Cedar Falls #8
Cabin was clean and comfortable. Maintenance came quickly to replace light bulbs and smoke detector battery. The only negative was I did not receive the door code in the app as I was told I would. When I called the office I was told a message was left on my cell phone. I never got that message. When I arrived back home the message was on my home phone which had been listed as alternate and not the travel phone.

Great house for the price
Home was in a good location to all attractions. The house was clean but bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. More than enough space for everyone. Wish the community pool was clean so we could have enjoyed it.

Heritage Fellowship Women's Retreat
I highly recommend that the cleaning department start laying a set of clean sheets on the bed. They do not have to make them up. However, we had to go through 3 chalets and make sure their were sheets for each set of bunks. If they were placed on the beds it would be easier and more hospitable.

Thumbs up to a nice chalet
I stayed in the cedar falls chalet during rod run weekend 2016. My biggest concern was the location but it turned out to be easily found and close by. When they said its directly across from Dollywood they meant it. You could use veterans Blvd to bypass all of the traffic and reach the chalet in no time. Definitely going to use Eden crest again. Plus the price could not be beat.

Christmas in the smokies
It was a great price and great location, close to town. Very nice cabin. However, there was a lighting issue in the front "main" bathroom. Only the vanity lights worked. I called the office when I noticed it at 5:05 pm so the workers had gone home and was told someone would be out first thing the next morning. Nobody ever came and my elderly parents struggled showering as the lighting was dim in the walk in shower they needed to use. Outside of that, the experience was fine. Maybe look into the black marks across the ceiling throughout the main living/dining/kitchen area. That can't all be from the fireplace. We had a good time overall though.

Best place for a group to stay!
My family has been doing an annual weekend stay in the smoky mountains for 5 years now and this was definitely the best place we've stayed in. The chalet was clean, furnished well and beautifully, roomy and well-lit, and not way up the side of a mountain. We were very pleased and will very likely stay here again next year.

My family vacation went great. My family truly enjoyed themselves. The house had plenty of space and accommodated everyone comfortably.

Our stay was short, but we were pleased with the well appointed property. Our party of 10 had more than enough room to be comfortable.

In need of maintenance
Overall, we had a good time. This property is in need of general maintenance. Security lights and pathway lights did not work. Games in game room were not in functioning order. Property is advertised as sleeps 18 but actually sleeps 17 max. There is no sleep sofa. There is a trip hazard coming out of the bunk room. Main toilet and shower had mold but this may have been due to length of time between rentals. Refrigerator works well but looks horrible. Love the ease in the reservation/checkout process! Really close to parkway, plenty of parking. Beds were very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen.

Great cabin!
Property is well located for attractions. Very clean and spacious. Appreciate it being pet friendly. Needs lights in showers and outside lamp posts replaced. I will rent this again.

Frustrating Start
The cabin was nice and in a great location, but we had a frustrating start. We arrived 2 hours early and called to request an early check in. They said we would have to wait till it was inspected. We waited and saw no inspection and received our door code at 3:59 PM. The door code did not work so we had to call for assistance. The maintenance man arrived 25 minutes later to let us in. Our alarm code was also wrong so the alarm went off. (We heard 2 other alarms go off around that same time.) Maintenance man had to call to get a code to shut off the alarm. We did not have a welcome pack in our cabin and the office staff said they could not bring it to us. So we had to waste 40 minutes in traffic to retrieve the welcome pack from the office. The fireplace set off all the smoke detectors so we could not use them. Frustrating is putting it mildly when spending $320 per night. Other than those service issues the cabin was fine.

The property was well maintained and very clean. We had all our children there for our 50th anniversary and we had plenty of room along with our privacy.

Our family vacation 2015
This cabin is in a very good location if you are going to Dollywood or Pigeon is very easy to find and a very nice place to stay.
The Kids loved the swimming pool in the afternoons when we finished sight seeing and shopping.The rental personal were very nice and family enjoyed our stay in this cabin.

