The house is cozy and the land is fantastic! Beautiful river right in the backyard was great to listen to and plenty of yard to walk our pup and feel secluded. Awesome hiking trails only a few miles down the road.

This property is absolutely beautiful. It is located near shopping but not too close. Some of the things in the home are definately showing sighns of age. Some steps and railings on deck were rotting and made us nervous to use. A few things that could have been better: Microwave handle was broken, we had a very hard time trying to figure out how to heat the home without using the fireplace, the hot tub kept blowing the circuit, pool table is missing the 8 ball and the foose ball table was broken and unuseable, the mater bedroom bed was aweful on one side and the tv did not work. We had an issue with the lawnmower guy showing up at 7 am on a Saturday morning and the owner addressed the issue to our satisfaction. That being said, this place is beautiful. It was worth the small problems we ran into. The pictures are accurate. The river was great, the firepit area was very nice and the screenroom came in handy during the rain. We found almost everything we needed in the kitchen and even found nice serving dishes for a formal dinner. The master bedroom was like a small suite with an adjoining shower and dressing area connected to the first floor bathroom. Plenty of seasonings in the kitchen even though we did not need them. My family and I enjoyed this cabin very much and we would definately reccommend it to others.

Very comfy cabin in a perfect location. We caught Rainbow, Brookies, and Browns, in almost every location we tried along the Salmon and Trout Rivers. Day trips to Lake Placid and Lake Champlain areas are under an hour drive. Perfect location for it all in a very nice house. Host communicates well and description is accurate. Worth every penny!

Our group loved the cabin, the sound from the creek, the hot tub and the wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped! The kids loved the games in the basement also!

This location and home was truly one of the best rentals we have ever stayed out in the northeast. The home is so beautiful, immaculate, and cozy with its beautiful shower, hot tub and proximity to the Salmon River which was maybe 25 feet from the outdoor screened porch. We went for some winter hiking and moose spotting and this location was perfect ti access many different important location for NY moose sightings. It is maybe 1 hour north of lake placid and saranac lake if you need a bigger city for shopping or restaurants, but Malone NY has restaurants that are very good; Donovan's Steakhouse and the Hearth of Malone. There is nit really a need for restaurants as the kitchen is completely functional and and beautiful in itself. We arrived at the cabin at holiday time with almost 2 feet of snow in the ground and they had a Christmas tree up near a fire place that was like it was from a movie. The whole place house and outside areas were magical. We had a massive car problem and the owners were so kind and nice and extended themselves to us to help. Just incredible hosts. I'm already looking to book again for next year and will do so soon. This was really one of the best rentals yih court find in the Adirondacks.

This property is absolutely stunning! Pictures can't do it justice. Every little detail has been thought of and is unique and just beautiful. The location is perfect - it feels completely secluded and private, yet it's close to everything you need. My husband is from Hawaii so he knows beautiful scenery. He thinks this property is amazing. The cabin was totally beautiful inside and out. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Our family enjoyed our time at this secluded location, close enough to check out nearby places but loved the remote non hustle-bustle of the cabin while vacationing in the Adirondacks. The attention to detail by the host and communication we had were top rate. The game room, hot tub and screened in porch were highlights along with watching the stream and squirrels in the yard. I can’t say enough good things about this rental. We loved our time here and hope to return someday.

The cabin was very clean, beautiful, and the location was great as well. Close to various hikes and close to town if we needed anything. The back porch was a nice place to sit and read- the fan kept is cool on the two warmer days we had. There was plenty of wood for both the inside and outside fire which was nice. Kitchen was very well stocked with basics and then some!! We had one quick question for the owner and she got right back to us. The basement with pool table and card table was great as well in the hotter/rainy days. Internet was a bit iffy. But was able to use zoom and do some work while I was there.

Beautiful and serene property. The enclosed patio next to the stream was a crowd favorite. The cabin had everything we could need and then some. The stream was running fast while we were there but fishing was still good. There's some calmer sections both up and down the road as well that were better. Plenty of hiking in the area too. Highly recommend.

This was our 1st Vrbo experience We were hoping for a secluded cabin in the heart of nature, with the opportunity to stream music and play pool indoors, if weather didn't cooperate. We especially loved having the option to make wood fires indoors and out, as well as sip our hot coffees while sitting in the cozy screened in porch. The raging river and birds along the banks kept us amused. We also enjoyed walking along the river to take in all the sites and sounds of the surrounding grounds. The cabin was clean and comfy. Cathy was a wonderful host.

We were so looking forward to what appeared from the photos to be a beautiful relaxing spot to rest from our busy lives. We were not disappointed. The cabin is amazing. It is decorated in gorgeous Adirondack detail and has all the amenities of home. We so enjoyed the hot tub outside on the deck and relaxed in the brisk night air while listening to the river rushing by. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend the cabin. It was very clean, cozy with a better than home feel. It was everything we hoped it would be and more.

This property is beautiful and location is great. Everything was top notch except for cleanliness. We knew this was a pet friendly rental however, There was dog hair everywhere including all the over the flannel sheets in the master bedroom. The hot tub was filthy. We got in and realized there was clumps of stuff all over the bottom. After trying to clear it out ourselves, we gave up and got out. We were hoping to get use of that since it was very cold during our stay.
