The perfect location

excellect location very close to Rossio subway statio and the most important places to visit in Lisbon.

There is o reception service in the morning and you feel when other guest o workers try to enter to your room at night. It happened 3 times during my stay. OMG

Amplasament excelent, foarte curat

Foarte curat, peste asteptari, mai bine decat in poze! Personalul foarte de treaba, a curatat zilnic camera.

Ca amplasament foarte central, excelent! Insa din pacate in zona la parter sunt mai multi oameni dubiosi, dar si echipaje de politie sunt detasate in permanenta aici.

Don’t recommend. No good communication. But good location.

The location was really close to Praça do comercio and other attractions. And it was pretty clean.

Other than the location, I would not really recommend this place. The “hotel” is inside a building where other people live. We couldn’t even find it at first as there was only a small sign with the name of the hotel on it. And apparently it was a self check in but we didn’t get any messages with information. The outside door of the building and the door to the rooms had a code, so we were standing outside for like half an hour until someone who lives there opened the door. I tried calling them and messaging them, and they answered after half an hour. We even met another group waiting to check in the next day that had the same problem as us, they also didn’t get any message with check in information. The room didn’t look like the photos at all and was really small. They even woke us up one day at like 9:00 so we pay the city tax, and it had to be in cash. The handle to the shower was even broken but we managed to get it to stay upright to shower.

that was central

all the rest. terrible service. you arrive at the property and no one is there. They say that is self check in but they do not send details of how to check in, no one answers the phone and it lacks of any security, doors open … only received email at 10.22 pm - a terrible way to start your holidays

easy access to train station.

noisy neighborhood. very slow check in process took an hour for personnel to show up. kitchen was locked during it’s posted open hours.

The price and the location

There is no one at the reception. I had to wait more than 2 hours to check in. The receptionist attends other two hotels.

a very nice olace to stay

it was a beautiful old building with nice atmosphere and at a great location

there was some mold in the bathroom, we had to keep windows open for some time because one of us is sensitive to it. one door to th balcony could not be closed but it did not cause any issue for us as we like fresh air.

Don't stay here not safe

The bed was comfortable

The staff didn't speak English, nor were they contactable at any point. By shere luck it seems someone was there when I arrived but I didn't see a single staff member the rest of the time. Tried to contact by phone, email and by booking.com and got no response. The corridors were dark, the doorways incredibly narrow. No security with doors wedged open all the way down to the street and this doesn't feel like a safe place at all. Constantly cat called walking up to the hotel, one charming gentlemen displayed his genitals when I passed. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. The whole place smelled mouldy and the lights didn't work. Paper thin walls and the community in the street will play loud music into the early hours as well as hearing people coming and going at odd times, presumably for trains/flights etc. Cut my foot badly in the shower due to a broken tray and wires were dangling out of the ceiling. Window in my bathroom was clear, not frosted, and wouldn't shut. This window looked directly into another guests room, as a solo female this made me feel very vulnerable. Woken up twice by someone trying to enter my room, no peephole to check if it was a misguided tourist or someone who had wandered in off the street as nothing to stop anyone doing just that.

Don't make my mistake, don't book this place!

The location was convenient. This is the only thing that the place has going for it

It was terribly noisy. Outside of pensoa us super trashy and a little scare. The room did not have any desk, table, crudenza or any flat surface to put thing on The lighting was poor with 1/2 of light fixtures not working. I booked a double room, but our room had 2 twins beds. The carpet on floor looked so disgusting that i was unable to do any floor exercise/stretching. The bathroom looked newer but towel bar was broken, light over sink was not working. One window was nearly impossible to close, and i could go on....

Amazing position, but that's all

The building is in terrible condition, maintenance needs to be done ASAP! What's more serious: we had told them that we would have arrived around midnight, yet there was no one to check in. We managed to enter the building together with other guests and once we got to the "lobby" we met an elderly couple in our condition, they had been waiting there for at least one hour! We were able to reach a manager by phone only after many attempts. Besides the major inconvenience, nobody offered to "pay back" us in any way, they barely apologized. Absolutely not recommended.

the room was only equipped with the minimum, a bed , a wardrobe and 2 chairs . Cracks in the wall, a very dirty carpet and mold in the bathroom, also mold smell in the room and hallway

The owner is misogynist

First of all on the first day we and 2 other groups, had to wait for almost 3 hours to someone send the door code to us. I was about to book another hotel because we were worried that we would not have a room to stay over the night. Than once I was already there I asked to see if they had availability because I had intention of stay so I would avoid to pass by it again. So I talked to the owner Andre. When they found out that I was born in Brazil but also had a Canadian citizenship, looks like the Portuguese owner don’t like the country(Brazil). So he was very stupid and was misogyny with me so much that I went to the police station to press charges. The situation was unbelievable. The police said that I needed to wait for 2 hours to press charges. As I had to find another place to stay I had to left the police station without press charges. But I’ll still try tomorrow. People like the owner of this hostel can’t do this with clients. As I’m in a foreign country, and not staying for long it’s very difficult to make justice. But please avoid this hotel

The hotel is located in an old house, the furniture is old, the plumbing is old. I did not like the location, a lot of homeless people in the evening.

Value for money! Could be nicer!

It is pretty central. The cost was also quite good considering the location. The staff is nice and helpful. Washroom was clean. And there were daily cleaning service.

The building is old and the hallways are too narrow. Floor carpet was dirty with literal stains on it. There weren’t any soap/shampoo in the washroom. The area is just too noisy. You can hear people shouting and fighting on the street even with your windows closed. 24-hour reception IS NOT available. I had to leave my key in my room and leave for the airport as there were no one in the reception at around 9am.

Very bed experience

Only a good location.

The main gate to the building was closed and nobody gave us the code to open it. Visitors who get out open the door. No check-in staff at the reception. On the second day, one room cleaner spoke very poor English and did our check-in with difficulties. 2-day water leaks from the ceiling of our room and nobody cared, simply because the owner doesn`t respond to messages.