Okay, but disappointing
This was my 6th time staying in a cabin through Eden Crest. All previous times had been great, including the two previous times I’d stayed in this exact cabin, but this time was disappointing.
About 1 pm on Wednesday, July 25th, we headed to the cabin because I got the message in the app with the door code. We tried it and it didn’t work. I called Eden Crest, and the person I spoke to on the phone was rude saying “it doesn’t matter if you get the code in the app, you have to get it in a text message, that’s when the cabin is ready.” He said the inspector still had to come and once the inspector gave it the all clear, we could go in. We decided to leave stuff on the porch and go about our day. As we were leaving, the inspector showed up. He had a horrible attitude. He said, “Did they already let you in?” I explained to him the situation. He said he needed to go through the cabin. He did and tells us that there were a few things he needed to fix. We said, “can we at least set our stuff inside?” He said, with a very sarcastic and rude attitude “Well if they said you could go in, then go ahead.” So, we try to go in and the door is locked again. And at this point, the inspector has jumped in his truck and already left.
Frustrated, we left. About 3:30 pm we get the text with the door code. The door code sent in the text wasn’t the same as the one in the app. What’s the purpose of sending the code in the Eden Crest App when a) it doesn’t mean anything, because the cabin wasn’t ready and b) IT’S THE WRONG CODE!
When we arrived back at the cabin around 7:30 pm, we were in a hurry to get the two young kids to bed. Turns out, there was only one pair of full size sheets for the bottom bunk, and the rest were twin sheets. We weren’t going to put the kids on the top bunk, so we took sheets off one of the queen beds in a

Excellent cabin in a wonderful location
Very comfortable, well kept cabin. Went in group with 6 adults and 4 kids and still had extra room for more people. Added bonuses of hot tub on the covered deck and a grill that gets hotter quicker than any grill I've ever used.
Only critique, and it's a small one, is the need for better cookware in the kitchen, basically burnt our breakfast every day with the lack of non stick fry pans.

Cedar Falls Review
We had a great time as always. This is the second year in a row we have rented this cabin. Only disappointment was the fact that the beds had been changed around a little bit, and this created a little bit of a sleeping issue for us. Otherwise, it was great!

Another trip to the mountains
We have been going to Pigeon Forge area for 20+ years not. We have used Eden Crest for cabins for most of our trips. This was our second time to rent Cedar Falls #8 in 3 months. We enjoy the cabin and its location. Easy to get to and from cabin location to town. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. Kitchen well supplied for cooking.
Now the not so good, as I stated we stayed there in Sept 2018. Due to a hurricane, we had to make a last minute change of plans and ended up at this cabin. We enjoy the cabin except for the problem with the refrigerator’s automatic icemaker. It had malfunctioned and water had frozen to it and causing the door to the freezer section to drag (actually frozen shut). In addition, Icemaker did not work so we had to buy ice for our stay. Not a big deal. We lived with the no ice issue for this trip and during checkout, I reported it to Eden Crest rep. that the icemaker had malfunctioned so it could be repaired.
So one would think after three 3 months, this item would have been repaired. However, we again had no ice and a frozen freeze door. You would also think that inspection person would have noted that the freezer section door and icemaker were frozen when they inspect the unit before each rental. It’s a shame that we pay good money and I know this is not a big deal but you would think that Eden crest would make the owner repair this or drop them from their rental program for failure to repair there equipment. I again, at checkout, let Eden Crest know about the issue and was told “OK”.

We loved our cabin and will rent again in the summer! We have been renting these cabins since 2004!Very pleased...
Very few issues like: would love bigger pots and pans for the kitchen, cooking meals for lg. family! Lights out in showers, needs replacing! Could use new bed spreads, as some had previous stains. Thanks for the new living room furniture!

Birthday Weekend
We rented this cabin for a weekend. More than enough space for 9. Very clean, plenty of hot water.
Our issues were the WiFi didn't work called the desk and they said we didn't have internet. The code was wrong on the paper we were given at check in.On the router was the correct code. The code on the activity center was in correct and we had to contact the main desk. New code given, but didnt say anything about the security alarm.
Refrig. very old with frost in the freezer. Kitchen sink had a bad seal so leaked water below. We called to report.
The area around the house had broken glass and the steps on the walkway to pool were in very bed repair. Maintenance of the pool area was lacking.

Excellent Property for large group
We were well pleased with this property and the location. There were only a couple minor things that need to be repaired. One was the hand rail on the stair case and the other was the bottom step. The Chalet was very clean and up to date and served our needs very well. We certainly would love to stay here again...
