El desayuno era bueno, aunque tardaban mucho para servirlo. La ubicación es muy buena, cerca de todas las atracciones.

Había mucho desorden a la hora de asignar las camas, no se sabía cuál era el dormitorio ni la cama que me correspondía, el baño podía estar más limpio. No daban toalla, lo cual es algo indispensable en todo alojamiento.

Overall affordable and decent place to stay in San Juan!

Love the location, the private room bed was super nice and comfy, and the two fans (floor and ceiling) were more than adequate -- didn't miss AC at all! The staff at the front desk are super friendly too. Best of all is PRICE for a private room, so affordable!

Kitchen staff are not welcoming, room didn't have a lockable drawer/cabinet (last year when I stayed here it did have one), and the biggest thing for me was that you had to request to have the room cleaned and had to BE THERE during the cleaning, presumably so cleaning staff didn't steal your stuff. I never got my room cleaned because I was always out and about and couldn't be there. Not a huge deal, but by the end of 15 days the room was pretty full of sand.

Good place to stay in San Juan del Sur

In general: I completely don’t understand the low rate of this hostel and from my point of view seen the price/quality ratio it deserves a way higher grade than it has now. -Comfortable bed with curtains + socket + big lockers -Ensuite bathroom in the dorm with toilet & shower (coldish, but was ok in the hot climate over there) -More toilets downstairs in the hostel -WiFi worked well (also in the dorm) -Lots of places to sit/hang out -Bus stop, restaurants, shops, ATM and beach all very closeby -I could pay with creditcard without extra charge -Free drinking water -Even breakfast included in the price -Friendly and helpful staff -They were renovating the place when I stayed there, so I’ll guess it will only be better when they’re done!

Gente no es honesta roban

Esa gente que trabaja alli le roban a los nicaraguenses a mi me robaron mi cellular mientras dormia de mi bolso me lo sacaron y solo a los nicas a los extrangeros no le roban.

Céntrico hostal con buen desayuno

La ubicación a dos pasos de la playa. La pequeña cocina ofrece la posibilidad de cocinar si se desea. Además el desayuno es muy completo.

Nicht empfehlenswert! Dreckig und ungemütlich!

Ehrlichgesagt nichts, Personal war freundlich.

Dreckige Zimmer, sehr laut, wir fühlten uns sehr unwohl. Frühstück sehr wenig und nicht besonders lecker.

Hospedaje cómodo pero sin lujos

Tiene una excelente ubicación y su personal fue muy amable

De vez en cuando se percibía mal olor en el baño, supongo que algún problema de alcantarillado

Great surf hostel

Can’t fault the properly itself! Great room and facilities. Location was perfect and staff were friendly and helpful. The highlight was our surf lesson with Gabriel! There is a blackboard in reception that tells you about this service and Gabriel’s phone number. He was a great coach for two people who had never surfed before. He was so enthusiastic, patient and encouraging. He had us catching the waves and standing up within a few attempts. Great guy and a service I could not recommend more for beginner surfers or those looking to try for the first time like us. It included a shuttle back and forth to the beach. I think we paid 30 USD for the service which was definitely great value for money.

The location is fantastic, the price is fair being that breakfast in included. An extremely social hostel with people always hanging out. The happy hour deals are ridiculous Ik the best way possible.

looks good from the outside but there are better, more comfortable hostels for same price

* balcony with nice views * great location in the centre of town * delicious food and free breakfast * shuttles to the beach leave from here

* kitchen facilities very basic and not really used * fans in the bedroom don’t do much, especially if you are on a bottom bunk, so I found it very difficult to sleep at night * not a great communal area * bathroom very basic and no soap provided

cheap hostel right in the center with breakfast good value for money but you get what you pay for. Nice staff, and they have shuttle to madera beach (5$return)

it’s a really big hostel (too big for me- factory like) doesn’t have social vibe or warm feeling. The bathroom could be renovated or painted. No hammocks or chairs on the balcony. They have a really big rooftop but also no chilling area.

Really cool place that deserves a higher rating, don’t be put off by the low score here!

Amazing location, cool downstairs area to hang out in, really good free breakfast. Surprised by its average rating of 6.9 coz it’s way better than this.

Only real issue was the power cuts. My second night there the power went out around 8pm and was still out when I checked out the next morning at 10am. However they still were able to cook breakfast so wasn’t the worst.

Exceptional

This 4 bed dorm had 2 hours string fans to keep the room cool. Good size with private curtains, lockers under the beds and nice bathroom with hooks and place to put your toiletries. Quiet room with no noise from the street or within the hostel either. The best night sleep I had in this room. I had to pull the bed away from the wall for the plug point.

I wish there was availability for this room my whole stay

We had curtains all around the bed for privacy. Staff were friendly.

No curtains for the sliding patio doors, very basic dorm. Very difficult to find a plug point, no mirror except in bathroom. No hook's or shelves to put your toiletries in the shower. No bed lights, the 3 fans were not strong so was very hot in the dorm. You have lockers under the beds but too small for my backpack. No handsoap or towel to dry your hands like other hostels. No towels to give or rent.

Dorms are really nice

private rooms are in need of a maintenance especially the sink needs a fix to the wall (not glue). The rooms are really noisy and you can hear the neighbors really well
