The last thing you want to worry about is did you bring the essentials? Will you be comfortable? Please Note: We DO NOT advertise our cabin on Craigslist. If you see it, please flag it as a SCAM. Using quality natural fibers and stone to update the space into a cozy log cabin, we wanted an experience you will soon not forget. Whether listening to the wind in the pine trees or enjoying a warm real log fireplace, the feel of the big city will be gone once you step onto the property. A large wrap-around porch will keep you safe from the elements while you sip your favorite drink. Located on over 1/2 forested acres, there is a sense of privacy and connection with the earth. An electronic lock makes checking in, a snap. Alexa can turn on a light, change the temperature, lock the door, or listen to your favorite songs with a simple voice command. What else could you possibly need in a vacation house? The Cabin The 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin has separate floors, which divide the space up nicely. Each floor has a bedroom and bathroom furnished with all the needs two couples could want including a TV in each room. There is a loft space overlooking the great room where a movie can be enjoyed. A surprisingly comfortable sleeper can accommodate up to two unexpected guests. If you are a bed snob do not worry, there are Cloud memory foam mattresses that you can sleep in until late in the day. Our organic towels and sheets will make your stay even more enjoyable. Being stewards of the environment, we have chosen renewable products to enhance your stay. The hot tub is set to a nice 102 degrees. It is conveniently located to enjoy the stars but not cause you to have frostbite trying to get there in the middle of winter. Our fully equipped kitchen will provide you with all the utensils needed to make a gourmet meal. There is even a growler to fill up at all of the great breweries Bend and surrounding have to offer. Need to wash up after a hard day's play, two walk-in showers, and a washer and dryer will help get rid of any unwanted dirt. Activities Located in Three Rivers, there is private access to the Big Deschutes with a boat lunch. Bring a canoe or paddleboard to explore the river. This is a golfers' paradise, with eight championship courses in the area. Do you like to explore caves? This area has several lava tube caves to explore and even an ice cave. Only an hour and a half from Crater Lake, explore Oregon's only national park. At just over a half-hour away explore Newberry Crater National Monument. Whether fishing in Paulina Lake or hiking the obsidian flow, Newberry Shield Volcano offers access to many outdoor activities. Several roads and access to Cascade Lakes Highway make this the perfect location for cyclists. Trail runners and hikers can enjoy access to several trails within a 10-minute drive during the Summer and Fall. In winter these same trails can be used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Best of all only a 20-minute drive to Mt Bachelor Ski resort to enjoy some of the best skiing on the West Coast. Dining Sunriver is only 8 minutes away, just far enough to be away from people but not far enough to prevent you from enjoying a good meal or some shopping. Sunriver Brewing is one of the best local brewers Bend offers and this is only a short drive away. Bend is less than a 30-minute drive and offers award-winning dining, shopping, and several festivals to enjoy year-round. The Les Schwab Amphitheater is located in the Old Mill District and puts on outdoor concerts all summer long. DCCA #001366

We stayed for four nights at the Blue Heron and had a great time. The property is clean and well-appointed and very comfortable as a place to hang out and relax.
The yard is fenced in and feels private, (even though it's in a neighborhood) and has a nice hot tub and firepit area out back. Our only complaint is that previous guests had let their pets do their business in the yard, and there were 3 "land mines" that no one had cleaned up.
Inside, we enjoyed having a crackling fire in the fireplace while we played games and relaxed. One thing to be aware of is that the owners have the Nest thermostat locked out so you can only set a temporary override, but it reverts to their preset temperature and will drop to 62° overnight, and there's nothing you can do about it except contact the host and ask them to remotely change the settings for you. Not ideal, but the owners were friendly and fairly prompt in addressing this issue for us.
Overall, we were happy with the amenities and location, and would consider staying again.

The cabin is adorable inside, well stocked and clean. The hot tub was fantastic and the beds were super comfy. Perfect weekend for friends or family :)

This is the cabin I'd design for myself. So cozy, wonderfully decorated, and had every comfort and amenity we could need. The pups enjoyed the funny fenced yard, we enjoyed the fireplace and the kids loved the hot tub and loft. Can't wait to come back.

The Blue Heron Cabin was AMAZING. We were so impressed with the cleanliness, stocked cupboards and amenities. The hot tub was great, the property was quiet and it all just made the weekend so relaxing.
Our dreams of a staying in a cabin for weekend getaway have been fulfilled and we now know where to check first. We’d love to do it again.

We had booked 12 days but had to leave after 3 due to severe unhealthy air quality. The smoke from the fires was even in the cabin! When we told the host we had to leave the suggestions to stay were not helpful at all ( you could drive 1 1/2 hours to Crater Lake). We have stayed here several times and are booked for next year, but the host gave no desire to return some of our money. I don’t think this is a fair policy.

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood, about 10 minutes from Sunriver. Kitchen is fully stacked. Comfortable beds with foam pillows. Hard to find gem, we hope to return one day.

Located just a short drive from Sunriver, this log home is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. There are two bedrooms and two baths, full kitchen, and two large seating areas. It has a great hot tub and lots of parking. I would love to stay here again!

This was a beautiful cabin and perfect for what we needed. Serene and peaceful, well-appointed, easy, and relaxing. We needed a place to stay as we were attending a sports tournament in Bend and this was perfect. My only wish was that we had more time to spend at the cabin.

Positives: Wonderful beds! Great Hot Tub. Kitchen well stocked. Showers in both bathrooms were great. Nice waking up in the morning to honking geese. Other than our first full day there with two different neighbors spending a good portion of the day using their chainsaws the neighborhood was nice and quiet.
Negative: Neighbor to the east spent a good portion of a day using his chain saw and then the next day decided to burn stuff all day long.

I live in Central Oregon but go to Sunriver to get away and this property is by far the best I have ever stayed in in the Sunriver area. Private, beautiful decor, well stocked and wonderful hot tub. This cabin will be my first choice in the future.

The cabin was roomy, clean and had a great location. Really liked the fenced in yard for the dogs. Wonderful decor and everything worked! Neighborhood great for dog walks and just a few minutes from Sunriver. Very comfortable furniture and beds. We are a family of 5 with two dogs, worked great for us!

My wife and I had the most beautiful time at the cabin. Spending 5 days just watching the snow fly and enjoying the open fire. We went on a few hikes around the area, went shopping, and lots of eating out. We recommend this property to anyone that wants to have a quiet get away just close enough to the city.

We had a great time! Great place to relax and enjoy the snow. House was well stocked with plenty of linens, towels and blankets. Lots of spices, pots, and pans in the kitchen. Coffee provided. Beds were comfortable, but pull out couch was not so much. 30 min drive to Mt Bachelor! Hot tub was a dream! Jets and temp were perfect! Our dogs had a great time with the fenced in yard running through the snow! Short walk to the marina to see the snow covered Deschutes River. Thank you for everything!
