Located in Wilmington, this attractive chalet for $167 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Cozy A-frame Chalet located on a private road with gas burning fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Centrally located for hiking, fly-fishing, cycling, swimming, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and exploring all the Adirondacks have to offer. Sleep accommodations up to 6 guests: 1 bedroom with queen size bed, spacious loft with double size bed and living room with queen size sofa bed. Large deck with propane grill and Adirondack chairs overlooking large front yard, for kids and dogs to play, with views of Whiteface Mountain. After a day of enjoying the outdoors, or a day in town, relax at the chalet by the indoor fireplace or roast marshmallows outside by the fire pit. High speed internet access allows for all streaming devices and working remotely. 5 min drive to base of Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, 8 min drive to Whiteface Veterans Memorial Highway and Santa's Workshop, less than 15 min scenic drive to downtown Lake Placid/Mirror Lake and all Olympic venues including ski jump, ice skating rink, bobsledding, and so much more. **Chalet Highlights** -Location! I booked the Black Diamond Chalet for a laid back, relaxing weekend for my husband, myself and our 2 pups. BDC did not disappoint. The space was perfect for us. With rain for a good amount of the trip, we spent a lot of time in the living area. The fold out couch and gas fireplace made for a very cozy Saturday. The chalet is very close to town yet feels secluded and is private.

The chalet was perfect for our family of three plus our small dog. On a very private road very close to all attractions we wanted to visit. Kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals at home. Owner was communicative and available via email if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here when we visit again!

Would have gave 5 stars but vary dirty, clead up cigarette buts and dog poo from other renters...cleaned in side of the house to.

Such a beautiful cabin, quiet location, tucked away and private without being isolated. The beds were super comfy, and this was the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever encountered. Everything was considered. This was exactly what we had been hoping for.

Loved staying here for our Independence Day holiday week. It was in a quiet little area and close to some of the areas recommended places to see. Comfortable and just how it is described in the listing! Will recommend for friends wanting to visit or even come back again some time! Thank you!

This was our first trip with 2 huskies and it was perfect. The weather held out and we were able to take advantage of all the breweries and trails very close to the property. The cabin itself was immaculate. Would definetly stay again.

The location and property itself was very clean, ideal, and easy to get to. It's proximity to both Lake Placid and Lake Champlain was perfect as Placid is 15 minutes in one direction and Champlain was 40 in another. Whether it was rainy or sunny, there was always something to do. The one part of the property that I would change would be the small metal cords acting as support railings on the deck and stairs up to the loft. While they look great and add a touch of modern to a classic A-Frame, we had to regularly keep an eye on our 16 month old as she walks everywhere and those cords aren't exactly child friendly. Other than that, it was as advertised and a very comfortable stay. We would definitely stay again.

We loved the freshly updated A-frame in the woods. Super quiet location. It was stocked with great kitchen essentials and some nice extras like bug spray. It rained the whole weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the campfire, but it was a nice setup with ADK chairs. Host was very responsive before we got there when we had a couple of questions. Oh, and fast Wi-Fi! We would stay again for sure.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, updated property. While there are houses nearby it still feels private and quiet. The location is great for a quick trip into Lake Placid or a 45 minute drive to Lake Champlain. The deck is a little scary for very small children or half-blind dogs but everyone enjoyed their time in the spacious yard instead.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Chalet for our anniversary. We loved every minute of the cozy cabin. It was close to all activities for us including Whiteface, Lake Placid Village, and cross country ski trails. We would have loved to stay longer!

My partner and I had a great time lodging in this chalet for the weekend. Surrounded by a winter wonderland, we enjoyed the cozy nature of the A-frame and it’s amenities. Being under 10 minutes from the Whiteface resort was incredibly convenient and allowed us to arrive bright and early while being well rested. Our dog Lincoln also truly enjoyed the stay. Being able to run through the snow covered landscape and quickly return to the warm inviting house was very fulfilling for him.
All in all, we had a memorable trip and were very pleased with our experience. Dana did a great job of making the check in and check out process a breeze and the chalet was very clean and tidy. We would definitely return for future weekend getaways!

I recently stayed at the Juniper Chalet and thoroughly enjoyed the property. The property was clean and well maintained. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and beautiful area with some amazing views and drives. Also, I was treated to one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen, right on the front porch of the property. So If you stay here I’d highly recommend checking out the sunsets. The owner was very polite and helpful. I can’t wait to find another “excuse” to take a trip up to the Adirondacks and book my next stay at the Chalet!

The chalet was perfect for our little family. Had everything we needed including a grill and fire pit to enjoy the outdoors.
I would bring extra blankets next time since the night temps dropped considerably.

I have stayed here one a year for the past few years. I appreciate that secluded feeling while still being so close to Wilmington center and not far from Lake Placid. The place has everything I need and was just as described. I look forward to staying again next year. It is cozy, restful and great stay.

Perfect location. Very convenient to everything in the Whiteface region. Loved the big porch and secluded yard for the dogs, the beds were very comfy, and the host was very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Over all very nice place. Great location, nice quiet setting ,close to Whiteface Mountain, short drive to Lake Placid. I would recommend bringing most of your food if you plan on cooking. No big grocery store close by.. The only negative thing would be the cleanness of the house. It wasn’t up to my standard (as someone who cleans ) somethings could of been wiped down and cleaned better.

Vacation in the Adirondack
Our family had a great time here. This house was right for us. We didn’t spend much time there, since we were off adventuring. But in the evening it was the perfect place to relax and unwind.

These are such small things that they did not impact our stay one bit! It was clean, and the porch was very relaxing. It got cold one night and it was so nice to have the gas fire place for some warmth and coziness. I would definitely return!
