Exceptional

The owner of Tsunami Hostel helped us to get a shuttle on the same day. If he did not help us, we were not able to travel that day to our next stop. He is very kind and helpful. We also recived some of the mango’s out of his trees! We enjoyed our stay in Tsunami Hostel.

you need to refund me 282.50. the manager gave me my money back for 4 nites because there was no water or electricity so you had no business charging me for 5 nites. please refund me $282.50 immediately. also I booked royal senosta in San Juan Puerto Rico from 3/20-3/27 the first nite please change the reservation on 3/20 to one person the remaining nites 3/21-3/27 there are 2 people I booked this for 2300 not 2500 please clarify and respond

Unfortunately, I will only return if I have nowhere else to go.

I liked the location and a few of the people I met. The owner is super sweet and the staff is helpful. If you want to party, this is your place.

Unfortunately, the noise never stops. I was there for one night and after a long day of travel, all I wanted to do was eat dinner and get some sleep. I went to bed early, but the talking from the common area can easily be heard. I thought that there would be a cut off time for the noise like most Hostels, but this was not the case. There was furniture banging, people having way to much fun and horns beeping to pick people up until past 3:00 am. I wish I had a better experience. Also, don't put anything in the fridge as others will help themselves.

this property, is completely poor, and expensive, doors without locks, bad fans, and high prices, I still don't understand how a page as serious as Booking.com has in its list of hotels, places like this… My advice is, to spend a night in this hotel, it's better to sleep in the car..

Superb

We had the privilege to watch the World Cup at Tsunami! Oh wow it was so much fun. We were close to the beach and the hotel is so charming- The host are so nice! Thank you!

Definetily worth it if you want to save money, but you might want to spend a little bit more on a better Hostel.

Pretty decent location, very friendly staff and good equipped kitchen

Toilet broke after 3 days and had stuff running out of it the rest of the time. You could also see the toilet broke before and was just fixed with some tape. Also loud people from 6am on.

great staff, great value, great beach location!

great value for price. not the nicest, but definitely worth it for a private room. reception staff is absolutely amazing. awesome guy took the time to ask me about where I was going, actually gave me extra helpful directions for getting there. he pulled up a map on the computer and showed me the best route to take. i also personally loved the location. it’s like a 2 minute walk to the beach. I went out and ran the beach at night and grabbed something to eat on the way home. I will definitely be staying at tsunami again if I’m ever back in Tamarindo!

It has been the worst booking experience,i am not going to get into details, but to sleep there in the corridor area is simply impossible. I might add that i have never been writing something negative out from constructive tips but the feeling of leaving a place not been able to sleep is making me write these lines. Hope that helps

Super sweet staff and reasonable prices. Woukd stay again.

The manager and staff are AMAZING! The location was good too but not in the middle of town.

The washrooms in the rooms could be updated.

Good budget option - if you're not budgeting on using the kitchen.

It has a great location and offers a sufficient option for someone on a budget.

The kitchen was not clean. We were not even willing to make coffee there. There was lots of rotten food in the fridge that hasn't been cleaned in much too long.
