Situated in Ohio, this charming cabin for $175 per night is a great choice for your next break. Tucked back in the woods, at the edge of 23 acres of a roughly 150 yr. old farm, this spacious, Amish built cabin built in 2006, is the ideal place to kick back and relax with friends or just your better half. Kick Back Cabin was originally the previous owner's art studio. With walking trails on the property that lead to a small creek and a fishing pond, the scenery is sure to inspire. This cabin is also at the epicenter of the Hocking Hills region and all that it has to offer! My wife, son, and I couldn't be happier with our stay. When you don't hear traffic for minutes on end while standing outside, you know you're in the right place. The property trails were great to hike and the hot tub was certainly welcome with the cool temperatures. Although rainy, the cabin's fireplace kept us warm, and the movies kept us happy. I would refer this property to anyone wanting to get away. Hosts were accommodating and even decorated the place for the holidays. I can't say enough good things...if you stay here, you won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time walking the trails and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We explored local restaurants and other attractions in nearby Logan. The cabin was very cozy and the privacy was perfect.

We were looking for a nice, quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. This property would be perfect for that, if some upkeep was done.
The interior of the cabin is nice, and beds were comfortable. However, the bathroom has a strong dank, mildew smell and the floor feels rather “soft” in it.
The hot tub was nice and there are great views from the porch, but the porch needs a good cleaning as it had green slime on it which made it very slippery in spots. It also had spots on the upper deck that sank down when stepped on. (I weigh 150 lbs so it wasn’t from my weight!) The outdoor furniture needs cushions. The hiking paths that are shown on the map are all overgrown and not kept cleared at all.

My husband and I were looking for way to celebrate our anniversary with our boxer pup and this place looked amazing online. It definitely did not disappoint! All of natural light that came through the windows, the beauty of the forest outside and the much needed quiet was exactly what we needed. The cabin was beautifully crafted and very clean and the owners thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay even for our pup! This is the perfect escape for a couple or small family. Thank you so much to the owners for making this such a wonderful getaway! Definitely would like to stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the Kickback Cabin. It was clean, dog-friendly, and in a beautiful remote location. We walked the trails around the property and our pup thoroughly enjoyed the sniffs. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and relaxing. Lots of places to visit nearby, we really enjoyed a few trips to Athens, Logan, and Nelsonville for dining. A great place to visit and unwind.

It was great! This will definitely be a go to cabin. Our only recommendation would be to put blinds/curtains on the back and front door. Other than that definitely the perfect getaway spot.

The modern looking cabin was exactly like the picture both inside and outside. Felt larger than the square footage. Enough room for husband and me plus our mini daschund. Enourmous property with plenty of trails to explore. Very secluded and peaceful. The cabin is tucked away surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature.

The cabin is so cute and comfortable. We really enjoyed the porch and being able to sit out with our dog and keep her near by. The Bed is comfy and the furniture was nicely done. Made a fire on the last night and was just nice and quiet out in the woods!!! Thanks for making the place so welcoming!!!!

Nice clean cabin the perfect distance from main roads and all of the points of interest. Quiet area and well mantained. Very little wireless bandwith if that is an issue for you.

Furniture on screened in porch dirty and different than listing. Large holes in screen made porch unusable. Fenced yard not maintained. Unit has window a/c with 86 decibils sound. Furniture on deck not the same as pictures. We left after one day because of these conditions.

My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs. It was great to have a fenced in yard. The proposed is beautiful and was a great little place to relax and take in nature.

The cabin was beautiful and even better than we expected. Very private and clean. It was a great place to go after a day of hiking Hocking Hills.

Our stay here was amazing! The cabin was so nice and very pet friendly. Dog doors led to an enclosed deck and an enclosed small yard area. The cabin was very comfortable with everything you need to stay put and relax. The location is perfect, beautiful hiking trails and a nice pond for the dogs to swim. We enjoyed the quiet of being surrounded by the woods, but it wasn't too far to drive and enjoy the small towns nearby. We really enjoyed Athens, lots of great spots to eat and grab craft brews.
We have saved this spot as a favorite and plan to go back. We had a great time here, and we highly recommend the cabin and the hosts!

We stayed at Kickback Cabin for two nights to enjoy hiking at the state parks. The location of the cabin was absolutely perfect. The privacy was perfect and we had everything we needed in the cabin. It was wonderful to be able to easily let our dog out and let her stay with us up on the deck while we had breakfast or a cocktail while looking out at the beautiful woods.

We had a great time here! It was the perfect getaway in the woods. Beautiful hiking trials and fishing pond on site. Great location if you are looking to spend time at hocking hills. Owner was very friendly and great to work with. The cabin had everything we needed and was very dog friendly. Would stay here again.

The Kick Back Cabin & setting are beautiful, however the bathroom floor is spongy. You wonder if you will fall through! The toilet seat is loose and you feel as though you're falling off every time you sit down. The towels were small and at best, sufficient. The oven & stove were not clean, along with the fact small appliances do not all work.The king size bed was nice. Slept well. The curtain fell because rod was too flimsy. Porch swing & hot tub were relaxing. Very secluded & quiet. Could have been a great stay if the fore mentoined issues were corrected. I hope the owners do address these problems.

This cabin is very secluded and peaceful with very nice amenities. It’s also clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the back porch and listening to the birds, as well as the thunderstorms rolling through. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We drove to Ash Cave and hiked to Cedar Falls. Downtown Nelsonville is about a 10 minute drive - all things Hocking Hills are between 20-30 minutes. We found it very convenient. We even had a box turtle visit us by the front door. :)

Always enjoy my yearly stay at Kickback. The cabin is always spotless and having trails right out the door is great. The fenced in area for dogs is a total perk!

Cute place. Very private in the woods. Had lots of little amenities provided like kitten supplies, towels and condiments. Only about 25 mins from Hocking Hills

This property was exactly as listed. We stayed for vacation and it was the perfect place to relax. The wifi is very slow, so it was a great week to unplug and ignore your phone. The hot tub was wonderful and the entire place was clean. All of the popular trails, restaurants and shops were within 30 minutes.

The house was clean and in good condition, the instructions for check in and out were clear and easy to follow. I enjoyed the birds that enjoyed the bird feeder, and well as the serenity of the surrounding area. It isn’t as close to town as I would’ve liked but I think I appreciated the fact that it was not so close more than the “inconvenience” of having a bit of a drive to go places.
My only 2 complaints are minor: the layout of the bathroom is awkward and the couch isn’t overly comfortable. But, with the views and access to various locations and sights, it’s easy to get past that.
Fantastic stay, wish I could have stayed longer, and would love to come back and bring along a friend next time!
