The location was excellent within the Plaza Mayor and the view from the room.

Il prezzo esagerato per una colazione davvero scarsa con prodotti senza sapore . La SPA è molto bella da vedere ma praticamente non funziona nulla : la sauna a malapena 40 gradi la mini piscina molto bassa e getti d’acqua ridicoli ..😂😂😂 . Non so come facciano a avere una cosa del genere . Inoltre la piscina sull ultimo piano piccolissima è gelida .. potevano almeno riscaldarla viste le dimensioni. Insomma una esperienza pessima .

The included breakfast was delicious and great way to start the day. The indoor pool and facilities were amazing to relax in. The view of the plaza was fantastic - fun watching the activities change over the course of 24 hours but always busy. Disappointed the roof top pool was closed - but understandably based on the poor weather conditions during my stay. Its very comfortable hotel in an amazing, convenient location in central Madrid, I highly recommend!

We forgot to add breakfast included in our booking. Definitely pay the extra for breakfast included as it’s 24 euro per person if not.

The room although a superior room was very small. No separate bathroom- just cubicles in the room, which lacked privacy.

Great location right in the middle of Plaza Mayor, air conditioning working well - really appreciated in the middle of hot Madrid summer, quiet room even if looking directly to Plaza Mayor. Really nice restaurant placed in atrium with live trees. Very friendly and helpful staff, thank you team! Swimming pool on the roof top is not super large but there are not many guests using it and it is for sure good enough to chill out during hot Madrid days. I have already seen some comments suggesting to spend a bit of extra money and get the room looking to the main square, I agree - it is really worth!

the location, the ambience, the helpfulness of the staff and the spa were excellent. From here you can explore the city well and for the fact that the hotel is located in the city center, it was also surprisingly quiet.

the room was a bit small and didn't have a proper place to sit, for the high price, i would have expected this. we didn't take the breakfast as the price seemed too high as well.

Don’t get fooled by the picture - it’s a very small swimming pool. the room is tiny and the pillows are very uncomfortable, towels are thinner than paper and the response by the reception was slow

Very very central, everything was a five minute walk away which was great! Lovely staff who were very accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay :)

Most of the staff was. very nice, clean and I liked the smells of the soaps.

I can put up with a small boutique hotel and tiny room and also the indoor pool is tiny and the rooftop closes early. And my prepaid breakfast is not open to eat. They did have a lunchbox breakfast prepared as discussed. Along with a 7:30 wake up call and taxi service. I guess they think it's not important for a tired jet lag traveler who requested a wake up call. Any serious business person would be pissed off. If you are someone who is a serious international traveler who needs to catch planes and give you a reliable wake up call. And need people to do what they say, then this place is not the place for you . In a decent hotel you need staff who takes your early wake up calls serious. The staff was very nice but that one woman on Saturday Sunday messed up a very important detail. And jeapardizes a whole team. I can tell that she was not happy or confident working there. I understand that people have problems but do not go to work when people rely on you doing an excellent job. It was disappointing and does damage the reputation of the hotel. Luckily American Airlines knows that Pestana hotel does not hold a high standard with reliability. And I did not miss my very expensive international flight.

The location was incredible, we were able to walk to most places over our 5 day stay. Hotel staff were attentive but not intrusive. Having 2 swimming pools and a gym was excellent.

Needed a little more storage in the room. Air con in the gym would have been very welcome.Maybe would have been good if the rooftop pool opened until 8 as it was still really warm so a 7pm close seemed a little early.

This is a really nice hotel and a perfect location. I think I got a discounted rate for some reason. I would personally not pay the normal rate for a hotel room. But if you are willing to pay full price, the rooms are very comfortable. The air conditioner worked great in the shower was great and the location is absolutely perfect. The staff were wonderful. Also, the breakfast was very good and a good value for Europe.

Toilet is separate and opens into the room with no sink attached. The sink is in the room next to the bed and one night the gutter was smelling. The shower is in the room next to the bed.
