Great location near the airport and local rail. Clean and simple, lovely neighborhood.

Awesome location, first of all. I usually stay in Bandra but this will be my first choice from now on. Great local neighborhood, right next to the local rail station. Close to the airport. It's Mumbai so it's gonna be busy and chaotic anywhere but here felt more chill. The street market made me wish I had a kitchen with all of the fresh produce right outside. The hostel was pretty clean in the common areas. I had a private room which was nice and clean. Breakfast on the rooftop patio was basic and good. The common room upstairs is nice too as a work and rest space.

No secure luggage storage. They welcomed you to leave your luggage ay reception for the full day, but it's fairly unattended with staff in and out and not there at all times. Some staff were super helpful, some were indifferent.

Sehr gutes Hostel

Sehr sehr nettes Personal. Ich hatte eine gute Zeit mit Saad. Ein sehr sauberes und komfortables Hostel.

Das hostel ist etwas weit entfernt von den Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber dafür direkt neben dem Bahnhof und von dort sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten für 10 rupees sehr schnell und gut erreichbar. Das ist also meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Really nice place

Great rooftop, amazing breakfast, staff was really friendly and helpful, beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is also nice and safe, lots of stores and street tents, right next to Vile Parle train station with easy connection to all Mumbai.

Students should stay together and under supervision by staff, not divided by all rooms and mixed with travellers. They live in the hostel and obviously create a noisy and not healthy environment.

everything is perfect from rooms to location and the cherry on the top is the terrace and the breakfast. keep it up thanks Manali (front desk) for making it very smooth for us

Good atmosphere, fairly neat and clean, very friendly and inviting staff at the premises, Great facilities with a superb cook who cooks home like meals with very affordable prices. It was a fun place to stay at and will definitely be back here soon.

Wonderful stay at Locomo. The location is great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Saad is the best, he'll go above and beyond to help you during your stay. Thank you!!

I'd recommend making more use of their beautiful rooftop area with group events. The last night they hosted a fantastic event. Perhaps yoga classes or outdoor cinema or open mic night.

Wonderful

Staff were wonderful and helpful. We booked a private room and bathroom which was comfortable and spacious with good AC. The free breakfast was fantastic and all served on the beautiful rooftop.

The room was very clean, however there was a very strong chemical smell in the bathroom with no extractor fan for ventilation.

If you are looking a clean place to stay in Mumbai, it's a hostel for you

It's a very clean hostel. The cleanest hostel I have ever seen in India. Very convenient location: close to the airport and just in front of the metro to get the city center. A nice roof top to drink something on fresh air after a long noisy day in the city. We enjoyed this hotel a lot!

I enjoyed the location, staff, sunset at rof top, the fruits and vegetables market down stairs, good city connections (avoid rush hours) by the Villa Parle train statio. Not far from airport Recomendo!

We booked a double bedroom: very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious on the nice rooftop. Location is also nice, close to train station and to the airport. Very good vibes at the hostel: highly recommend!

Exceptional

Staff is amazing. Very helpful and they will make sure you will feel as comfortable as possible. I'd like to thank them for all the help and suggestions where to go and where to find specific things. Location is top notch, the rooms and beds comfortable, roof top terrace is no to miss - comfy and chill place. Breakfast very good. Overall one of the best experiences in India.

Maybe too strong ac at my top bed in the room. But no big deal. I'm not an ac fan 🙈

Everything you wish for you find here... Good location, close to local train, close to airport , close to Juhu beach, shopping malls, restaurants, food market... The rooftop is such a nice place to relax after a busy day of visiting Mumbai and the breakfast they serve is surprisingly special, not the standard! And the staff is so friendly and helpful! Thsnks, see you again!

perfect hostel near mumbai airport

i didn’t have much expectation, so i was happy with all i received. everything was simple and practical for me. i appreciate the staff. specially the lady at the reception who was super friendly and helpful. the room was well designed, bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious, breakfast was good, rooftop was amazing. it’s the perfect hostel near the airport.

once the entrance was locked when we arrived after midnight. it was stressful for me, because my phone was not working and if i was not with friends, i didn’t have any means to contact the reception. i assume it was a one time incident.

good location, friendly stuff and clean place but our room had absolutely no ventilation in bathroom and not allowed to

Terrasse is amazing, personelle was very helpful, very good location, everything near by. we could get SIM card easily. usually it takes a lot of time.

we left our window in the night open to have some fresh air, Night Shift security closed it twice. not even explaining why. there is no ventilation in the room we had (triple premium room). the bathroom was moldy and absolutely no ventilation. it was difficult for two of us. I’m allergic to moldy humidity. but though we were not allowed to open window to let that stuck humid air out. that’s the only but very disturbing point for the hostel.

Amazing place, staff, food, facilities. On par with a 5-star hotel!

The staff were very courteous. We were here in the private room with our 2-year old daughter and the staff was nothing but accommodative and helpful. They allowed us to checkin early and keep our luggage till the evening as we had a late evening train. Breakfast is amazing. Simple, yet tasty. Place is really cool. Their Terrace is very nice for soaking in the morning freshness and amazingly decorated with lights for midnight talks :). Location is perfect. Close to the local train station and also near a lot of tasty food joints.

Before or after arrival in Mumbai Airport the best place to go,!

The atmosphere and friendliness of this hostel is was above my expectation. It is so pleasant and comfortable with excellent breakfast and fantastic rooftop, if I return to Mumbai I will definitely stay there again. Thankyou Locomo for such a warm welcome after landing in India and it is so close to the airport!

Great choice m

I liked how modern the place is, how close to the airport, and how friendly the staff was to me as soon as I have arrived. They have a big terrace for you to sit and chill as well as an air conditioned room that is optimal for remote working or for just relaxing. The dorms were spacious and comfortable.

Some travelers in my dorm were not very respectful of me trying to sleep and they were videocalling or taking a shower with music on.
