This place was absolutely stunning! Location was fantastic as you are only a five minute walk away from the ocean and the longest pier in Canada plus all restaurants you could every need! The house was beautiful and the room was a great size with a wonderful ocean view. The room was very clean and a great size. The Staff were great. Spoke with Jane Li from the time that we booked and communication was great. Any questions I had were answered immediately! Karen the host was also fantastic. My mom had left some items behind when we left and Karen shipped them immediately via Canada Post. All in all what a great place to stay and a great price to top it off! Highly recommend

- The view was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed waking up to ocean views right from the bed. We also enjoyed our coffee by the window and lunch on the deck.
- The parking situation was great! Parking can of course be quite hard to find in a place like White Rock, but there was always (free!) space for us right nearby
- Even though we were outside of the dates where breakfast is provided, she still had muffins, yogurt, and fruit ready in our room for us. This was a lovely surprise!
- It's silly, but the bidet was really quite nice lol
We booked here to have a weekend away from our 3 kids/toddlers to be able to rest and sleep before having another baby in a month. A couple things really quite soiled our weekend and a few things you should know:
- There are 2 cats living in this house. After now digging around on the website I do see a mention of 1 cat, but the home is obviously Not hypoallergenic as more obviously advertised. My husband is allergic to cats. This fact should have been made much more clear. When we arrived and opened the front door, two cats ran past us from outside into the house. Since they seemed to know what they were doing, we assumed that was ok? But there was no instruction! Then when we walked up to our room, we were greeted by lovely cat poop on the carpeted floor outside our door. On my romantic weekend away, I ended up cleaning up cat poop from in front of our door not once, not twice, but Three times during our visit! My husband, who is allergic to and hates cats, also cleaned the litterbox in an effort to stop the cats from pooping by our door - not something I ever expected to be doing... And to top it off, they were noisy, meowing and scratching all night the first night we were there which woke/kept us up.
- There is no respect for the quiet hours. We were told by the owner that she would not be home at all during the duration of out stay. So when we were awoken in the middle of the night at 1:30a.m. to noises, bright lights and banging, this was quite a shock! For the next half hour or more, she continued to clang in the kitchen and Loudly open and close doors in the hallway Numerous times before finally settling down. It was so odd and had us on edge for the rest of the night with us not really knowing what just happened. So much for paying hundreds of dollars for the sole intent of sleeping well for a couple nights...
- There is not a hot tub. It is an enjoyable soaker tub, but not a true hot tub

The location was amazing. Close to the beach. Private driveway to park. Condo was clean, shower was great. Bed was comfy. Host was attentive. I forgot my computer...she quickly and efficiently mailed it to me....I received it the next day and was so appreciative of how quickly she handled that.
Could have a larger coffee pot or a Keurig. Had to make many of the little pots of coffee. In hindsight we could have gone up the hill to Laura's coffee shop!

How close to the beach the property is. The space provided. The bathroom was beautiful.
There was a lingering cat smell, wasn't dirty but the smell was unpleasant in the hallway.

The room was everything I had expected and more at an exceptional value. It is located in a very safe area with a pristine view of the ocean. I look forward to staying here in the summer.

The ocean view from the room was great. The property was very clean and in good order.
The experience of staying there was strange. We didn’t realize it was a bed and breakfast at a family’s house when we made the reservation. The owner was friendly the couple times we saw her over our 3 days in the room. I saw one other person while I was there. The family all stayed behind closed doors. I am not sure if I was welcome to go anywhere in the house beyond our room (i.e., sit in living room, get ice from kitchen, etc), so all we did was walk straight to our room and quietly stay in there while we were at the property. It was very quiet - I rarely heard anybody speak to each other.
We were supposed to have a continental breakfast, and were provided 4 donuts and some fruit and yogurt upon our arrival. We ate the donuts the first morning and it was never supplemented after that.
The location was good and property very clean, but I did not feel comfortable there. I will return to White Rock since it is a great little town, but I would stay elsewhere next time.

My room included fresh fruit, muffins and coffee creamers + delicious coffee and tea. The balcony lookout over the ocean was stunning. Robes to pair with the jacuzzi jet tub. Amazing bathroom facilities. Bed and pillows were very Comfortable. I was traveling with my 8 month old son and hoped to have a relaxing stay. Boy were our expectations exceeded! We strolled around town and retreated back to our room to order in some delicious local food, nap, watch the sunset from the balcony and hit the jet tub. Couldn't have asked for a better trip to the Coast.
Even in September the room was quite warm, but the room did have an excellent portable fan which helped cool the room off.

the location is perfect. very near the sea and pier. All the facilities meet our needs especially the wash machine and dry machine. We have a private parking in front of our entrance.
The isolation of the room could be better because we can hear the voice sometimes from the next room or from upstairs, luckily not often.

We loved the place but she said it would sleep 4 and there was only one king sized room ( was great) but the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable

Comfortable king bed. Leather couch. Bright interior colors. Ten minute walk down steep hill to waterfront.
Musty smell. Dusty blinds, moldings, vents.. Broken old floor moldings, wall plates, light fixture. Food crust on knives. Missing filters on stove greasy hood vent. Ants in bathroom probably from cracked tiles. No insulation between suite walls or floors. Hear coughing and dog walking.
