Loved our stay. It was cold when we finally arrived and it was so nice to enter and have the cabin nice and cozy with the heater running. It had all the amenities we needed except for tree and lights. We brought lights and decorated. :)

This was a great cabin for our 4th of July getaway. The kitchen is well-stocked with gear (including spices). Very comfortable seating in the living room and the cabin stayed cool without AC despite highs in the 80s. The bathroom was short a few towels when we arrived, but Steve and the housekeepers resolved this by the evening of our arrival day. A short walk to a great viewpoint for the fireworks show. We loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evening (probably best for up to 2 people at a time).

The cabin is exactly as described. Great location. Very responsive owners. There is a galley style kitchen with everything you need should you decide to cook. The living area is comfortable and cozy. The heater is very efficient so even though it was cold outside we stayed warm. The bunk room was full of toys, games and stuffed animals which delighted my granddaughters. I reminded myself a couple of times that this is truly a cabin - so, yes..some cobwebs, dust and spiders but I expected that. My only disappointment was in the bedding - it's definitely time for new pillows, sheets and mattress covers. If I went back, I'd bring my own bedding.

The cabin was pretty much exactly how it’s explained on VRBO. Steve was always available and communicated very well. We stayed over the Blizzard of 2023, so it required a bit more elbow work with the snow, but that was all part of the fun of it. It’s a very rustic cabin, so you need to understand what you’re leasing. A good cleaning, and a little TLC would be recommended, but will not keep us from leasing this cabin again! We had a wonderful time. Great for a small family! Thank you Steve for your hospitality and responsiveness!

Place was perfect! Heater was dialed in! Master bedroom was awesome with its own fireplace. We scored the biggest snow fall in the past quarter century. Shovel snow a path to the jacuzzi which was perfect for the long day of boarding snow summit couple miles up the road. We also got to snowboard in the long backyard with my kids. They were stoked! TV was setup with Netflix. Gas stove was quick with breakfast & dinner. Kids loved their bunk bed. 5/5 rating from the Kuailani Ohana. Aloha from Maui!

This is such a nice, cozy little cabin! Everything you need for a great weekend in the mountains! The kids had a great time sledding on the hill in the backyard. Great bonus that there’s a hot tub. The kids are already asking when we can come back to this cabin again!

Our family of 5 first time to Big Bear Lake. We enjoyed the small cabin. It had all the amenities we needed for our 4 night stay. We went hiking. We rented a pontoon at Holloway marina which is less then a quarter mile from the cabin. We visited the alpine zoo, walked the village and fished the shores of the lake. We had a blast and made memories that will last forever.

We were so please overall with everything. Nice, clean and comfy. And with the exception of some cob webs this cabin was just what we needed. We had to cut our trip a day short, but would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Property was nice. Enjoyed our stay. Was a little surprised there wasn’t but a few bath towels and no wash rags. Not critical but would have been nice to have 2 sets of bath towels and wash rags. Bed was comfortable. I was happy to see a Keurig coffee maker.

It’s a very cute cozy cabin. We went to alpine magic mountain and rode the mineshaft, drove go carts and the soaring eagle. We went bowing and also went to Holloway marina and went on a pirate ship(good for small children). We tried to do some fishing but didn’t have much luck catching anything. The jacuzzi was a nice way for us adults to relax after taking the kids out all day. We brought most of our food to eat and grilled hamburgers, hotdogs and steaks. The kitchen had everything we needed. We recommend this cabin to others who enjoy big bear.

The property is very nice and in a great location. It's a couple minute walk to the Marina and only a couple minute drive to the Village. Overall it met expectations and we look forward to visiting again.

Inside is charming. Nothing fancy, but cozy. Bed in master bedroom was comfortable but a little rickety. Loved all of the quilts about for snuggling. The outside of the cabin looks mildly neglected. Cobwebs everywhere. Actually on the last day I swept all of the cobwebs off of the windows, chairs, and bench on the back and front porch because it bothered me so much. The jacuzzi was lovely.
