lift not working

The location was perfect, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The elevator did not work, so having 2 bags was a struggle.

It is a little noisy, but I think it is due to the perfect location.

The location is great, very close to Las Ramblas and main attractions in the Gothic City. Is well connected to the rest of the city, having close 2 metro lines that will take you to other main attractions. The guys from the reception were very helpful and always with a smiling face, ready to help.

There was a certain smell at the floor I have been, smell that I have felt in the room and also in the bed sheets. The bathroom had rusted pipes and faucets, that was a bit uncomfortable for me.

A clean room with a great view. Friendly and helpful staff. An excellent breakfast buffet. All in all an excellent hotel for a short break.

I would have liked a tea/coffee making facility in the room but this is a minor issue that didn’t affect the enjoyment of our stay.

It has everything you want in a hotel. Very clean, especially they clean it every day, wonderful location, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Also a good breakfast to start your day.

Nice breakfast, new towels and cleaning service every day, personel was very helpful.

It was cold inside the room

We chose this hostel based on the good reviews and the excellent location in the gothic quarter and it definitely met our expectations. The room was small but comfortable with a good bed, cooling and shower. I really enjoyed the little balcony to sit out on, have a drink and watch the people go by in the street below. Location can be noisy however it's great in terms of accessing public transport and walking along La Ramblas and heading to the central market. The included breakfast was excellent with a good variety given the small space available. We didn't try the onsite restaurant (with the exception of breakfast) but what we saw looked excellent.

Unfortunately the front glass door of the hotel had been smashed just prior to our arrival and the location is such that it is a bit of a thoroughfare for people drunkenly walking home, so we felt a little bit uneasy in this area - that said, it's an area I've stayed in before so I was kind of expecting it. Also, the hostel itself has good security measures and a 24 hour front desk so, despite anything that was going on in the street, we always felt safe inside.

Window was broken, keys were attached to key card, so the light went out everytime I needed to use the key, for the safe and locking the door at night. Needs a little updating, but most importantly clean rooms and bedding. Plus 24hr concierge. A little noisy, not from the outside but no soundproofing in the hotel

Staff here are good. The location and the view of the room is perfect.

Beddings are not that clean. For people who need extra quietness, you have to think twice. Plus, I don't know if it's Bacelona special, we don't have duvet or quilt in the room, just a blanket and a cover.

the receptionists for very nice and helpful, the location was great, the room was clean and cosy.

i would have liked a proper duvet and the towels to be really white. they were sort of oldish and gray and, although they were clean, they looked shabby. but this is a minor detail, i was all and all very happy with the stay!

Location was great, walking distance to the major sightseeings. Breakfast was very good, lots of different options to start the day.

Rooms are quite smaller than shown on the photos, bed is, sadly, uncomfortable and lastly, lots of noise from the street keeps you awake at nights. I know you cannot influence people on the street and keep them quiet but, perhaps, invest in better noise proof windows? Apart from these minor flaws, our weekend getaway was really memorable.

Location is great. Room size is good enough for 2 people. Staff were great! Super helpful and friendly!! Breakfast we enjoyed it everyday.
