Heerlijk.

Super mooi en fijn verblijf

Het lag best ver van het centrum. Ik zou dit niet aanraden als je niet comfortabel met een scooter bent. Wij moesten steeds 30 minuten lopen in de hitte.

Beware of the roosters

It was clean an spacious

There are A LOT of chickens and roosters that live in the area around the building. The roosters make a lot of noise they start around 5 am and keep going non stop till 7 and it feels like they are in your room (soundwise). I didn’t like it but maybe there are people who do. Anyway we ended up going to another place on the same street without chickens.

The stay was very worth my while and my penny. Best place to stay in koh tao if you ask me.

They had a free shuttle for the a different beach every day. They also did events and such. You won't get bored there.

I would say is a luxury hostel with nice people

the facilities, the location and the stuf. because we were staying for 4 nights they upgraded us to a suite, so from the very beginning the experience was superb! The views from the room were amazing. it felt like we were in the middle of the jungle (but is not true). The pool was nice because is super deep so you can practice skills for diving.

very neat and spacious hostel

very neat, clean and spacious. we were lucky to get upgraded to a very large room! :) also er first thought that the location was not the best, but it turned out to be fine. especially when you rent a scooter! (please don’t rent it at Van Travel, who are close to the hostel, they are scammers).

there was nothing that we didn’t like, but maybe three points to mention: the breakfast was very basic. we got an additional part of the breakfast due to our upgrade,so we could order eggs or yoghurt and musli. the standard breakfast just had white toast, jam, pancakes, fruits and a thai dish. we picked the hostel at the end of our holiday because we thought socializing would be nice at the end of our trip (as we travelled together). unfortunately the hostel did not feel as social because nobody said hi if you crossed paths. they just looked at their phones. but i can imagine that its not always the case. and we also did not put any extra effort to be social :) third, we had the large private room, but the bathroom is actually inside the bedroom. also the toilet door is not a full length door, so if you stay together then you really have to know each other if you know what i mean ;)

perfect

i came back to the dearly for the 3rd time, 6 years after the last time. I was not disappointed, it was still exceptional. yes the free breakfast is a bit basic but for the price, it is worth it. and you can order on top additional dish or drink. they offer quite a few free / low cost services for guests.

i stayed in the back building and it is quite a hike. but I am out of shape. maybe specify when booking?

great stay.

This was the best hostel I had in Thailand. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was really good and if you want to the hostel had activities everyday. I would recommend this hostel if you want some rest and some time to relax.

If you want to party or going out, you won’t like this hostel because it’s a bit further away.

Stayed in over 60 hostels last year and this one is definitely one of the best I've ever stayed in. Lovely rooms and easy to meet people. They organize free trips to different beaches around the island every day for people that do no drive scooter, so that was really great as well. There was also a barbecue while I was there which was also very nice.

Really nice hostel and diving course.

The private room was really nice, especially for the price, and the pool area was very pleasant. We did a diving course with the hostel's school, which was convenient and professional.

The lack of indoor dining area meant that we contended with a lot of bugs at mealtimes in the alfresco dining space. There was quite a lot of smoke from neighbouring properties lighting fires in the evenings. This probably isn't unique to this area, but is worth considering if you are sensitive to air quality etc.

Superb

I had an amazing stay at the dearly. The dorms were really big and comfy. The staff were lovely and very helpful with arranging transport and they had daily activities including a BBQ whilst I was there. Free breakfast was really good. I could not recommend this place enough.

There were lots of roosters next door that made noise throughout the entire night. Took some getting used to.

Comfy stay, great pool, little far so be prepared

Excellent place for a stay. Super clean, and the staff helped me relocate to a different room after some dude in the previous one dumped cologne all over. Try the pool and hit up the staff for the events. Breakfast was great too. Did I mention you can rent a scooter and do laundry real cheap just 3 minutes away?😁

It's a bit far from the main venues in town. Not a bad thing per se, but be prepared if you want to do any night activities

Superb

-This was my second stay in this hostel. I stayed in the shared room and the superior suite. Both are nice and comfortable! For couples the superior suite is verry nice. - it was very calm in the night. - the pool is beautiful. - loved the breakfast. - the staff was nice.

- Keep in mind that it's a pretty long walk to the street with the bars and the ferry. If you take a taxi it's fine.

Lovely hostel, great range of dorms and private rooms. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was changed every 3 days of my stay. There was loads of room to store my things, the lockers under the bunkbeds were huge! There were plenty of bathrooms and they were always very clean (as was the rest of the hostel!). The hostel arranged a free shuttle to different beach each afternoon (Mon-Sat) and also had a few other activities during the week which were free to go on, this was a great way to meet other guests! The hostel staff were also super friendly and helpful. The only potential negative would be that the hostel is a bit out of the way. It isn't far from Freedom beach and the 360 and John Suwan viewpoints, an easy 10-15 minute walk, but to go anywhere else you'd need to rent a scooter, unless you're happy to splash out on a taxi! However, this was perfect for me as it meant the hostel was quiet and relaxed, plus the free daily shuttles to different beaches made up for it!

- The location wasn’t great, but the hostel compensated for this by offering free trips and transport. As such, the location was not a problem.

Chill, helpful and clean hostel experience.

A great hostel experience! The rooms and the building are nice and clean with good facilities. The staff are very helpful and speak good English, they sometimes organize things like BBQ as well. The pool is nice and, even though it is not a party hostel, the social atmosphere was good

Only thing is that it's a 30 minute walk from the main area. This is solved by a cheap/short taxi or scooter ride though.

Felt like a beautiful and sociable hotel, not a hostel

Beautiful decor, free return shuttles to a beach each day, Friday night sunset trip and Saturday night bbq, incredibly helpful staff, big clean pool, hot-desking area, pool table, big clean bathrooms, close to a shop, walking distance to Shark Bay which is stunning, friendly people, EVERYTHING

It was quite far away from all the action in the evenings. I ended catching lifts with other people on their scooters / using taxi’s so wasn’t a deal breaker but does mean you have to be willing to pay a bit more for transport.
