiful stone propane fireplace to warm the space visually and thermally! It is the perfect place to relax out of the sun or rain. Watch the fish jump, an Eagle soar or a Osprey fish along the shore! The main cabin has a well appointed Kitchen and large Dining area. The large Great Room has a gorgeous stone propane Fireplace for the cool evenings. It also has 2 large comfy sofas and a chair & ottoman to view the large flat screen TV & blu-ray dvd player on the fireplace. There is wi-fi and satellite tv available. The large triangular windows in the Great Room brighten the room and provide a view of the lake from the loft. There is also a cozy sitting room / Den off the hall with a flat screen tv and dvd/vcr player. The Master Bedroom has a King Bed with a flat screen tv and blu-ray dvd player. It also has its own private en suite bathroom. The Master has its own walkout porch with beautiful views of the lake. The main level also offers 2 Guest bedrooms. Guest bedroom #1 has a King bed and shares the hall bathroom with guests in the loft. Guest bedroom #2 has a Queen bed and its own private en suite bathroom. The Loft overlooks the Great Room & has views of the lake through the triangular windows. It can accommodate guests with 3 Twin beds, 1 Twin Trundle, and 1 Twin pullout. The loft has a air hockey table to entertain guests and chairs for quiet reading. The loft shares the hall bathroom & half bathroom on the main level with other guests. The Bonus Room is located above the garage and overlooks the lake and trails of LSC Cabin. It has a suite with 2 bedrooms and a tv / sitting area. One bedroom has a King bed and the second bedroom has a full bed bunkbed with a Twin bed above and 2 sets of twin over twin bunk beds. The tv sitting room has a pullout Queen Sofa bed. There is a bathroom with a shower by the sitting area that is shared by these bedrooms. There are two tvs with vcr / dvd players to use during your stay in these rooms.

This house is amazing! It has everything you need, except the boat, to have an amazing vacation! If you do not bring a boat, please rent one. The lake was literally all to ourselves with the location being so remote. The owners have thought of everything and you don’t need to bring a lot of extras. We had a group of 13 and had plenty of room. We will definitely rent this house again when we come back.

This one is a keeper, we didn't want to leave. The cabin is well stocked, especially with cleaning supplies which are much needed at this time. Our family only used the master bed and bonus room bed above garage and they were both very comfortable. Secluded, we only saw a few fisherman. Use of kayaks was very convenient. With air hockey, tons of games and movies, you'll never be bored if inclement weather pops up. No sulfur water smell as some rentals in these areas can have. Very close to town, maybe 10 minutes. La Esperanza Mexican restaurant was great! Approx. 30 mins from nearest Mall. Great communication with host. Can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Little Sycamore Creek. Our entire party continues to rave about the property and the great time we had. There are no other properties on Norris like it. There is not another lake home for miles from this property, it’s surrounded by state protected lands, and is a true get away from the outside world. We are already planning our next stay. The owners have thought of everything. We cannot wait to return again.

This is a great home for a large group to get away. Everything you could possibly need is provided. We had a group of 9 adults and 4 children under 10. Plenty of space for everyone. Great privacy at the end of the lake. Very few boats to bother you while swimming or tubing. Beautiful views as well!! Wonderful home and hosts.

Beautiful for social distancing!
We loved our stay in Tazwell. The cabin was absolutely spotless. The cabin is out in the middle of nowhere. Normally, we might of enjoyed staying in the main part of the lake, but during crazy 2020 the location was perfect!! We really enjoyed the huge fire pit in the evenings!!

What a beautiful home and property! I’ve stayed at a handful of places in Norris and this is by far the best ever. The house was spotless, even more gorgeous in person, and the hosts had everything you could need.
Location was super private, easy to get to and close to the marina. We had a great weekend.

October vacation
Visited this property in late October with 4 adults and 4 kids (aged 18 mos to 12yo).
Beautiful property!
We loved the close proximity to town yet very secluded and private setting.
Cabin had plenty of room/bedding options to accommodate our family. Very clean and comfortable furnishings.
Kitchen very well stocked which was a welcome change from other rental properties.
Owner very easy to communicate with.
Unfortunately due to the time of the year, the lake water level was lower so bit of a mud pit out front but our kids loved it - just resulted in a lot more laundry!
We did manage to snag a ~30 lb striped bass in front of the cabin - released it back so someone else will have to see if they can catch it again!
Overall, a very pleasant stay and highly recommended!

Amazing!
This was by far my favorite vacation with my family and friends. We had 4 families, total of 18 people. The house was perfect for us. The views were amazing and the privacy can not be matched. Kathy (the owner) had everything you could ever need at the house and was very responsive when Inhad questioned. I miss this place already and are hoping to be back next year!

Amazing Family Reunion in an incredible beautiful home!!!
There is not enough words to describe the amazing beauty of this home nor the calming atmosphere of the Lake. The home has all you need for anything you may need! From cooking utensils, plates, pots etc to entertainment for the whole entire family. We were a total of 13 adults and 6 children and there was always something to do and enjoy with ample space . Everyone was always expressing how beautiful the home was and when we would come back to this home??! Kathy took care of every detail for us to ensure our stay was an amazing experience. Kathy has so many extras in the home as well as outside! She welcomed our family with a "Welcome basket of goodies, candies, cups, nuts and items for s'mores! There are four canoes in her property and we used them throughout our stay. I could go on and on writing about our family experience and the beauty of the home and the entire property. If you are looking for a home on the lake, look no further this is a home that family and friends will be talking about for a very long time! You will have no problems communicating or asking questions to the host, their response is always on time with an eagerness to support and help their guests. Thank you so much for making our family reunion 2019 an experience we will NEVER FORGET!!!

We absolutely love this property!! The owners are very nice and accomodating. We had 11adults, and the layout of the house was more than enough room. If we ever are going to that area again, we will most definitely rent there again.

Fantastic place for a group
Overall, property was an incredible secluded lakeside retreat, which had easy access from the highway and was only 5 minutes from a gas station, 15 minutes from major groceries, and 25 minutes to the LMU campus.
We held a LMU graduation party which supported 8 guests for all four days and swelled up to 21 for two days. Sounds like a lot, but the interior and exterior amenities seemed to handle it with ease. There was plenty of room, with multiple places for groups as well as private nooks for those seeking a break for some alone time.
We would have loved the opportunity to play corn hole or walk the 100' across the lawn to the dock and either fish or kayak around what appeared to be a private finger of Norris Lake; unfortunately, the frequent rain showers kept us inside or under the covered deck, but it never felt crowded. If you want add a little competition to the conversation, there are several board games as well as an air hockey table. Some of us wanted to catch the NBA playoffs, no problem with one of the big TVs in several rooms.
The kitchen and dining amenities, which included two refrigerators and large gas BBQ, handled several meals with ease. Although we had 3-4 people preparing the meals, we never felt cramped getting it all delivered to the table for 10 or buffet line. In the evening we were able to enjoy the fire pit across the lawn by the lake shore, while listening to frogs and watching fireflies.
Everybody expressed having a great time and raved about the accommodations over an amazing long weekend.

This is by far the best place we've ever stayed! Absolutely beautiful and so clean and well kept!
Our family group of 14 couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Little Sycamore Cabin is absolutely perfect--Everything we needed was provided and the attention to detail was incredible. Family members with allergies didn't have any issues either-- the cabin was immaculately kept and clean.
The owner responded quickly to any correspondence and was extremely nice-- even a welcome basket left to greet us!
This made our 7th family vacation and we all agree we only want to come back here for all future trips!
