You’re part of the family
A great stay where Hope, Robert and Isaac really made us feel at home. Robert and Isaac took us on a lovely walk and even challenged us to a few games of pool. Hope is a superb cook and went out of his way to drive us into town and help us sort out our bus tickets. They couldn’t have been lovelier.

A wonderful experience
Truly eco, truly local, truly amazing! This homestay is not a Fancy lodge but trust me it Worth than lodges. Everything was great during our stay here, so having free cooking classes with amazing Hope and Swahili classes was beyond my wish. I also highly recommend to book your Safari with them. I had 4 days sharing safari with reasonable price! They own our company "AFRICA MAGIC HOLIDAYS" which will give you the best of the best. Safari was one of the best experiences of my life. Thanks to our wonderful guide Justin, delicious food from Hope & Yaya and the politeness of the Lazaro who he never was tired answer my questions. He also came to pick me airport for only $40 while taxi cabs Charge $70..Lazaro gave me free ride to show me the city for two days . It’s a massive YES for me :) and I will probably come back again

Arrived as guests and left as friends
Hope was an amazing host for our homestay! He even organised that his friend Yaya showed us around and explained us the culture of the local community. He provided all inclusive food and beverage. We taught each other food recipes and language skills - like friends!

Superb
This place is for everyone, who loves to join locals in the way they live their life in a kind of tropical garden located at the end of a village. Great hospitality.
My expectations of the place after reading the profile was different to the reality. Maybe some misunderstanding. Anyway we had a good time

I stayed for around one week and I loved it!
You'll get a basic small house shared with one really nice guy who's preparing food and caring about everything. He'll definitely make you fell comfortable. There are also two basic private rooms (just a bed and a wardrobe) and a private bathroom for yourself. But you can also use the shared area with sitting area and big table. It's located in a more calm, but enjoyable area (walking to center ~1h or boda-boda).
For me, it was a perfect spot. But don't expect a European / US-American high-standard: There are power cuts and since there is no water storage, you'll also not have tap water at that times. Wi-Fi just via cellular, but relatively stable.

Exceptional
Everything was amazing! We were met with so much kindness and hospitality. Hope cooked the best food for us that our kids loved with fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden. Our kids played with the kids from the family next door. And everybody were genuinly warm and friendly.

Warmly recommended
As I wrote in my previous review this is a guest house I would recommend to any traveller who is curious to learn more about everyday life in TZ. The facilities are very basic but clean, but the food is excellent and the place has a nice vibe. The location is a bit outside the city center in a relatively poor area, but it feels very safe. The staff was extremely helpful and made me feel at home. I can really recommend this place - unless you just want to stay in a US/European standard hotel room on your way between Kili and Serengeti.

Excellent experience!
I was extremely well taken care of by Hope. He showed me around in the area and also took me to Arusha national park. The breakfast and dinners prepared were also excellent and I never had any issues with my stomach. The place is simple but clean and has a nice vibe. In short, Arusha Holiday Safari is an excellent place to stay if you really want to get to know Tanzania during your stay. If you want to stay in a hotel that is like any place back home, you can stay in Palace hotel or Sheraton, but if you are curious and want to see a bit of true Tanzania I can fully recommend AHS. I will surely stay here next time around.
