+ great location in the Munnar village: walking distance from everything you need, but calm place away from rush + you can start trekking right from the guesthouse, no need to use tuktuk or guide, if you have proper map :) + very friendly and helpful owner, he will help you to organize any kind of trip + clean and spacious rooms, bathroom with hot water

Situated just out of the hubbub of the centre of town meant it was fairly peaceful. I think this was probably average budget accommodation for Munnar. The veggie restaurant at the bottom of the hill was amazing 100 rupees for thalli unlimited!! The manager arranged a great tuk tuk trip for us.

The very steep climb up the hill was a bit off-putting, the rooms were dingy and there was very little warm water. There was a garden but it was not set out for sitting in.

Location is walkable from town center.

Room was not worth the 1300/ day. There was no cleaning or new jugs of water after the first day. Previous stay i had a cottage for 900 rs about 10 km from the town. Here not even morning tea is supplied.

The homestay is located in a serene place at the top of the hill. The accommodation is surrounded with lots of greenery and colorful flowers. The breathtaking scenic beauty of sunrise along with the music of melodious birds may please you to start the day. We felt climbing each time to Rheinberg was an exercise. The best part: The best restaurants, market and bus station and auto stand everything is easily accessible from the homestay. * Wifi is a bit weak here. The caregiver, Mr. Kapil is too humble and meek. He is always ready to serve and may give you all detailed knowledge of local things. He provided us with a clean room, towels, soap and drinking water as usual. The owner of the house, Mr Prasad is a charming person, an admirer of nature. We feel lucky to be around him. We felt homely and comfortable due to his warm behavior. We would definitely like to visit his property next time. If you would prefer a homestay to spend a cool holiday with your family, Rheinberg will be your best choice.
