About this cabin rental
Located in Big Bear, this attractive cabin for $160 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The 'Happy Place' is a beautiful knotty pine, two story cabin located in a quiet, wooded area less than three miles from the slopes. Perfect for two couples and a few kids! Fully equipped with Wifi, three flat screen LCD TVs, DVD, Nintendo Wii with many games, central heat, washer/dryer, foosball table, gas grill, large rock fireplace. and a covered hot tub on back deck. Recently remodeled bathrooms. Downstairs - Den, kitchen and dining area, 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom with tempurpedic queen bed Upstairs - 1 bathroom, 1 Master bedroom with queen bed, and 1 large kids bedroom with two bunks beds and trundle beds The full kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator, gas range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, utensils, and serving ware. Fully fenced back yard. For security, we have 3 survielance cameras. One over garage to view driveway. One on the front of the house to view front yard, and one on the back of the house to view backyard and spa. Of course there are no cameras inside the cabin. Pet friendly. No Smoking & no parties please!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is so cozy and well appointed, plus the location is very close to both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Our teens enjoyed the foosball table, Wii, PS3, and welcome goodies. We will definitely be back!

Lovely, clean and super cozy. We loved staying here - my four teens and 11 year old daughter all had a blast. The owners left a basket of goodies - good hand soap, good conditioner and shampoo the shower had a beautiful rain feel to it and the kitchen was fully stocked with pans all the necessary items that you might need. We were very happy there. SO GREAT!!

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very communicative before our arrival and first impression was fantastic. We were welcomed with a snack basket and a visit from the caretakers. Cabin was very well stocked with kitchen items, towels, bathroom supplies, etc. Only missing item that we could have needed was a griddle, but that was a very minor thing. This place was wonderful- we would definitely stay here again! as

Love the cabin and was in a very nice neighborhood. Place was stocked and had everything we needed. Jeff and Carol are nice and property management is nice as well. Will come again and recommend to friends and family.

Lots of room, beautiful backyard and front patio. Comfortable beds, very clean, I brought a crock pot for one of our dinner but not needed as there were 2 there provided. Forgot my cast iron skillets at home but no problem. There was one there to use. Also pots and non stick pans that can be used. The spa was wonderful that we all enjoyed. Would have movie nights with the kiddos and dog at night. Not to far from everything but not to close where it's busy with traffic. Great walks around the neighborhood! Just the cool fresh air was amazing!

Upon arrival we loved the neighborhood and the home; clean, quiet, quaint mountaintop cabin in the forest. The front deck picnic table and grill were a favorite for our meals. The backyard spa was a great way to relax at the end of the day! The cabin is close to the lake, the stores, and downtown Big Bear. The home was comfortable and outfitted with everything needed for our stay. The personal touches, the snack basket, lotions, humidifiers, tissues, a variety of spices for cooking, and laundry supplies were appreciated.

Beautiful cabin home with lots of space and amenities. We used all of them.. the foozball table, BBQ, jacuzzi, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Anything we needed was there! Plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper goods, cleaning supplies.. kitchen was stocked. We BBQ’d steaks, mashed potatoes, baked cookies, made eggs and waffles every morning. The downstairs bed was a bit hard.

Such a nice break form Vegas heat, it was so nice to be in a calm neighborhood in the middle of pine trees and so much greenery! Wonderful, we'll be back. (without Arnold this time 99-: ).

Perfect cabin for a quick getaway to Big Bear! The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We took 2 teens and our pup and it was tough getting them to leave lol. Would definitely come back to this cabin again!!!

We have stayed at a lot of VRBO’s in our time, but this place stands out as one of the best. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. The house was clean and had a great yard for the kids to play. The neighbors were great also. This place pays attention to the details which I really loved. We will definitely be back!

This property was better then we expected! Communication with owner was great since the get go. Location of Cabin was easy to get to and the neighborhood was great! Beautiful home that included everything you might need and more! It was definitely a home away from home! We will definitely be going again and recommending it to our family and friends! 10 out of 10 in my books!

My family would stay in this cabin again. Kids had lots of fun with the hot tub and game table. Jeff was super responsive to messages and very helpful when the weather was an issue when checking in. Definitely would recommend to families.

The property was absolutely amazing and the inside of the cabin was perfect! Plenty large for 3 kids and 4 adults. The hot tub in the back served as a lovely nighttime dip, and the little girls loved dipping the feet in and then making hot chocolate.
Couldn’t be happier with the gas fireplace, just throw a log on and we had fire the whole time. Plus the place was nice and clean when we got there!
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for, very close to the mountains for snowboarding and sledding, and a town close by for any dinner we wanted. Plenty of room for all three little girls to have slumber parties and the four adults to feel like we had our own space too.
We can’t wait to book another stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jeff’s place. Great location, good communication with the owners, and it looked very much like the pictures. The neighborhood is ideal. Only concern was the list of chores requested of us was a little long given a cleaning fee was applied.

The Happy Place makes everyone happy. Cabin has everything you need including a hot tub. In a very nice neighborhood, with friendly people. Close to entertainment, great food and grocery stores. Have been there multiple times and will go again!

Truly enjoyed every minute of our stay at The Happy Place. Our kids loved the big double bunk bed room, board games and fooz ball table. The kitchen was great for us to cook breakfast and dinner, lots of pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. The showers were divine, helped relax those muscles from being active all day. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the home itself is central to all things Big Bear. We wanted to wash and dry clothes but the machines didn't want to start. A quick message to the owner through the app, and within 30 minutes his very kind neighbor stopped by to get things running. No complaints, we will certainly be back!

A truly happy place! We are regular Big Bear visitors and to be honest, this is one of the most amazing cabins we had the privilege to stay at. Our dogs loved the fire place and playing in the backyard while we were relaxing in the spa. The house is very clean and it has every single supply you need. The interior decor is so beautiful (every single detail). We just got back in San Diego and already planing our next visit to this place. Thank you for everything ❤️

Great family getaway
This place was very clean and felt like home. Very close to everything. The kids loved the bunk beds, video games and foosball table. The hot tub was great after a day on the slopes.

Super cozy and homey! The owners were sooo nice, easy to communicate with, and flexible! The jacuzzi was awesome but a little on the hot side! We would definitely love to come back for another stay!
