A great choice for a well priced city break stay in Colombo.

I regularly stay with Suresh at this conveniently located and well priced guest house. Suresh is professional and friendly, the rooms are clean and pleasant, with good bathrooms, and the location is ideal for exploring Colombo.

- sehr netter und bemühter Besitzer - sauberes Zimmer - für 1 Person ausreichend Platz - Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten in der nähe

- Baustellen Lärm ab 10 Uhr aber dafür kann das Hotel ja nichts - ohne AC wird es doch recht schnell warm im Zimmer (ich bin eben jemand der mit laufender AC über Nacht schnell Krank wird daher lass ich Sie meistens aus )

Good value for money

Breakfast was fabulous. Room was spotlessly clean and the wi-fi worked perfectly. It's quite far from the city centre, but you get there quickly and cheap with a tuc tuc.

Rooms are really small, everything else was great.

Clean and friendly

The staff was lovely and really accommodating considering how late we arrived. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The only thing I would have changed were the pillows as they were really soft.

Feels like home

Excellent place to stay , very clean and comfortable 👌🏻 They are offering 24 hrs accessible kitchen and living room , feels like home 🏡 Highly recommended.

Construction works are going on in a near by building, you may feel noisy at day time

A great stay at Visakha!

We had a lovely, warm welcome to the property.m by the staff who were always really friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and there is a fantastic restaurant opposite.

It is a tuktuk ride away from the main train stations but we were already aware of this so it didn’t bother us.

Quiet place in a green neighborhood

One feels at home immediately. Very clean and quiet- except the eventual noise of a water pump in room nr. 5. It's not a big deal but it disturbed me at night. Benjamin, the manager is lovely, he goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable.

Exceptional Stay

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Visakha 6 Hotel. The room exceeded expectations, offering a comfortable bed and ample space, including a spacious bathroom. Nice clean room, in a local area on the outskirts of the city. Good AC.

A little far out from the city centre, roughly 45min walk/ 500LKR tuk tuk, but not a major issue

Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo, bella e nuova struttura, molto curata. Personale molto accogliente e disponibile.

Lenzuola con un paio di macchie su uno dei due letti e il condizionatore presenta un poco di muffa dove esce l’aria condizionata.

Agonizing stay here

The manager is very helpful, speaks good English, nice man

When I reached, there was power outage of 6 hours. I checked in in the candlelight. The hotel does not have generator. It was agonizing to find way in the dark, I skidded in the bathroom in pitch darkness. Next day I got five stitches near the eye SLR 9500 expenses. All lies : no paid breakfast, not allowed to cook, no tumble dryer, .poor Wifi, biting mosquitoes, far from R. Sttion, no ironing facility, soiled linen, no hot water in the bathroom as no water heater. Extremely overpriced. SLR 11000 without breakfast. Outrageous. Booking. com should remove this property.

Toller Gastgeber, gutes Zommer, kleiner Preis

Benjamin war ein toller Gastgeber. Hat ich um alles gekümmert und war immer zur stelle. Das haus ist sehr schön und es roch wirklich sehr gut. Die gemeinschaftsküche hatte alles was man benötigt. Die Zimmer waren groß genug und sehr sauber.

Comfortable stay in Colombo

We really enjoyed our stay at Visakha 6. The room was clean and comfortable. We even watched a little of the TV that had a lot of channels. It was great for our first night stay in Colombo and Ben is a very nice host. Also well located on a quiet street, quite close to the coast and only 10 mins tuk tuk to the train station. Would definitely stay again!

We booked a room at Visakha 6 for the final night of our holiday as we had an early flight the next morning. It offered a convenient location for an overnight stay - clean and comfortable with good service and helpful information provided by the host (Tuk Tuk to dinner and taxi to the airport).

We had a nice stay and would recommend it to fellow travelers

It’s very clean, staffs are very friendly and kind. All the wall paintings give a nice touch up to the whole place. It’s near the main road so one can easily find cheap restaurants and supermarkets.

We wish that it would be possible for guests to use the open kitchen for simple cooking, like boiling noodles and so on.

Simple, functional, very quiet and clean. The host had answers to all of our questions and gave good advice, for example where to eat and how much one should pay for tuk-tuk.

Benjamin is a good soul who will try his best to make your stay as close to perfect as possible! Rooms are clean, bright and spacious. Many international sockets everywhere and enough room to store your luggage. Beds are amazingly comfortable! I liked the location with several restaurants and shops in walking distance while being quiet at night. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back whenever I'm in Colombo again!

Great host and great room

Benjamin the host is great men. He welcomed us so nicely. He also speak very good English. Acommodation is also great , nice room in a safe neigbourhood. Location is also good not far from centar with tuk tuk. We felt here like at our home. I would highly recommend this place in Colombo.

Ask for Benjamin, he will make your stay in srilanka wonderful This place is considered a home in srilanka, they designed the small hotel to make you feel you're in your home, and Benjamin make it true, he will become your friend in a minute and he will help you with everything. Great rooms with a perfect location. Coffee and water for free which is amazing to have. A/C works perfectly and the rooms are very clean. Highly recommend this place in Colombo.

Hospitality is 👍

The owner is very helpfull. He gave good tips for malls and restaurants. The room is good and the shower is great. Breakfast also good. You can walk or take tuktuk to nice places. We will recommend the street food named Cinema, nearby along the railway station at the beach.

We stayed in room 6, nice to wake up with the smell from the kitchen.
