We enjoyed all the trails of Hocking Hills State Park, even though the waterfalls were non existing. We also fully enjoyed Bear Cabin! I am a custodian at our church, and appreciate all it takes to have a place so clean and welcoming! We highly recommend this as a wonderful get away!

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was a much needed trip. If you like having wifi and cell phone service don’t stay here. Not being on our phone all weekend was something we really needed. Jimbos bar was a place we recommend if you stay here, couple miles away. The neighbors were ok. But it was a great time. Our dog loved every second of this trip

I hate to leave a bad review because it's not really the owner's fault but the stay was awful. The cabin is nice, no frills but perfect to get away. Problem is the trailer down the road has a dog that the owner lets out every day at 3PM to 8PM and the dog literally barks every second of that time. It's not as noticeable in the cabin but it's very loud if you go out to read a book or even enjoy a campfire. No WIFI so you'll have to go to town to download white noise if you want to try that. I think it's so loud you'd still hear the dog over a bluetooth speaker and probably even with headphones. Based on the deplorable condition of the trailer in question I don't think the owner would be very receptive to complaints about his dog. Until this is resolved, we would never come back to this cabin. It was that bad. I reached out to our contact about this issue but have yet to get any response.

We loved our little cabin in the woods. Very cozy and clean and tucked back from the road a bit so you felt like you were in your own little world. We will definitely be back to Hocking Hills again and will try to reserve this cabin in the future!

My husband, two daughters, and I enjoyed our stay at Bear Cabin very much. The cozy cabin and property were clean and nicely decorated with bear-themed decor. The kids loved having the loft space to themselves. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sitting around the fire pit, and my husband appreciated the charcoal grill. The location is nice and secluded and is conveniently within10-20 minutes driving distance to all the various Hocking Hills sights. We chose Bear Cabin on a whim as a last minute trip and weren't disappointed. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Nice, well-kept property in the woods and very much off the beaten path. I think there were maybe a dozen cars that went past per day at most. And the hot tub was, not surprisingly, very much enjoyed. It really was enjoyable not having television, internet, and phone to distract attention for a couple days. Great way to spend our 15th anniversary. (Note: there is a TV with a nice collection of DVDs if you want a movie, just no connection otherwise)

Our family of four and 2 dogs loved staying at Bear Cabin. Very nice cabin with lots of charm. Our kids loved their loft beds and climbing up and down the ladder. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We will definitely be coming back!

It was nice being disconnected and quiet for 2 days...

If you are looking for an enjoyable vacation spot, this is the place. We had a wonderful time. There is lots to do like hiking, horseback riding and canoeing. Hocking Hills has nice attractions like Old Man's Cave with beautiful waterfalls. The Local towns of Logan and Landcaster were enjoyable to visit. The Columbus Zoo is only a little over an hour away which we enjoyed very much. All in all it was a home away from home. We played games out on the back porch and enjoyed the hot tub. There is nothing like camping with enjoying the fire ring.

The dogs loved exploring and the view from the hot tub was amazing. Needed a few kitchen utensils that I forgot (peeler and large knife, did bring cutting board & foil). So much fun - we will be back FOR SURE!!!!

We greatly enjoyed our experience staying at the cabin. We took the trip to get away from the craziness of our lives and to have a break from the city. We have 6 kids between the two of us; with our youngest together being 2yo and 9mos we were beyond ready for some peace and quietness. Wifi would of been nice just to have something to watch on the TV with a ruko or something, or a heads up so we could of brought some movies of our own because we spent most of our time at the cabin not going to the caves like most other visitors would. No cell service no big deal. On our last night there we were so ready to go home not because of boredom or anything but because we missed our little boys so bad it was killing us. We most definitely would do this again but probably just 2 days instead of 3.

We've stayed in the Hocking Hills area many times and loved the cabin and location. In the morning, I'd walk the dogs in my PJs. Cabin is nicely decorated with bears everywhere. Cabin is well equiped, even has an emergency kit if power goes out! Would definitely stay again!

Its small but perfect size for 2 kids and 2 adults.It sits far enough away from the road so you can have privacy while in hot tub...super clean and supplies everything you would need. Close to hocking hills and a gas station close...Only thing that I had a issue with was the ladder to loft not too safe for small children to clime down by themselves but over all I rate it a 9 outta 10....I will be back 😁

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. The loft was great for the kids. We lost power the first night and we were able to use supplies in the emergency kit until power was restored a few hours later. We were very thankful for that. The cabin smelled a little musty and i was a little nervous with the neighborhood but overall we had a great time!
