Nichts wir haben die Unterkunft nach der einzigen und ersten Horrornacht sofort verlassen!

Die Zimmer waren durch einen permanenten und sehr stark anhaltenden Gestank bedeckt. Sodass man sich ekelte, allein ins Zimmer zu gehen. Darüber hinaus befand sich beim zweiten betreten des Zimmer (Ratten- oder Mausekot) plus Bettwanzen auf dem Bett. Einfach nur schrecklich. Sofort alle Sachen gepackt und in eine neue Unterkunft. Über das Personal braucht man nicht anfangen zu reden. Reagieren nicht über Booking und bei Ansprache der Fakten, sei es nicht möglich das Kot etc. auf dem Bett ist. (Video hatte ich gefertigt) Um das Problem wurde sich nicht gekümmert und auch nichtmal das Zimmer überprüft oder gereinigt. Pünktlich um 16:00 Uhr wurde aber Feierabend gemacht. Keine Erreichbarkeiten erhalten, sodass zu dem ganzen genannten zusätzlich auch kein Strom mehr verfügbar war. Niemals diese Unterkunft wieder!

Dirty and not representative of the picture, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Location and the cleaning lady was very sweet and try to help us when we needed help ( even if she could’nt do much)

The room was very dirty: stained sheet and pillow, insects in the badroom. Hot water didn’t work, the owner is unreachable (travelling) so we can even ask for a refund. It took almost 24h for a person to be at the counter at the reception, we didn’t have the wifi code because of that and couldn’t ask any question. We check in ourselves because there was a paper with are name and our room at the reception and the key was at the door. The shared kitchen is disgusting, which was a bug issu for us, because we like to cook our own breakfast.

Practical and central

Nice environment and the kitchen facilities was really good. We we´re able to make both breakfast and lunch there.

The wifi was supposed to be working but it was not working for anyone our whole stay

Don’t come here

Nothing. It was awful, don’t come here. Disgusting rooms that not looks like the pictures. We booked 5 nights and still hasn’t got any refund back or anyone answering us

Adequate

Location and price and you can use the kitchen if your properly on a budget. Aircon in the rooms is good too Is great for budget travelers

No wifi. You have to go outside over sand path to shower and toilet which are less than inviting.

Les dortoirs sont équipés de rideau et de la climatisation. Possibilités de mettre ses affaires personnels dans tes placards à fermer soi même avec un cadenas

Le chemin pour y accéder quand il pleut est compliqué. Il ne faut pas avoir peur d’avoir les pieds mouillés.

Poor. Left a day early

Location was alright and pretty cheap

AC barely worked. Door wouldn’t lock properly. Shared toilets and shower were not very nice. No Wi-Fi at all despite being advertised

Disappointing. We booked a private room but not worth the penny.

Lot of things they still need to work on - weak water supply for bathrooms. Can’t really bath properly. - dusty and broken aircon. - they have 2 lavatory but only 1 is working. - unreliable wifi connection - no bidet or water supply in toilet cubicle

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, aber kein Luxus.

Die Lage ist super, nur eine Querstraße zur belebten Tourism Road. In der Gemeinschaftskücher habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Dort kann man sich einen Kaffee machen oder Essen kochen sowie mit anderen Reisenden quatschen.

Das Zimmer war sehr einfach ausgestattet und schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, leider auch nicht ganz sauber. Das WLAN hat leider überhaupt nicht funktioniert.

We really enjoy the time with the people in our room, the bed was comfy. but the rest wasn’t the best.

Our room was clean, and the location was good.

You have just 2 toilets and 2 shower for all the people, also don’t have pressure in the showers, was difficult to have a shower. You don’t have a really nice area to be if you are not in your room.

Great for value, it's still a place I can recommend to friends.

Got the venue for value. It's close to all the establishments in GL but at the same time it's quiet enough. You can cook and have free water. Saves us money on food and water. The room was comfortable enough.

Wifi is not working and the data is not very good. There's a lot of mosquitoes. The room isn't tiled/carpeted so it's not really the cleanest bit at times when you are coming from trips.

a sweet place to stay on a budget.

It was exactly what it advertised it to be, it was welcoming and I had a family like breakfast the next day. One of the more sweet and authentic experiences I had in General Luna. Also the bedding was quite clean.

The path from the bathroom to the room was sandy so my feet got dirty while going back to the room.

Awful, one of the worst places I have stayed.

We arrived at Lukay on the 29th June and once we arrived in the room the smell of mold was awful. The room was so un clean and not a nice place to stay so we immediately moved to a different hotel. There was dirt on the bed sheets and all over the walls and also the lock was broken so we felt unsafe and there was no staff on the premises to help.

Fun and memorable. We enjoyed it

Location not too far from the main road. Comfortable dorm room, able to meet and mingle with new people. Friendly receptionist. Love the dogs especially mama dog ❤️

Island and homestay businesses are still recovering from typhoon Odette, it’s understandable that repairs are still ongoing.

Very good

Simple yet effective. Not much there but a good place to stay as a base and then go other places to hang out.

The aircon in our room didn’t work very well at all. After our first night the installed small fan by every bed which made a huge difference.

Was greeted by the rats and cockroaches in my room.

Enjoy a good nights sleep with Rats, Cockroaches, Spiders and plenty of dirt. Freshen up in one of Lukays well equipped prison showers and enjoy helpful personell that don’t have access to their booking.com account in case you want to cancel :). The owner of the hostel is sitting at France „not answering his staffs calls“. Definitely the worst hostel I‘ve stayed in within my 3 months backpacking trip.

Disappointing

the location pretty close to main street with cafe restaurant beach..

very different from the photos. Toilet paper is often missing in the toilets. I've never seen them clean the rooms. there were many cockroaches. I even saw a huge one on my upstairs curtain. nothing to do with the hotel, but the rest of the room was very noisy and disrespectful.

Mice and rats

The people who work there and the people I met.

If you don't mind sleeping with mice and rats in your room and see them in the kitchen counter, this is your place. Also, you couldn't take a shower because the smell of the water is horrible, stay in your body and hair. When it rains a lot, there are big puddles everywhere. I don't recommend you staying in this place!

Worst place I’ve been to

Water from the tap/shower smells horrendous, we had to use water from the rain to shower ourselves. Rats and bugs in the bungalow, my friend found a baby rat under his bed one morning. Staff was really cold with the guests and the reception was empty almost all the time. The entrance of the hotel is a bit dug so you have to go through a swimming pool when it rains. The bungalow I was in was much more damaged than what is shown on the pictures (holes in the roof). The mosquito net was absent though. Tried to get a refund of the remaining nights to leave but the owner didn’t even answer us. Please avoid this place before they change it (hopefully).

Pleasant

Comfortable bed, aircon worked well. Staff friendly and their dogs were lovely to be around. Helpful to have a kitchen, fridge, filtered water. Shop just next door.

No WiFi until last day of our stay. Often no toilet roll in communal toilets and they could have been much cleaner, only 1 mirror for both sinks. However this was budget accommodation. Our room felt damp generally though we visited during rainy season and the resort was often flooded, but not at the owners fault.

Nice experience!

The staff are really friendly and helpful! Makes you feel at home. Thanks to Ate and the other two girls (May and her sister) The location is great too as it is close to everything. If you want to save money, you can cook and ask the ladies where the local market is to buy cheaper groceries and seafood for cooking. The bed in the dormitory has its own socket for charging your gadgets and curtains for privacy.

I had amazing time here especially I was at same room of the dear friend of mine I tried to catch up before she fly back. met lovely people here too and the ate in front desk is such a sweetheart
