Bar Bakfar

Nice premises, tidy and aesthetic. Swimming pool is a great plus, the water is mildly heated so it was nice even in October. The family apartment is pretty comfortable, the jacuzzy area is very nice. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast (not included in the price). On the whole, pretty good value for Israel.

Not a big deal for me, but they didn't clean the place while we were there. Kitchen facilities are pretty basic. The apartment is a bit old fashioned (kibbutz style). Location is good but not excellent.

I thought it was slightly overpriced, because the location is a little remote. But its remoteness was also charming.

Every aspect of Bar Bakfar was magical. The minute you began to breathe that fresh air, you know you are in a special place. Surrounded by nature: fruit orchards, olive trees, grapes hanging in the vineyards , birds, flowers, a stunning view regally watched over by Mount Tabor, which changes colors as the day wanes. A walk anywhere there will bring peace and calmness. Our accommodations were so pleasant. We choose the smallest of all the options, just the two of us, and we were very pleased. The decor was charming, so attractive. Each accommodation which varied from one bedroom to a three level villa all were beautifully accessorised by the owner with support of a professional interior decorator. Much care was given to every detail. The additional porch added a relaxing space. Each morning we were greeted by Rasha. What an amazing baker/chef. She prepared fresh baked breads, sweet rolls, and yeast rolls daily. On each table was fresh butter. cheeses, lebanah, homemade jam, fresh fruits and vegetables, along with the breads, and a pitcher of lemonade with mint. On the buffet were cereals and fresh hot coffees. In addition to this lavish spread, we were offered made to order omelettes. We leisurely enjoyed these meals while taking in the surrounding view. None of these amazing aspects would be possible without the deep passion and devotion the Bar family gives to this vacation spot for couples, families, singles and groups. It all begins for guests when Yuval welcomes each guest personally. Yuval is an awesome host. He is supported by a friendly group of people who keep everything tip top. Yuval’s brother, parents, Rasha and a number of others are there to ensure your stay is one you won’t forget snd will make you to come back, as it did us, we, who did not want to leave. Try the Jacuzzi in each accommodation . Enjoy the refreshing pool, especially as the sun is setting. And do not leave with out buying the wines that are products from their vineyards.

A real gem! Amazing place, great location, awesome host and an excellent breakfast. The outdoor private porch with Spa Bath is a real perk... Would definitely return and recommend!!

Amost everything! Yuval ,the owner is charming,friendly ,obliging and helpful!! The breakfast is varied and delicious. The kitchen staff fabulous! The pool meticulously maintained. The atmosphere and surroundings conducive to relaxation!! We'll definitely return!
