Fantastic view and the perfect place to switch off from the world (while being driving distance to tourist attractions). Property was homely and everything was such a high standard. Hosts were lovely and the welcome hamper was such a thoughtful touch

Eileen and Simon (and their beautiful dog Amber) were the perfect hosts - there to greet us on arrival, and to answer any questions we had. They gave us some good tips for eating out in the local town - the very lovely and quirky Sheffield - and were happy to show our children where their chickens laid eggs, and to let us feed their sheep one morning.
When we booked, we did not realise that breakfast was included... but when we walked into our cottage, we were presented with an ENORMOUS hamper, with eggs freshly laid by their chickens that morning, delicious local yogurt and milk, a loaf of wholemeal bread, fruit, butter, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. Plenty to keep us going for our 3 night stay. So wonderful!
Eileen is an artist, and you can see her personal touch in the decor of the two bed cabins. Very classy, yet warm and inviting.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, linen very crisp and luxurious. There were 8 sets of plates, cutlery, mugs, etc, so you could actually use the dishwasher and not have to wash up to have a second cuppa. Everything you needed to cook a meal was there also - pots, knives, chopping boards, oil, salt, pepper.
There were comfy reclining armchairs and a double sofa in front of the wall hung TV, so perfect for 4 people.
Another seating area on the deck plus table meant we could have eaten outside if we had wanted (It was a bit too chilly to do that in mid December - so different from the heat of Sydney.)
The views were to die for - simply stunning location looking back over Mt Roland. Mesmerising. I could have sat on the deck all day...
We loved having our base in West Kentish and spent 2 days exploring Cradle Mountain and nearby areas. A fabulous place to drop out. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back...

Just a suggestion that it might be helpful to have a couple of hooks on the back of bedroom doors and bathroom to hang nighties, towels, etc.

The entire experience at Manna Hill Farm was exceptional. The house, the property, the hosts, the animals, this was really a beautiful part of our Tasmanian trip, we wished we could have stayed for longer!

We loved the picture perfect farm setting with sensational view of the mountains, lovely hosts and amber the cutie dog, plus some very cute livestock to boot, super happy and would highly recommend 😊

The views were to die for. We have stayed in a dozen Tasmanian properties and this was by far the best. The hosts were a delight. Lovely goodie basket, so peaceful and green with glorious mountain views.

The cabins are just perfect. Modern and well appointed from the quality towels, heated bathroom floor, gas fire place, electric blankets and full kitchen, stocked with all the basics and a beautiful welcome hamper. Not to mention the breathtaking view!! The hosts are helpful and accommodating but not imposing. Amazing value for money compared to other offerings in the vicinity where you either get a lot less for your money or pay an awful lot more for a high standard.

We have never stayed in such a immaculately clean place - everything looked brand new. And the attention to the smallest details was incredible and the generosity of the owners in providing a lovely hamper with delicious goodies when we arrived was very spoiling.
And the views of Mt. Roland were incredible, they have to be seen to be believed.

Eileen and Simon were the most wonderful hosts who were happy to spend time showing us around their property especially the animals. The kids loved feeding and tending to the sheep and chickens as well as befriending the most friendly border collie. The place was immaculate with panoramic views of Mount Roland and surrounds. Very generous hamper of Tasmanian goodies. Could not recommend more highly!

We had the most wonderful stay at Manna Hill. The facilities were outstanding, Simon and Eileen thought of everything to make our stay so comfortable. It was exceptionally clean and their communication prior to our stay was excellent. They even provided a high quality cot and high chair for our little bub and he got the chance to feed the sheep and pat the chickens. The location was so beautiful with an incredible outlook from our own verandah and the cottage was very spacious with all the best furnishings and what a welcome pack! It was so lovely to sit on the deck and watch the sun set. Certainly our favourite stay throughout our travels in Tassie and will be back one day.

The location of the accommodation is picturesque, wth a view across valleys to a stunning mountain backdrop. The cottage was well heated (needed for an elevated location in Tasmania) and spotlessly clean. There was a nice welcome hamper and two comfortable king beds. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and there were games to play and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. The town of Sheffield is about 10 minutes drive away.
The bedrooms are a little tight for luggage to be easily accessed and four adults might find the cottage a little small for an extended stay. The last part of the road to the property is unpaved.

Location was picture perfect. View was beautiful from our accomodation. Eileen and Simon were lovely hosts. Amber their dog gave us a warm friendly welcome upon arrival. The cabin was very comfortable, warm and relaxing and set up like a little home away from home. Nice touch receiving a hamper of food and fresh eggs too. Bed was very comfortable and enjoyed relaxing in front of the fire after a big day of sightseeing.

What an amazing stay I couldn’t more highly recommend. The views are to die for, Simon and Eileen are the most welcoming friendly hosts, everything is thought of. The cottage has everything you would need, really well furnished even floor heating in the bathroom! Fresh eggs from the chickens each morning to got with your welcome basket. Great location for exploring the area I’ll be back for sure!!

Everything was great! The cottage was clean and comfortable and warm. The view was breathtaking! I could look at it all day long. Hosts (and doggo) were lovely and accommodating and got us a bbq to use for dinner one night. Everything is exactly like the pictures online. Loved every moment here and hope to return

Oh where to start! If I could rate it 6 star I would. Location amazing with fantastic view of Mt Roland, quiet but not far to Sheffield. Beds comfortable with quality linen & big thick towels in bathroom (not something you often see). Heated towel rails, heated bathroom floor, efficient heating in lounge area. Hosts supplied a very very generous welcome basket. The kitchen facilities were excellent, everything you could possibly need & lovely quality utensils & kitchen ware. Highly recommend a stay at these cottages with such friendly hosts.
