A Satisfactory Stay in Santiago

The room was small, but had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, there was a fridge and hot water. The lighting options were numerous. The wifi worked very well.

I rang the bell for reception (which is in a building opposite where the rooms are) a number of times, and had to wait a while for the woman to come and check me in. I also rang a few times when I was leaving, and in the end I left the key in the room and went without seeing anyone.

Not good value for money

The staff was unfriendly, the terrace I had didn’t have a protection and so it was very unsafe. The room was too expensive for what if offered. There was a window but the room is very dark

Affordable, good location and clean. Nothing luxurious but that did the job for what we needed!

It was clean, quite good location, and the staff was very nice!

The room was quite small, and it was a bit loud in the morning.

En la página dice un precio pero allá dicen otra segun la página era 1300 pesos epico al llegar allá dice que es 1800 pesos.eso hay arreglar lo en la página el precio por la gente van con un cantidad exacta.

Bon pour nuit étape

Chambre et salle de bain propres. Bouteilles d'eau dans le frigo. Bien pour de passage 1 nuit. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Un accueil "étrange" pourtant après l'heure minimum d'arrivée, nous laissant patienter dans le bureau une demie heure sans savoir, sans nouvelles, laissant penser que la chambre n'était pas prête ( ? ), on ne saura pas. Rues proches assez bruyantes. A savoir : accès forcément au minimum par un escalier extérieur, non adapté donc aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Pas gênant pour nous toutefois.

Comfortable room. Newly renovated.

Small bathroom. Stairs outside kind of uncomfortable.

Doing renovation with guests in the Hostal (especially a small house) is not a good idea.

Mr. Leandro is an excellent person. He made sure to make me feel better than my own home. The laundry, and buying food and beverages, were things Mr. Leandro help me with to ensure I got everything done right.

The owner is doing renovations on Alegria Hostal as I am writing these words. The noises of drilling machines and the hammering are not good for the mind. People travel for business, vacations, and personal issues. Noise and peace of mind do not mix.

new, modern decor, clean, good location. Best internet I’ve found in the DR. Nice flatscreen with Netflix and YouTube.

a great little spot in the heart of Santiago De Los Caballeros

no parking. we got lucky, but parking could be a complication here. also, very tight roads.

Very new and fresh. Good value for money.

The room was extremely small. It’s not easy to find. I would have had trouble with getting in without a local SIM card and possibly to call to the hotel.

The decorations of the room and it's was conffy enough for our night stay. it is worth for the price and has a good tv with netflix included.

The room was very pretty and the staff treat us just like home.

The bed was comfortable, love the decoration and the hot water.

There were hair on the bed and some dust on the decorations.

Good location and nice lights

We booked a large room on the first floor, then they told us it wasn't available anymore and they put us in an extremely small room to the second floor (very steep stairs with heavy luggage) . The host didn't look very happy to welcome us.

Small clean modern hotel for a good price

Very nice small hotel. Rooms are very clean with high quality features - lighting, air conditioner, etc. Room may be small for some but I found it very cozy.

Reception is a little confusing. Better to call the phone number on the reservation. There are some door chimes - not sure where they ring to. Maybe a sign on the door explaining what to do would be helpful.
