Our family trip was for our 2 1/2yr old grandson to visit Santa at the "North Pole." He enjoyed a magical visit and the adults were able to sit back, relax and enjoy some good family time. The cabin was nicely decorated for Christmas which added to his excitement and the bin of toys were a great way for him to enjoy something new. The cabin has all the amenities of home and we were able to bake cookies, prepare meals, watch Christmas movies and relax. The location is great. We were very comfortable there. The only thing that didn't cooperate was the weather. We are looking forward to coming back with our other daughters to explore the Lake Placid area. Thanks Tyler and Alyssa!

The cabin is even larger than it appears in photos with plenty of space for groups to hang out. The location is also convenient to Keene, Wilmington, and Lake Placid. We had everything we needed, instructions were easy to find, and overall all 4 of us had a relaxing experience.

Classic cozy log cabin with modern amenities in a log cabin community. Private and woodsy, but not in a remote back woods location. Short walk to the community lake. Thirty minute gorgeous drive to Lake Placid.

We’ve stayed in this cabin before and had a great time coming back! It’s a gorgeous space with everything you need. Fully stocked and prepared for every occasion. I couldn’t give 5 stars on the cleaning this time but that is no reflection of the owners, they trust the cleaning company to have that all taken care of. After mentioning the cleanliness to the owners, they refunded our cleaning fee (I didn’t even ask them to!) and made it right. I wouldn’t have expected them to do that, I just wanted to bring it to their attention. It didn’t have any effect on our stay, we had a GREAT time! The trail that leads to the lake is so fun, the fire pit is stocked with wood, the porch is a great place for morning coffee. We will definitely be back!

The house was stocked with the essentials like tin foil, plastic wrap, towels, wash clothes, hand towels, trash bags, and they had dishes in there with a dishwasher. You couldn't even do your laundry if you wanted to, which we ended up using and was fabulous. So we came home with clean clothes instead of a huge amount of dirty clothes. The owners were very very helpful, we had an issue with one of the AC units and they replaced it as well as any other questions I may have had. They were quick to respond and get back to me. Oh, if you're interested in fishing, there is a private lake right nearby where you can fish without having a license in New York, which is awesome. We took advantage of that every day. Almost after dinner. I would go back again. I really like to layout of the house. And they made us feel welcome without even being there it was amazing. 10/10 rating. Thank you again for a great visit. There is no smart TVs, but they do have cable. I was able to find that out in advance that they didn't have a smart TVs so I brought our Roku to stream shows.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone!! The kitchen was stocked with way more than anyone would expect as far as seasoning, storage bags, cooking utensils and plates/dishes. There were a lot of activities with in short driving distance. The air conditioners were perfect on a hot day and we’re definitely enough. The beds were SO comfortable definitely a home away from home. Will definitely plan to come back again.

Loved this property. Beautiful design. Great kitchen. Well equipped. Nice to have a dishwasher. And the washing machine and dryer were great to have, as we stayed here half way through a three week vacation. Cleanliness was good inside. The balcony hadn't been swept before we checked in. Some muck came out of the jacuzzi jets when we used it. As others have said, soundproofing between the two main bedrooms is poor, but it wouldn't stop us returning. Easy to find. Well located, but very quiet and private. One near neighbour, but we heard no noise from them. Noises at night from outside were amazing. Not sure what critters were making them! For a couple, this property was not cheap, but it was great value.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is in a great location just a short drive to Lake Placid, Whiteface, and other attractions. The host was very prompt with returning messages and kind enough to let us check in half an hour early when we arrived earlier than expected. The kitchen was fully stocked and the property was clean and inviting. There's a cute little lake just a short stroll away, and we really enjoyed roasting our hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire pit (which was stocked with firewood). Maybe the only down side is the lack of sound proofing between the first and second floor. From the first floor bedroom, we could hear EVERYTHING going on in the 2nd floor. But the basement was pretty soundproof. Overall, really nice place to stay!

Nice cabin with good amenities. Was chilly (50 degrees) in the cabin when we got there. I’d recommend getting new silverware. Plastic on fork came off in my daughter’s dinner.

The Tumblerock Cabin is beautiful! The cabin has all the amenities you would want. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and used the gas grill. All linens were provided and we did not want for anything. It was super warm, even when the temps dipped below freezing. The master bed was super comfy which made it hard to get out of in the morning. There are a ton of other sleeping areas which we did not utilize. We enjoyed the loft TV area, the livingroom and stove and played a few games of pool in the lower level. The community is great. We did not see anyone else except the snowplow! We snowshoed around the lake and on the trails. It is wonderful in the winter. This location would also be highly desirable in the summer. I would highly recommend this cabin and will not hesitate to stay again. I already cannot wait!

My son and I were in town for the Empire State winter Games and decided to stay in a cabin. This was perfect for what we needed and then some. He ended up having several of his teammates stay and there was still room to spare. Great experience!!! Great cabin!!!!!

Our friends and family had a great time staying at your beautiful cabin. Pantry and linens were fully stocked and salt and shovel were readily available for us to use. Entering the house was fairly easy with the lockbox. The snow covered trees and house felt magically as it was our first time visiting the area. We had a great time at Whiteface Mountain. Will definitely return again for another ski trip. Linda
