The location near Kamakura station is convenient. Also easy to get to the beach.
It was noisy until quite late as there were people hanging out in the café, which is right next to the dorm. It was a Saturday and I understand that people want to hang out, but they weren’t even considerate enough to close the door to the dorm. It was also confusing as some of them weren’t even guests so I wondered why they weren’t hanging out elsewhere, like a bar.
The only reasons for staying here is that it’s walking distance from the station and cheap. But for what I got, I felt it was overpriced!

Tiny colourful place with a great vibe. Has a café where you can have really good coffee in the morning.

check-in is a breeze and generally the comfort and cleanliness of the property is acceptable. In-room amenities is complimented.
May not be the fault of the property, but the vicinity and the surrounding is overly quite for me. Not much shops or eatery outlets within the 500m distance.

The location.
We did NOT enjoy staying at Ohmachi Junxion at all. It is very cheaply put together which is disappointing because Kamakura is such a lovely place. The bunk beds look like they are homemade and on wheels so when the person on the top bunk moves, the whole thing moves. I did not know how I was going to fall asleep on the first night. The curtains are ripped and falling apart. It's a very small space with no ventilation so if people hang their wet towels up, the whole place smells. There is only one toilet and one shower for 8 people if it is full. The common areas need to be cleaned more often with so many people. It has a strange vibe. I could not wait to leave this place every morning, and we stayed out late so we didn't have to spend time there. We had booked and paid for five nights, so couldn't get our money back or I would have looked at other accommodation. So disappointing as it was our last days in beautiful Japan. There is really nice accommodation for cheaper in Kamakura if you book in advance.
Please give your hostel a makeover... it wouldn't take much to make it a nicer place and more enjoyable for people to stay. I've used booking.com a lot with my travels - it's a great website *** If a place is given "good" as a rating on this website, it most likely means BAD. Go for reviews that have a higher rating.

nothing.
We rented a room for three, the larger bed ended up being in a loft without any headroom, with a questionable spiral ladder to reach it. Lower level barely had room to move around bed. Online pictures generally misrepresent all aspects of what is there. At best this is a hostel, for those on a budget, and maybe a bargain for Kamakura but it is overpriced and over rated for what one can find a short train stop away. Questionable if it belongs on booking.com. We refused to stay after seeing room, and they refused to provide any refund.

There's free breakfast (cereal and coffee). The bed is comfortable and the toilet and showers are clean too. The staff were really friendly.
The shower room wall and floor are metal so it might be cold in the winter, I am not very sure because I went during summer so it was not too much of a prob.

Snoring of neighbor and movement of bunk bed.

Laid back, no fuss atmosphere. Ryo the host was great, room was fine, other guests respectful, facilities excellent, great spot outside to drink a beer and watch everything pass by!
Nothing - massively exceeded expectations for a hostel!

Great friendly stuff. They advised me wonderful beach in the area, it was super helpful.
Also, proper bed cover, not sandwich sheets, like in most cheap hostels. This is an advantage.
It is very bad place to sleep.
Street outside is super noisy.
You will hear every single car passing through.
In the morning they open door to street, so it becomes even more noisy.
Unless is extremely necessary, I won't stay here again.

The family room we stayed in is very comfortable with bunk and sofa beds and a kitchenette including a coffee machine. It was very quiet in the evening and night and near to lots of independent shops and restaurants. The staff are great, friendly and helpful.

This hostile is very convenient and very accessible to sightseeing spots and Kamakura station. Location is really nice. looks the modern style house I like.
I would like to suggest that bed space has hook to keep jacket and long T shirts.

All I can say is this place is wonderful

The location is very convenient — a short walk from Kamakura station and a straight walk to the beach. It's also in really good walking distance of various shrines and restaurants. The facilities were really clean and it was easy to share with others. The other tenants who stayed at the same time as me were also really nice, as was the staff. It was a very welcoming place.
I stayed in the dormitory area and if you're a light sleeper or really sensitive to sound or light, you might have some difficulty sleeping in the dorm. You can hear every little movement, especially if someone is on the bed above you. I was the only woman in the dorm, so I really struggled with all the men snoring — which was funny but also difficult to sleep through.

Very convenient location, great price.
Our room was kind of a loft which was convenient for sleeping upstairs.
A bit noisy but they provided ear plugs if needed.
Separate bathroom is what it is 😆

The staff were very welcoming and nice :)
Maybe it was because it had been raining all day, but the room was pretty humid, so despite being clean, the linen was also a bit humid :(

Staffs are nice and friendly and quiet indoor. The ourdoor couldn't be controled though.
Water was super hot like sauna. 👍
Free breakfast cereals and a cup of tea were delicilous. Free drink is also available from 10.
It was like sleeping next to the road and the weak bunker is moving when the other person moves.
